    Opis:
    The purpose of the paper is to present the possibilities of the three-dimensional representation of geological strata in underground (access) workings in a hard coal deposit in the SW part of the Upper Silesian Coal Basin, using CAD software and its flagship program AutoCAD. The 3D visualization of the results of underground workings’ mapping is presented and illustrated on two opening out workings (descending galleries). The criteria for choosing these workings were based on their length and the complexity of geological settings observed while they were driven. The described method may be applied in spatial visualization of geological structures observed in other deposits, mines and existing workings (it is not applicable for designing mine workings), also beyond the area of the Upper Silesian Coal Basin (USCB). The method presented describes the problem of the visualization of underground mine workings in a typical geological aspect, considering (aimed at) detailed visualization of geological settings revealed on the side walls of workings cutting the deposit.

    Opis:
    Ograniczenie zagrożenia wodnego stanowi jeden z priorytetów Kopalni Soli „Kłodawa”. Pole soli kamiennej białej nr 1 zlokalizowane jest wzdłuż wschodniej granicy wysadu. Granice Pola od strony północno-wschodniej stanowi konstrukcyjnie wyznaczona powierzchnia filara brzeżnego, który do poziomu 600 m ma grubość 50 m. Źródłem zagrożenia wodnego przy eksploatacji Pola nr 1 są północno-wschodnia granica wysadu solnego oraz południowo-zachodnia granica Pola. W artykule przedstawiono metodykę likwidacji wyrobisk chodnikowych w filarze brzeżnym, w których stwierdzono zjawiska wodne. Odpowiedni dobór technologii likwidacji, uzależniony od miejsca występowania zjawisk wodnych ogranicza zagrożenie wodne omawianego rejonu kopalni.
    Water hazard reduction is one of the priorities of the “Kłodawa” Salt Mine’s management. White rock salt Field No. 1 is situated along the eastern border of the Kłodawa salt dome. The boundaries of the field on the north-east side are equivalent to the structurally designated area of the peripheral pillar, which is 50 m thick down to the level of 600 m. The source of water hazard during the exploitation of Field No. 1 is situated in the north-eastern boundary of the salt dome and the south-western boundary of the Field. This paper presents a methodology of the liquidation of the salt mine’ workings in the peripheral pillar where water hazard has been identified. Appropriate selection of the mine decommissioning technology, depending on the places of occurrence of water leaks, can reduce the water hazard in the specific areas of the salt mine.

    Opis:
    The purpose of this research is to substantiate a technical solution for improving the working conditions for the thermal factor in the extraction of oil by the thermoshaft method using the mine refrigeration technology. The review of manufacturers and technical characteristics of refrigeration technology in Russia, CIS countries and Western Europe was conducted. It was shown that the use of a water cooling machine in the mine air conditioning system will reduce the air temperature in the oil production gallery to the required values and will allow to abandon the long-term construction of a surface stationary refrigeration station. Normalization of the thermal regime reduces the costs of benefits and compensation for work in harmful labor conditions and improves the quality of service of production wells by operators. The practical significance is that the proposed project for the introduction of air conditioning has a high level of profitability, and its payoff will occur in the second year of operation.
