The paper focuses on showing the foreign phenomenon in language in translation, which are errors and mistakes. Various types of errors and mistakes were presented in the article: lingual as well as nonlingual (pragmatic, logical, objective), absolute, relative and others. Errors and mistakes from a didactical point of view were shown in the paper as well. Showing the typification of errors and mistakes as foreign phenomenon both in the language and in the translation is to be the most important purpose of this article.

Background: Orofacial clefts are the most common congenital anomalies of the head and neck. Aim: The aim of this paper is to present own group of patients with different types of isolated orofacial clefts. Material and method: A retrospective study presenting patients with different facial clefts was carried out in the group of 473 patients born in the city of Lodz. Results: In the whole group there were: 434 patients with cleft lip and/or palate, 28 with nose clefts and 11 with rare facial clefts classified according to Tessier categorization. Conclusion: In our group, the majority of cases comprised of typical cleft lip and/or palate. Nose clefts are not always a part of craniofacial clefts, but isolated nose clefts can occur and can be observed as midline defects or ala nasi anomaly. A simple system may be adequate for surgical repair, with the more detailed classification schemes important for further understanding of the disease.

The subject of the article is the connections between loyalty and job satisfaction based on surveys questionnaire conducted in a company of telecommunications industry. At the beginning workers were identified by type of loyalty presented by them. One can distinguish among them persons with a positive attitude, indifferent or negative. Then the types of job satisfaction and its determinants were presented. The results of research on the impact of job satisfaction, compared with the types of loyalty of tested employees were presented and discussed in the final part of the article.

This article reports data drawn from a survey of students’ views about their future teacher role. The students were recruited from adapted physical education specialization provided by the University School of Physical Education. The data are used to construct four types of role of adapted physical education teachers. The typology of role which has implications for the range and type of professional development opportunities which might be made available to teachers. The findings show that the majority of students found a holistic type as the most appropriate and they chose the type of teaching which took them closer to the person. As part of the study the authors have independently developed the Model of Roles of APE Teachers (APEROLE) over seven years of teaching practice.

Wind energy is well known as a renewable energy because its clean and less polluted characteristic, which is the foundation of development modern wind electricity. To find more efficient wind turbine is the focus of scientists around the world. Compared from conventional wind turbines, superconducting wind turbine generators have advantages at zero resistance, smaller size and lighter weight. Superconducting wind turbine will inevitably become the main trends in this area. This paper intends to introduce the basic concept and principle of superconductivity, and compare form traditional wind turbine to obtain superiority, then to summary three proposed machine concept.While superconductivity have difficulty in modern technology and we also have proposed some challenges in achieving superconducting wind turbine finally.

The main objective of this paper is to present the current state of empirical research on the application of the theory of Jungian types to the psychology of religion and spirituality, pointing out the necessity of broadening them by including Polish context. The paper presents an outline of this theory and the methods of studying these types (MBTI, KTS, FPTS) used in religion and spiritual-ity. Next, the author presents the results of research on the relation between aspects of the theory of psychological types and the religiosity variables, prayer, and spirituality of individuals as well as groups and centers connected with religion and spirituality. The paper concludes with comments concerning the most important empirical findings and their value for science and practice. A need for research aimed at the verification and generalization of the obtained results with reference to the modern reinterpretations of Jung’s theory and methods of studying personality is also pointed out.

Changes of the groundwater levels in the area of clearcutting in a swampy habitat and moist mixed broadleaved forest are analysed in the paper. The aim of the research is to evaluate the influence of clearcutting on the amount of changes in groundwater levels. The research was carried out in two forestries located on the southern tip of Greater Poland, belonging to Siemianice Experimental Forest Farm. The analysis is based on data from wells located in ashalder swamp forest in Marianka forestry and moist broadleaved forest in Laski forestry. The research is based on the relation of groundwater levels in wells located in clearcutting and observation wells. The received relationship of groundwater levels helps estimate changes in groundwater table, depending on its depth before clearcutting. The research shows increases of groundwater levels in the area of clearcutting. Increments are significantly higher in moist broadleaved forest than in ashalder swamp forest.

Infanticide is a crime with a very interesting history. Over the centuries infanticide has come a long and complicated evolution under the influence of Christianity – from aggravated type of crime to the privileged one. The Polish penal provisions protect human life from the moment of conception until death. It refers to all people including children. However, children’s right to life is not treated the same way as adults when it comes to committing a murder. In case of infanticide possible sentences are much milder compared to a common murder. In the view of existing Polish legal system the issue of infanticide as a crime privileged raises many concerns on the theoretical and practical basis despite many attempts to treat it as a common murder.

In conclusion the author presents definitions of formal, non-formal and informal learning of adults as seen by international organizations.

The article deals with the different types of women and men in the Czech advertisements. The author starts from the premise that in order to increase the effectiveness of advertising, it is essential for advertisers to select suitable means of expression primarily on the basis of the needs or weaknesses of the target group (the segment of the population at which the product is mainly aimed, i.e. the group which is required to start buying the product), and in verbal terms, on the particular sociolect of the target group. The author’s research leads her to claim that it is actually the target group that plays the decisive role in the selection of advertising strategies. Women and men are not only target groups, but also useful models for visual and audiovisual advertising. The way in which people are used in advertising greatly reflects the stereotypes current in a particular society and at a particular time. In this sense advertising acts as a mirror of society - of its behaviours, value system, systems of relationships, and moral principles. The author analyses individual cases in which advertisers depict women and men. She classifies various types of women and men used in Czech mass media advertising, noting the verbal means, which differ depending on the target group.

Opis:
A revision of the basic concepts of type, function (called here operation), and relation is proposed. A simple generic method is presented for constructing operations and types as concrete finite structures parameterized by natural numbers. The method gives rise to build inductively so called Universe intended to contain all what can be effectively constructed at least in the sense assumed in the paper. It is argued that the Universe is not yet another formal theory but may be considered as a grounding for some formal theories.
Zaproponowana została rewizja podstawowych pojęć typu i funkcji (nazywanej tutaj operacją). Typy, obiekty tych typów oraz operacje są konstruowane za pomocą prostej i uniwersalnej metody jako skończone struktury parametryzowane liczbami naturalnymi. Metoda ta pozwala na budowanie tzw. Uniwersum, które, w zamierzeniu, ma zawierać wszystko co jest efektywnie konstruowalne przynajmniej w sensie, jaki jest przyjęty w tej pracy. Przedstawione są argumenty, że Uniwersum nie jest jeszcze jedną formalną teorią, lecz może służyć jako ugruntowanie dla pewnych formalnych teorii.
