Opis:: Autorka artykułu z jednej strony różnicuje pojęcia spacer i wycieczka, a z drugiej doszukuje się w nich cech wspólnych. Zwraca uwagę na występowanie różnych rodzajów wycieczek, o których stanowi wybrane kryterium podziału np. cel lub tematyka. Szczególną uwagę kieruje na cele (edukacyjne, wychowawcze, rekreacyjno-zdrowotne) i wartości jakie dzieci czerpią z tej formy aktywności. W artykule poruszono też kwestie formalne związane z planowaniem i organizacją wycieczek, odwołując się do konkretnych aktów prawnych. Opisano także zawartość regulaminu i karty wycieczki. Rozważania na temat walorów spacerów i wycieczek zamyka kwestia bezpieczeństwa dzieci biorących w nich udział oraz możliwość wykorzystania wiadomości zdobytych podczas wycieczek i spacerów podczas zajęć dydaktyczno-wychowawczych w przedszkolu.
On the one hand, the author differentiates the concepts of a walk and a trip, and on the other hand finds in them common features. She points out the existence of different types of excursions, which are determined by the chosen criterion of division, such as the purpose or subject matter. Particular attention is paid to the objectives (educational, educational, recreational and health-related) and the values that children derive from this form of activity. The article also discusses formal issues related to the planning and organizing trips, with reference to specific legal acts. Excursion cards and the content of the terms and conditions are also described. Considerations on the advantages of trips and excursions close with the issue of safety of children participating in them and the possibility of using the knowledge gained during trips and excursions during didactic and educational activities in the kindergarten.

Opis:: Na tle statystyki uczestnictwa mieszkańców Polski w wyjazdach zagranicznych w latach 1996-2012 przedstawiono wyniki badań dotyczące udziału Polaków w wyjazdach organizowanych przez biura podróży. Podstawowym źródłem danych były dwa rodzaje badań Instytutu Turystyki przeprowadzanych na reprezentatywnych ogólnopolskich próbach osób w wieku 15 i więcej lat. Omówiono główne zmiany, które zaszły w analizowanym okresie. Szczegółowo przedstawiono dane opisujące wyjazdy Polaków zrealizowane za pośrednictwem biur podróży w 2012 roku. Uwzględniono długość pobytu, najczęściej odwiedzane kraje i charakterystykę podróżujących osób. W celach porównawczych odwołano się do niektórych danych uzyskanych w badaniach modułowych Głównego Urzędu Statystycznego, a w odniesieniu do kierunków wyjazdów Polaków w 2012 roku do danych Polskiego Związku Organizatorów Turystyki i Urzędu Lotnictwa Cywilnego.
The author of this article presents the results of research on the subject of the participation of Polish citizens in trips organized by travel agencies in connection with the statistics concerning the participation of Polish citizen in abroad mobility in years 1996-2012. The primary source of data were two types of tests carried out by the Institute of Tourism on representative national sample of persons aged 15 years and older. The research discusses major changes that have occurred in the reporting period. Data describing the participation of Polish citizens in the said trips in 2012 year were presented in detail. The following issues were taken into consideration: length of stay, frequently visited countries and characteristics of traveling people. For comparative purposes, a reference was made to some of the data obtained in the modular studies of Central Statistical Office (GUS), while in relation to the direction of travels of Polish citizens in 2012 – the data were obtained from the Polish Tour Operators Association and the Civil Aviation Authority.

Opis:: Focamos as instituições de ensino e extensão rural no Brasil como atores da construção da identidade social do agricultor introduzindo-o no espaço dos mercados como um empreendedor. A partir da perspectiva do caráter performativo da economia, confrontamos esta construção com a atuação dos EUA através do acordo MEC-USAID e o ponto de passagem de um modelo de relação Estado/mercado na lógica da hierarquia do keynesianismo para a lógica do mercado inaugurada pelo Consenso de Washington. O pós-guerra vislumbrou um acordo cognitivo em torno de um agricultor pensado como um empreendedor e a missão da agricultura era a de salvar os famintos. No início do século XXI predomina a lógica da financeirização que atinge o rural através da linguagem das commodities agrícolas. We focus on the educational and rural extension institutions in Brazil as agents of the farmer’s social identity, inserting him as an entrepreneur in the market field. From the point of view of the performative character of economics, we confront this model with the USA acting through the MEC-USAID agreement and the turning point of a model of State-market relations according to the keynesian hierarchical logic to the market logic inaugurated by the Washington Concensus. During the post war period, the USA/USSR polarization permitted a cognitive agreement about a farmer as an entrepreneur and the agriculture mission was to save the hungry. At the beginning of the 21st century, the financialization logic that reaches the rural through the language of the agricultural commodities prevails. The small farmer is himself the hungry one and the rural extension assumes na assistental character

Opis:: The purpose of the article is to compare motivations of travellers visiting Italy in the past, especially in the Grand Tour period, with those of modern tourists. A literature review has revealed that during the Renaissance in the Enlightenment and in the period of the Grand Tour, travel was an opportunity to acquire knowledge, to pursue science and self-development. The empirical part of the article describes results of a study (involving focus group interviews) which indicate that modern tourists also travel to Italy for educational purposes to visit sights that are famous for their historical and artistic qualities. However, for modern tourists such trips are, to a greater extent, opportunities for “an escape from daily life” as well as a chance to get to know the culture, including the local cuisine, new people and a form of rest and recreation. Another important factor, which also played a role in the romantic period, is the desire to boast of the trip on social media.

Opis:: Based on an anonymous on-line questionnaire survey, conducted among 1000 respondents, the authors present their demographic, socio-economic and spatial profile, their attitude to cannabis and the tourist trips they went on (scale, directions, destinations), involving cannabis consumption. Tourist trips of this kind were attractive to quite a large number of young people, mostly inhabiting large Polish cities, who usually had used and continued to use this drug. Trips inspired by cannabis were most often made to the nearby Czech Republic and Netherlands, as well as (less frequently) to Spain.

Opis:: The main purpose of the study was to collect and analyse opinions of young people concerning the organization of school trips, with special emphasis on factors that discourage them from participating in such trips. The research cycle was conducted in the years 2013-2017 using quantitative (survey) and qualitative (focus group interviews, participatory design) methods. The results provide interesting details about students’ participation in school trips (curriculum-based, extra-curricular), reasons for choosing not to attend school trips and students’ opinions (positive, negative) about school trips. It can be concluded that the inclusion of students’ opinions during the planning stage contributes to shaping their sense of empowerment and responsibility. The findings have not only a practical relevance for young people, teachers and providers of school trip services, but also wider social implications for the development of responsible and sustainable tourism.

Opis:: W artykule, na podstawie analizy wybranych sprawozdań szkolnych z gimnazjów w Galicji, zarysowano problematykę wspierania rozwoju uczniów poprzez uczestnictwo w wycieczkach szkolnych. Dzięki zaangażowaniu nauczycieli uczniowie mieli możliwość zwiedzania najbliższej okolicy, poznawali także odleglejsze miejscowości, odbywały się również wyjazdy poza granice państwa. Urozmaiceniem wycieczek były gry, zabawy, konkursy z nagrodami. Wycieczki szkolne miały wartość zarówno wychowawczą, jak i dydaktyczną. Umożliwiały uczniom konfrontację uzyskanych podczas zajęć szkolnych wiadomości z rzeczywistością, którą mogli zaobserwować, doświadczyć jej. Ich niewątpliwym walorem było pogłębianie kontaktów koleżeńskich, ale również mniej formalne relacje z nauczycielami.
In an article based on an analysis of selected reports of school gymnasiums in Galicia outlined issues to promote the development of students through participation in school trips. Thanks to the commitment of teachers, students had the opportunity to explore the immediate area, learned about the distant village, held also travel outside the borders of the state. Diversification trips were games, contests with prizes. School trips were worth both educational and didactic. Allow students to confront the achieved during school news with the reality that you can see, to experience. Their undoubted advantage was the deepening of friendly relations, but also less formal relationships with teachers.

Opis:: Purpose: There has always been an international dimension to debates on intellectual property rights protection. High-developed countries implemented own protection standards which became common but not globally respected. Nowadays they experience problems connected with their violation. Design/methodology/approach: The subject matter and main aims of the paper require detailed literature studies and deep analysis and comparison of opinions presented by scholars representing both sides of the TRIPS negotiation process. It is necessary to present the opinions of well-known worldwide organizations and researchers from developed and developing countries. Findings: The paper presents the international legal consensus related to the protection of intellectual property rights and signals the main problems which haven’t been solved. It also presents the main tools used by developed countries to promote their global strategy of intellectual property rights protection. Originality/value: The paper shows and explains the main problems faced by high-developed countries and discusses the different opinions.
