Death and the Maiden by Roman Polański is an example of an experimental transposition of Ariel Dorman’s drama into the visual language of film. The merging of words and pictures in the film is compared to Bachtin’s dialogisation which permeates the element of the European novel. The meaning and motivation of the words in the characters’ dialogues influences the development of the action, form and rhythm of the takes as well as their juxtaposition with the characters and props.Polański does not limit himself only to a single-track effect. As dialogisation influences the forms of visualization, so images broaden the meanings of the dialogues, creating new contexts. The film is not only an attempt to prove that the alleged or real rapist was guilty, but also a study of the dishonoured woman’s fight for a right to live without traumatic reminiscences.

In Western music culture instruments have been developed according to unique instrument acoustical features based on types of excitation, resonance, and radiation. These include the woodwind, brass, bowed and plucked string, and percussion families of instruments. On the other hand, instrument performance depends on musical training, and music listening depends on perception of instrument output. Since musical signals are easier to understand in the frequency domain than the time domain, much effort has been made to perform spectral analysis and extract salient parameters, such as spectral centroids, in order to create simplified synthesis models for musical instrument sound synthesis. Moreover, perceptual tests have been made to determine the relative importance of various parameters, such as spectral centroid variation, spectral incoherence, and spectral irregularity. It turns out that the importance of particular parameters depends on both their strengths within musical sounds as well as the robustness of their effect on perception. Methods that the author and his colleagues have used to explore timbre perception are: 1) discrimination of parameter reduction or elimination; 2) dissimilarity judgments together with multidimensional scaling; 3) informal listening to sound morphing examples. This paper discusses ramifications of this work for sound synthesis and timbre transposition.

Suche zapalenie spojówek i rogówki u zwierząt (KCS) powstaje na skutek zubożonej produkcji łez, co skutkuje ich niedoborem. Choroba objawia się wysuszeniem powierzchni oka. Oko jest zaczerwienione, zwierzę odczuwa świąd. Pojawiają się na powierzchni rogówki keratopatie. Schorzenie występuje u psów, kotów a nawet koni. W miarę trwania choroby, wokół oczu na powierzchni powiek, odkłada się ropna wydzielina. Istnieje wiele przyczyn powodujących taki stan. Głównie są to zaburzenia natury immunologicznej, wady wrodzone, urazy, reakcje polekowe, infekcje wirusowe oraz zaburzenia hormonalne. Rozpoznanie choroby odbywa się za pomocą testu łzowego Schirmera (STT). Leczenie polega na podawaniu preparatów nawilżających oko oraz leków stymulujących produkcję łez (cyclosporyna A, tacrolimus). W przypadku, gdy leczenie takie nie przynosi oczekiwanych rezultatów, można zastosować zabieg transpozycji przewodu ślinianki.
Keratoconjunctivitis sicca – KCS- “dry eye” is due to an aqueous tear deficiency. This results in persistent, mucopurulent conjunctivitis and corneal ulceration and scaring. KCS occurs in dogs, cats and horses. With time, some of the mucous can build up around the eye, becoming dry and crusty. As the conditions progresses, the cornea becomes invaded with blood vessels, scarred and pigmented. There are a number of possible causes i.e. autoimmune, congenital, trauma, drug reactions, viral infections and hormone imbalance. Dry eye is diagnosed with a Schirmer tear test. Therapy consists of artificial tear solutions, ointment and antibiotic combinations. Lacrimogenics such as topical cyclosporine A or tacrolimus may increase tear productions. In chronic KCS refractory to medical therapy, parotid duct transpostion is indicated.

Muzyka i architektura posiadają wiele cech wspólnych, szczególnie gdy będziemy je porównywać pod względem zasad kompozycyjnych, a zwłaszcza przy wprowadzeniu wspólnego czasu percepcji tych kompozycji. Podstawowe zasady kompozycyjne mające odniesienie do muzyki, sztuk wizualnych i architektury można pokazać za pomocą pewnych modeli i symulacji. Są nimi między innymi: grafiki muzyczne, wizualizacje malarskie, graficzne i przestrzenne, impresje i barwne kolaże, oraz transpozycje. Autorska metoda transpozycji muzyki na architekturę polega na czasowej analizie wybranej muzyki w formie trzech kroków, poprzedzonych krokiem „0”, poprzez sporządzenie: 1. wykresu wrażeń, 2. zapisu graficznego, który jest krokiem pośrednim ukazującym w sposób graficzny struktury dźwiękowe na osi czasu. Zapisy graficzne dotyczące melodii, rytmu, czy dynamiki słuchanego utworu mogą tu stanowić wytyczne do transpozycji kształtu, światła i koloru dla kompozycji architektonicznej. 3. transpozycji przestrzennej. Decydującym narzędziem badania praw percepcji i budowy kompozycji jest tu zastosowanie wykresu wrażeń. Jest on nośnikiem wrażeniowej gry percepcyjnej z jej dominantami, wstępem i zakończeniem.. Sedno metody transpozycji muzyki na architekturę polega na wprowadzeniu odpowiedniej konfiguracji bodźców przestrzennych, tak aby odwzorować wykres wrażeń sporządzony podczas słuchania muzyki.
Music and architecture possess many common features, especially when compared in terms of the composition rules, especially when the common perception time of these compositions is included. Basic composition rules relating to music, visual arts and architecture may be shown using certain models and simulations. These include musical graphic, painted, graphical and spatial visualizations, impression and colorful collages, and transpositions. Novel method of music to architecture transposition is based on the temporal analysis of the selected music in the form of the following three steps preceded by the "0" step: 1. chart of impressions, 2. graphical transposition which is an intermediate step showing graphically the structure of the sound on the time axis. Graphic recording of the melody, rhythm, and dynamics of current musical piece may provide guidance to transpose shape, light and color into architectural composition. The third step is spatial transposition with creation of the chart of sensations as the tool to study the perception rights and the construction of a composition. It is a medium for the perception game with dominants, introduction and ending. The essence of the transposition of the music into the architecture is the introduction of appropriate configuration of the spatial stimuli to reproduce the chart of impressions drawn while listening to music.

Throughout the centuries French and Francophone writers were relatively rarely inspired by the figure of Moses and the story of Exodus. However, since the second half of 20th c. the interest of the writers in this Old Testament story has been on the rise: by rewriting it they examine the question of identity dilemmas of contemporary men. One of the examples of this trend is Moïse Fiction, the 2001 novel by the French writer of Jewish origin, Gilles Rozier, analysed in the present article. The hypertextual techniques, which result in the proximisation of the figure of Moses to the reality of the contemporary reader, constitute literary profanation, but at the same time help place Rozier’s text in the Jewish tradition, in the spirit of talmudism understood as an exchange of views, commentaries, versions and additions related to the Torah. It is how the novel, a new “midrash”, avoids the simple antinomy of the concepts of the sacred and the profane. Rozier’s Moses, conscious of his complex identity, is simultaneously a Jew and an Egyptian, and faces, like many contemporary Jewish writers, language dilemmas, which constitute one of the major motifs analysed in the present article. Another key question is the ethics of the prophetism of the novelistic Moses, who seems to speak for contemporary people, doomed to in the world perceived as chaos unsupervised by an absolute being. Rozier’s agnostic Moses is a prophet not of God (who does not appear in the novel), but of humanism understood as the confrontation of a human being with the absurdity of his or her own finiteness, which produces compassion for the other, with whom the fate of a mortal is shared.

Problematyka ponadgranicznych świadczeń opieki pozaszpitalnej (ambulatoryjnej) stanowi istotną część prawa pacjenta do uzyskania opieki medycznej w innym państwie członkowskim Unii Europejskiej. Co do zasady, tzw. rozporządzenia koordynacyjne UE, wydawane w związku z przepływem pracowników w ramach Unii, oraz orzecznictwo Trybunału Sprawiedliwości UE (TSUE) przewidują swobodę w ich otrzymywaniu przez pacjentów. Dyrektywa 2011/24/UE w sprawie stosowania praw pacjentów w transgranicznej opiece zdrowotnej miała „skodyfikować" przedmiotową judykaturę TSUE oraz ustanowić zasady ułatwiające dostęp do bezpiecznej transgranicznej opieki zdrowotnej o wysokiej jakości w Unii. Założeniem artykułu było zbadanie, czy swoboda pacjentów w ponadgranicznym korzystaniu z przedmiotowej kategorii usług medycznych w wyniku przyjęcia powyższej dyrektywy nie doznaje ograniczeń, które byłyby nie do pogodzenia z istniejącymi przepisami unijnego prawa. Analizie poddano zarówno proces prac nad dyrektywą, jak i jej ostateczny kształt. Prowadzi ona do wniosku, iż ten ostatni odbiega, ze szkodą dla praw pacjentów, od początkowych założeń, opartych na korzystnym dla nich orzecznictwie TSUE. W artykule zbadano również założenia polskich przepisów, które mają wdrożyć dyrektywę 2011/24/UE do prawa polskiego. Przeprowadzona analiza prowadzi do wniosku, że projektowana transpozycja tego unijnego aktu do polskiego systemu prawnego zmierza w podobnym do dyrektywy, niekorzystnym dla polskich pacjentów, kierunku.
The issue of cross-border non-hospital (outpatient) healthcare services constitutes an essential part of the patient's right to receive medical care in another EU Member State. In principle, the so-called EU coordination regulations, issued in connection with the movement of workers within the Union, as well as the case law of the Court of Justice of the EU (CJEU) provide for patients' freedom of its reception. The 2011/24/EU directive on the application of patients' rights in cross-border healthcare was to "codify" the above-mentioned jurisprudence of the CJEU. It was also to establish rules for facilitating access to safe and high-quality cross-border healthcare in the Union. The article investigates whether freedom of patients in cross-border use of the very category of medical services does not experience limitations that would not be compatible with the existing EU law as a result of the adoption of the directive. For this purpose, both the process concerning work undertaken to adopt the directive as well as its final shape were examined. It leads to the conclusion that the latter diverges from the initial assumptions, based on the CJEU's case law which was favourable to patients. The assumptions of the Polish provisions, which are to implement the 2011/24/EU directive into the Polish law, were thoroughly examined in the article as well. The analysis leads to the conclusion that the proposed transposition of this Union's act to the Polish legal system is moving in the direction which is similar to the one of the directive that is in a detrimental one to Polish patients.

Opis:
Musical scales may be interpreted as specific increasing sequences of real numbers. Periodic scales, i.e. musical scales whose pattern is periodic, feature in this article. Of special interest are regular scales of which are given seven properties in four theorems which are new results, engaging the concepts of: the period of scale, the length of period of scale, the pattern, being homomorphous, a transposition and having the same key. This paper considers the idea of musical scales in general, hence it is possible to consider more complex musical scales not only in the twelve-tone equal temperament, and also proposes tools to investigate traditional musical scales as Messiaen’s Modes of limited transposition [4, p.58], the major and the minor scales as well as ancient Greek scales inherited by medieval Western music. The paper also goes beyond the notion of musical scale and contains new interesting result which gives way to determine when one can form a series from a shorter sequence of sounds by transposing the sequence.

The article briefly presents the history of the absorption of foreign proper names by the Polish language. The introduction outlines the key properties that differentiate proper names from common names. Then the three chief periods in the history of Polish are presented, along with their typical, dominant ways of absorbing proper names. These periods coincide with the periodization proposed by Z. Klemensiewicz (Old-Polish, Middle-Polish, New-Polish periods). The author discusses finally the main modes of absorbing proper names: phonetic-morphologic adaptation (e.g. Piotr, Agnieszka, Szymbark), adideation and reinterpretation (e.g. Bakchus – Beczkoś), translation (e.g. Felix – Szczęsny, Parva – Mała), transposition (e.g. Milano, Trier, Inez).

The opinion discusses the compatibility of the government bill with the Directive 2011/24/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council, pointing out in particular the need to remove from the project and clarify the vague concepts of questionable issues. The author shows that the bill imposes numerous restrictions on patients, related both to the need to obtain prior authorization of healthcare and spending limits for a given year, as well as the constraints of a formal nature that may hinder the patients from using cross‑border healthcare serivces. In conclusion, it she notes that the objective to reduce the proportion of patients who wait for treatment would not be achieved.

The objective of this paper is the investigation of the cyclic structure and permutation properties based on neighbor elements transposition properties and the properties of the permutation polyhedron. In this paper we consider special type of transpositions of elements in a permutation. A feature of these transpositions is that they corresponding to the adjacency criterion in a permutation polyhedron. We will investigate permutation properties with the help of the permutation polyhedron by using the immersing in the Euclidian space. Six permutation types are considered in correspondence with the location of arbitraży components. We consider the impact of the corresponding components on the cyclic structure of permutations depending on the type of a permutation. In this paper we formulate the assertion about the features of the impact of transpositions corresponding to the adjacency criterion on the permutations consisting of the one cycle. During the proof of statement all six types of permutations are considered and clearly demonstrated that only two types arrangement of the elements in the cycle contribute to the persistence a single cycle in the permutation after the impast of two transpositions. Research conducted in the Niven work, will be further employed in mathematical modeling and computational methods. Especially for solving combinatorial optimization problems and for the generation of combinatorial objects with a predetermined cyclic structure.

The article is devoted to the analysis of medieval onims identifying the Lithuanian-Rhutenian nobility in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. In the history of anthroponymy of this social class, the 15th century was marked by moving from one-name designation and gradual establishing of two-name system – first name and second denotation. Patronymic surnames, nicknames, place names performed the function of proto-surname. Anthroponyms under examination, formed in multiethnic state reflect multi-dimensional Baltic-Slavonic transpositions in phonetics and morphology.

У гiсторыi антрапанiмii для гэтай сацыяльнай групы ХV век быў перыядам адыходу ад намiнацыi аднайменнай i паступовага замацавання сiстэмы двухiменнай – iмя i другога iменнага акрэслення. Функцыю протаiмя маглi выконваць патронiмы, адапелятыўныя назвы тыпу мянушак, мясцовыя назвы. Даследуемыя антрапанiмы, сфармiраваныя ў варунках шматэтнiчнай дзяржавы, адлюстроўваюць рознаўзроўневыя балтыйска-славянскiя транспазiцыi ў вобласцi фанетыкi i марфалогii.
The article is devoted to the analysis of medieval onims identifying the Lithuanian-Rhutenian nobility in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. In the 18th century, the paintings of Greuze had much success. The literature took against these paintings. It transposed them in narrative texts. Diderot and Aubert, described paintings of Greuze by using the literary kind of the moral tale. Thus, they respected moral spirit of the painting of Greuze. But when paintings of Greuze were transposed in the novels, this moral spirit had been perverted : the novels respected stating of Greuze, but they used it to produce a different statement.

Opis:
This article deals with the analysis of the grammeme transposition as a manifestation of the grammar transposition and the whole language one generally. The grammeme transposition is one of realisation method of the grammatical transposition and is realised between components of different grammatical categories. The terms of realisation and the ways of identification of the grammeme transposition have been analysed at the work. The author referes to the scientific approach which is focused on a comprehensive study of the linguistic phenomena; the formal grammatical analysis; functional and communicative parameters as well as lexical-semantic parameters of grammatical categories and grammatical units. This approach to the analysis of linguistic facts is the conceptual framework for the researching of the grammeme transposition (as well as the language transposition generally).
Статья посвящена анализу граммемной транспозиции как одного из проявлений переходности в языке, разновидности грамматической транспозиции и языковой транспозиции в общем. Рассмотрен вопрос сути граммемной транспозиции, ее специфические черты и черты, объединяющие ее с иными видами грамматической транспозиции, проанализированы способы определения прямого и переносного, транспонированного, значения грамматической формы, контекстуальные средства транспозиции. Граммемная транспозиция в данной статье рассмотрена на примере грамматической категории времени глагола в украинском языке.
