Opis:
Training of social workers, based on Polish and EU standards of education, aims at their acquiring professional qualifications and competences. It also aims at the development of the profession in order to cope with the social challenges of the modern society. The analysed issue of the European training system of social workers is presented in the context of the legal regulations in selected European countries. In this context, it is worthwhile to learn the basic qualifications and competences of social workers obtained in the course of education in selected European countries. The presented study examines this issue with regard to Polish standards. There is a need on the one hand of the implementation of the UE legislation to Polish legislation, but on the other hand, every state has the right to apply its own solutions to the education of social workers, defining qualification standards of the profession. There is therefore a need for updating and developing educational standards in preparation for practicing the profession of social worker in Poland, using the standards of the EU, EU Member States and European states outside the EU. The article draws attention to these considerations, and tries to present these standards in the context of European and national educational standards.

In recent years, in view of the transformation in education in the Russian Federation, it has been necessary to introduce different technical facilities and new educational methods into the educational process. An introduction of training systems into the educational process concerns every educational method. New methods use various results from such fields as pedagogy, psychology, cybernetics, mathematics, and linguistics. Automated training systems consist of 3 components: informational, didactic, and ergonomic. This paper considers 2 components: didactic and ergonomic. They provide maximum learning with minimum energy consumption on the part of the trainee, in acceptable working conditions. As an example, this paper considers educational systems of calculus mathematics and mathematical geophysics realized in the Novosibirsk State University and Institute, Russian Federation.

Kształcenie pracowników socjalnych, oparte na krajowych i unijnych standardach edukacyjnych, ma na celu zdobycie przez nich kwalifikacji i kompetencji zawodowych oraz taki rozwój tej profesji, aby sprostała ona społecznym wyzwaniom współczesnego społeczeństwa. Analizowane zagadnienie europejskiego systemu kształcenia pracowników socjalnych jest przedstawione w kontekście regulacji prawnych w wybranych państwach europejskich. W tym kontekście wydaje się wartościowe poznanie podstawowych kwalifikacji i kompetencji pracowników socjalnych uzyskanych w ramach kształcenia w wybranych państwach europejskich. Zaprezentowane studium analizuje tę problematykę z uwzględnieniem polskich standardów. Istnieje potrzeba z jednej strony implementacji ustawodawstwa unijnego do polskiego prawodawstwa, a z drugiej każde państwo ma prawo do stosowania właściwych dla swojego systemu kształcenia pracowników socjalnych własnych rozwiązań, określając standardy kwalifikacji tej grupy zawodowej. Istnieje więc potrzeba aktualizacji i rozwoju standardów kształcenia w zakresie przygotowania do zawodu pracownika socjalnego w Polsce korzystając ze standardów unijnych, państw członkowskich UE oraz państw europejskich nienależących do UE. Prezentowany artykuł zwraca uwagę na te uwarunkowania i stara się przedstawić powyższe standardy w kontekście europejskich i krajowych standardów edukacyjnych.

Proces przygotowania kadry do obsługi systemów sterowania ruchem kolejowym może być prowadzony przy zastosowaniu komputerowych symulatorów odwzorowujących funkcje rzeczywistych obiektów. Artykuł przedstawia taką możliwość w odniesieniu do przygotowania zawodowego dyżurnych ruchu. Dodatkową zaletą prezentowanego symulatora jest zlokalizowanie go w internecie, co umożliwia korzystającym z niego ćwiczenie funkcji obsługi pulpitu w dowolnym czasie i w dowolnym miejscu. Może to być również elementem e-learningu zawodowego dla dyżurnych ruchu.
The process of staff training to handle the rail traffic control systems can be carried out using computer simulators imitating features of real objects. Such opportunity in regards to professional training for traffic controller has been presented in the article. An additional advantage of the presented simulator is its location in the internet. This location gives the users a chance to examine any function of desktop operation in any time and any place. It could also be an element of e-learning training for traffic controllers.

Opis:
The enhancement of surgical simulation tools is an important research study, to assist in the assessment and feedback of medical training practice. In this research, the Spring Tensor Model (STEM) has been used for laparoscopic end-effector navigation through obstacles and high-risk areas. The modelling of the surgical trainer as part of the laparoscopic simulator seeks to emulate the physical environment as a virtualized representation in the integrated infrastructure. Combining sensor network framework paradigms to a surgical knowledge-based construct demonstrates how STEM can enhance medical practice. The architectural hybridisation of the training framework has enabled the adaptation of STEM modelling techniques for a simulated laparoscopic training methodology. The primary benefit of the architecture is that this integration strategy has resulted in a seamless transition of the heuristic framework to be applied to surgical training.

This paper summarizes the experience and the learning outcomes of students of the "Informatics" specialty at the Episkop Konstantin Preslavsky University of Shumen (Bulgaria) on the problems of computer and network security as a component of their professional training. It is a continuous process starting from the "Computer steganography" course and turning into diploma papers, masters programs, specializations and PhDs in computer and network steganography. The outcome of this training would be bachelors and masters theses, practical activities of experimentation of stego software and steganology in a parallel computing environment, joint scientific publications of lecturers and students.

Tematem artykułu jest studium użycia układu FPGA do emulacji działania mikroprocesora w zastosowaniach dydaktycznych. Zaprezentowano proces powstawania rozwiązania od etapu analizy wymagań, przez architekturę do opisu implementacji, ze wskazaniem istotnych uwarunkowań użytkowych i technologicznych oraz kluczowych decyzji. Wynikiem przedstawionych prac jest moduł użyty po raz pierwszy w zajęciach laboratoryjnych w bieżącym semestrze.
The paper presents a case study of using the FPGA chip for emulating a microprocessor system for didactic purposes. Inside the FPGA chip there are implemented an open source Z80 processor core together with code and data memory blocks connected to the proces-sor bus as well as UART peripheral. The emulated processor bus behaviour is compliant with the original Z80 bus. Therefore, a student is able to connect external devices to the bus (by means of the appropriate connectors, three-state buffers and address decoding circuits). The UART peripheral, which is connected to the external USB/UART converter, is used by the NoICE commercial monitoring application. By means of this application, a student is able, among others, to load own program to the Z80 system, execute the code stepwise or in the free run mode, observe and modify content of the memory connected to the Z80 processor bus. Z80 processor core is shared between the NoICE monitor program and the user's code. The presented hardware platform allows for implementation of other 8-bit microprocessors as well. This way students may learn the modern System On Chip concept (SOC). Moreover, the module can be also used to teach the issues of logic circuit implementation inside the FPGA. The result of presented work is a versatile laboratory module, used since 2010 in the microprocessor systems laboratory at the Warsaw University of Technology.

The article presents a model of an automated shearer, independently designed and constructed within the project named "Model of an Automated Shearer” performed by the Students of the Machine Construction and Operation Science Society, which is operating at the Mining Mechanization Institute, Faculty of Mining and Geology of the Silesian University of Technology. This model serves as a teaching aid as well as an innovative way to enrich the educational process of future engineers in the mining industry.

In traditional karate, there are three elements of training – kihon, kata, kumite. Under these names are hidden sets of exercises relevant to the type of workout. As kihon (school of fundamental techniques) is defined as fundamental techniques of karate. Kata (formal training) are systems consisting of fragments without fighting enemies according to a predetermined pattern. Kumite (contact of hands) is a fight that is practiced in three forms - training, sports, out of sports. At the karate competition two competitors are played: kata and kumite. All styles of karate are characterized by separate rules of kumite. The reason for this is the different philosophy of masters of different styles concerning the fight and sporting duels outcome. Nowadays, there are four systems of kumite: semi-contact, knockdown, full-contact, mixed fighting. Karate, like other martial arts, compared to the contemporary condition of art’s survival through sport unifies and moves toward simpler forms. It is accompanied by impoverishment of the spiritual side. The solution to this problem is to find a balance between all aspects of karate: training for health, sports training, recreation and self-defense. The sport is not the cause of collapsing the culture of karate. People are responsible and their approach to training.
W tradycyjnym karate występują trzy elementy treningu – kihon, kata, kumite. Pod tymi nazwami kryją się zestawy ćwiczeń adekwatnych do rodzaju treningu. Mianem kihon (szkoła podstaw) określa się fundamentalne techniki karate. Kata (ćwiczenia formalne) są to układy składające się z fragmentów walki bez przeciwników, według z góry określonego schematu. Kumite (spotkanie rąk) to walka, która jest praktykowana w trzech formach – treningowej, sportowej, pozasportowej. Na zawodach karate rozgrywa się dwie konkurencji: kata i kumite. Wszystkie style karate charakteryzują się odrębnymi przepisami kumite. Powodem takiego stanu rzeczy jest odmienna filozofia mistrzów różnych stylów na temat walki i sportowego rozstrzygania pojedynków. Obecnie funkcjonują cztery systemy kumite: semi-conctact, knockdown, full-contact, mix fighting. Karate tak jak inne sztuki walki wobec współczesnego warunku przetrwania sztuki przez sport, unifikuje się i zmierza w kierunku form prostszych. Towarzyszy temu zubożenie strony duchowej. Rozwiązaniem tego problemu jest znalezienie równowagi między wszystkimi aspektami karate: treningiem dla zdrowia, treningiem sportowym, rekreacją i samoobroną. To nie sport jest przyczyną upadku kultury karate. Odpowiadają za to ludzie i ich podejście do treningu.

W artykule przedstawiona została koncepcja budowy badawczo-dydaktycznego poligonu Inteligentnych Systemów Transportowych. Poligon zostanie wybudowany w 2016 roku na ternie kampusu Akademii Techniczno-Humanistycznej w Bielsku-Białej. Będzie składać się z dwóch zasadniczych części: infrastruktury drogowej usytuowanej wzdłuż dróg wewnętrznych kampusu oraz centrum monitoringu zlokalizowanego w jednej z sal dydaktycznych. Koszty inwestycji zostaną pokryte z dotacji projakościowej na kierunek Transport, prowadzony na ATH w Bielsku-Białej. Dotacja jest nagrodą, jaką uzyskał Wydział Zarządzania i Transportu ATH w konkursie MNiSW na dofinansowanie podstawowych jednostek organizacyjnych uczelni w zakresie wdrażania systemów poprawy jakości kształcenia oraz Krajowych Ram Kwalifikacji. Poligon będzie unikatowym rozwiązaniem w skali kraju. Służyć będzie przede wszystkim jako pomoc dydaktyczna dla studentów. Będzie jednak także umożliwiał prowadzenie prac naukowo-badawczych i wdrożeniowych, w tym realizowanych na zlecenie firm i samorządów zainteresowanych Inteligentnymi Systemami Transportowymi.
The article presents a concept of building a research & didactic training ground of Intelligent Transport Systems. The training ground will be built in 2016 on the area of campus of University of Bielsko-Biala. It will consist of two main parts: road infrastructure built along the roads inside the campus and the monitoring centre located in one of the classrooms. Costs of the investment will be covered by proquality grants for the transport field, carried out at University of Bielsko-Biala. The grant is an award received by the Faculty of Management and Transport in the Ministerial competition for funding basic organizational units of universities as regards the implementation of systems to improve the quality of education and the National Qualifications Framework. The training ground will be a unique solution in the scale of the country. It will serve primarily as some didactic aid for students. However, it will also allow to do research and perform development works, including these carried out to the order of companies and local governments interested in Intelligent Transport Systems.

Zastosowanie systemów rzeczywistych, sterowników PLC i systemów wizualizacji zapewnia pełniejszy zakres szkolenia, włącznie z manualną obsługą urządzeń oraz realizacją celów w zakresie badania funkcji rzeczywistych systemów. Opierając się na sterownikach programowalnych, pulpitach operatorskich i systemie wizualizacji jest możliwe opracowanie układu symulacji dowolnego systemu. Przykładowo przedstawiono układ symulacji systemu elektroenergetycznego z napędem głównym elektrycznym.
The use of real systems, PLC controllers and visualization systems provides opportunities for wider range of training, including manual operation of devices, and reaching goals within the field of examining functions of real systems. On the basis of programmable controllers, control desks and visualization systems it is possible to develop any simulation system. An example of such an application is the stand simulating the power station with electric main propulsion of the ship.

In order to improve the operational reliability and service life of the main systems, components and assemblies (SCA) of railway transport (RT), it is necessary to timely detect (diagnose) their defects, including the use of the methods of intellectual analysis and data processing. One of the promising approaches to the synthesis of the SCA functional control system is the use of intelligent technology (INTECH) methods. This technology is based on maximizing the information capacity of an automated decision support system for detecting faults during its training.

The main goal of the article is to share some experimental view onto VR training applications, that allows for adaptation of the directed training scenario to a user being trained. The resulted application allows to the three scenarios being selected in any combination of ones, as well as the tasks modification through the input files, before a test starts. The program was developed in the Unity engine, using the modern UnityXR framework providing extensive support for leading virtual reality hardware. The resulting solution presents the possibility of an efficient training in Virtual Reality while modifying the course of training without any needs to recompile the program, and also it shows some positive values of using VR technology as a didactic solution.
Głównym celem artykułu jest podzielenie się eksperymentalnym spojrzeniem na aplikacje treningowe VR, które pozwalają na dostosowanie scenariusza szkolenia ukierunkowanego do szkolonego użytkownika. Powstała aplikacja pozwala na wybór trzech scenariuszy w dowolnej kombinacji, a także modyfikację zadań poprzez pliki wejściowe, przed rozpoczęciem testu. Program został opracowany w silniku Unity, z wykorzystaniem nowoczesnego frameworka UnityXR zapewniającego szerokie wsparcie dla wiodącego sprzętu wirtualnej rzeczywistości. Uzyskane rozwiązanie przedstawia możliwość efektywnego szkolenia z Wirtualnej Rzeczywistości przy jednoczesnej modyfikacji przebiegu szkolenia bez konieczności rekompilacji programu, a także pokazuje pozytywne walory wykorzystania technologii VR jako rozwiązania dydaktycznego.
