    Opis:
    The article presents an overview of some recent developments in the area of mathematical modelling of maintenance decisions with the use of time-delay and time-delay analysis. Thus, the literature overview in the investigated area is provided. The problem of time relations occurred in supply chain performance process is investigated. Later, there are presented obtained reliability analysis results in comparison with the knowledge about the case company present con-dition. The article investigates the possibilities of basic time delay model implementation in the area of logistic sys-tem of sixteen forklifts performance analysis.

    Opis:
    Single hop delay of SIP message going through SIP proxy server operating in carriers backbone network is being analyzed. Results indicate that message sojourn times inside SIP server in most cases do not exceed order of tens of milliseconds (99% of all SIP-I messages experience less than 21 ms of sojourn delay) but there were observed very large delays which can hardly be attributed to message specic processing procedures. It is observed that delays are very variable. Delay components distribution that is to identied are not exponentially distributed or nearly constant even per message type or size. The authors show that measured waiting time and minimum transit time through SIP server can be approximated by acyclic phase-type distributions but accuracy of approximation at very high values of quantiles depends on the number outliers in the data. This nding suggests that modeling of SIP server with queueing system of GjPHjc type may server as an adequate solution.

    The paper aims at presenting the influence of an open-loop time delay on the stability and tracking performance of a second-order open-loop system and continuoustime fractional-order PI controller. The tuning method of this controller is based on Hermite- Biehler and Pontryagin theorems, and the tracking performance is evaluated on the basis of two integral performance indices, namely IAE and ISE. The paper extends the results and methodology presented in previous work of the authors to analysis of the influence of time delay on the closed-loop system taking its destabilizing properties into account, as well as concerning possible application of the presented results and used models.

    In this paper, the problem of exponential stability for the standard form of the state control, realized in a networked control system structure, is studied. To deal with the problem of stability analysis of the event-time-driven modes in the networked control systems the delayed-dependent exponential stability conditions are reformulated and proven. Based on the delay-time dependent Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, exponential stability criteria are derived. These criteria are expressed as a set of linear matrix inequalities and their structure can be modified to use the bilinear inequality techniques.

    W artykule opisano zagadnienie rekonstrukcji atraktora na podstawie szeregu czasowego oraz przedstawiono oprogramowanie pozwalające wyznaczać jej parametry. Zagadnienie to zastosowano do rekonstrukcji atraktora Monarchy Safye na podstawie szeregów czasowych otrzymanych z numerycznego rozwiązania układu dynamicznego opisującego ten atraktor. Wskazano również na związek rekonstrukcji atraktora z analizą rekurencyjną szeregu czasowego.
    The paper describes the problem of attractor reconstruction on the basis of a time series and presents software allowing to specify the reconstruction parameters. The above problem has been applied to reconstruct the Monarch Safye attractor on the basis of time series obtained from a numerical solution of a dynamic system describing that attractor. It has also been indicated that there exists a relation between the attractor reconstruction and the recurrence analysis of a time series.

    W artykule przedstawiono wyniki analizy porównawczej losowych błędów estymacji czasu opóźnienia otrzymanego z funkcji korelacji wzajemnej i fazy wzajemnej gęstości widmowej mocy. Przeprowadzone symulacje wykazały, że dla małych wartości stosunku sygnał/szum (SNR) mniejsze wartości błędów uzyskuje się dla metody korelacyjnej. Metoda fazowa jest natomiast bardziej efektywna dla dużych wartości SNR, a jej zaletą jest możliwość wyznaczenia opóźnienia dla wybranych harmonicznych.
    The paper presents results of the comparative analysis of random errors of the time delay estimation (TDE) by means of the cross-correlation analysis and the phase of power density distribution. The simulations performed show that for the low level of signal-to-noise-ratio (SNR) the statistical errors of TDE obtained from the cross-correlation analysis are smaller than those from the phase method. However, the latter one is more efficient for higher SNR than the cross- correlation and can be applied to any selected harmonics.

    Opis:
    An active inerter-based suspension with acceleration feedback control is proposed in this paper, the time delay generated in the controllers and actuators is considered, which constitutes the time-delayed active inerter-based (TDA-IB) suspension. The dynamic equation of the TDA-IB suspension is established and is a neutral type of delay differential equation (NDDE) in which the time delay exists in the highestorder derivative. The stability analysis is conducted by calculating the number of unstable characteristic roots based on the definite integral stability method, the stable and unstable regions are determined. The effect of time delay and feedback gain on the dynamic performance of the TDA-IB suspension under harmonic, random, and shock excitations is studied in detail and compared with the parallel-connected inerterbased (PC-IB) and traditional suspensions. The results show that the TDA-IB suspension is asymptotically stable for smaller feedback gain and time delay, through increasing the feedback gain, the stable regions shrink, and a smaller time delay could cause the system to become unstable. Furthermore, the time delay could regulate the resonance peak around the unsprung mass natural frequency and generate multiple high-frequency resonance peaks. If the time delay is chosen appropriately and falls into the stable range, the TDA-IB suspension could improve the dynamic performance for the suspension stroke and dynamic tire load while having a deterioration for the vehicle body acceleration compared with the PC-IB and traditional suspensions.

    This paper addresses the problems of robust fault estimation and fault-tolerant control for Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy systems with time delays and unknown sensor faults. A fuzzy augmented state and fault observer is designed to achieve the system state and sensor fault estimates simultaneously. Furthermore, based on the information of on-line fault estimates, an observer-based dynamic output feedback fault-tolerant controller is developed to compensate for the effect of faults by stabilizing the resulting closed-loop system. Sufficient conditions for the existence of both a state observer and a fault-tolerant controller are given in terms of linear matrix inequalities. A simulation example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.

    Opis:
    W publikacji opisano sposoby analizy nieliniowych danych pomiarowych. Przedstawione zostały metody rekonstrukcji przestrzeni fazowej, skuteczne metody poszukiwania wartości zanurzenia wymiaru oraz czasu opóźnienia, a także graficzne metody analizy danych, polegające na konstruowaniu obrazów powrotu (Recurrence Plot) oraz wzajemnych obrazów powrotu (Cross Recurrence Plot). W artykule zaprezentowano również metodę analizy ilościowej sygnałów powracających (Recurrence Quantification Analysis), jako instrument pomocny do określenia parametrów otrzymanego obrazu (a poprzez to także analizowanego układu). Metody graficzne wykorzystano do klasyfikacji pojazdów samochodowych na podstawie sygnałów pomiarowych pochodzących z rzeczywistego systemu pomiarowo-archiwizującego.
    This paper presents special methods of nonlinear time series analysis. Methods for computing the embedding dimension end delay time in phase space reconstruction are shown. A (Cross) Recurrence Plots (CRPs) is proposed as an effective tool for analysis of data series. Applying the CRPs to analysis of car-stream measurement data enables detection, recognition and classification of moving vehicles in traffic.
