    Niniejszy artykuł poświęcony jest roli, jaką literatura i teatr odgrywają w edukacji elementarnej. Dynamika zmian zachodzących w systemach oświaty oraz zróżnicowanie postulatów kierowanych pod adresem współczesnej edukacji sprawiają, iż przywołane w tytule zagadnienia podlegają często marginalizacji – zauważalnej zarówno w sferze planowania pracy dydaktyczno-wychowawczej nauczycieli, jak i w obszarze praktyki edukacyjnej, jaką realizuje szkoła. Niniejsze opracowanie, przywołując najważniejsze procesy zachodzące w życiu dziecka, służy zwróceniu uwagi na dydaktyczny, poznawczy i wychowawczy, ale także terapeutyczny i wspierający potencjał literatury i teatru oraz możliwości jego wykorzystania w edukacji elementarnej dziecka zdrowego i dotkniętego chorobą.
    This article is devoted to the role and the meaning of literature and theatre in elementary education. The dynamics of changes in education systems and demands directed at contemporary education make the issues referred to in the title marginalized, which is noticeable in the planning of the teachers’ methodology, as well as in the area of educational practice implemented at school. This study, citing the most important processes occurring in a child’s life, pays attention to the educational and cognitive, but also therapeutic and supportive, potential of the literature and theatre and the possibilities of their usage in elementary education of the healthy and illness-affected child.

    The presented text reflects on the actions, understanding and use of terms related in particular to psychological and pedagogical support and pedagogical therapy and the role of specialists in educational institutions and inclusive teams of students. The considerations refer to the literature of both new and older one in order to compare the different conceptual and implementation of the assistance given to students with the respect to their needs. In conclusion, there have been presented a comparison of the support provided in chosen countries to the students with different developmental potentials, including disabilities, in inclusive education. It was meant in order to draw attention to specific solutions and the terminology used when psychological and pedagogical support is provided for pupils/students within the inclusive school.

    Wstęp. Autor artykułu przedstawia, na podstawie badań, korzyści z zastosowania dogoterapii we wspomaganiu rozwoju i rehabilitacji dzieci. Materiał i metody. W badaniach przeprowadzonych na terenie województwa świętokrzyskiego zastosowano metodę indywidualnych przypadków, posłużono się techniką wywiadu, którego udzieliło siedem osób (dwie terapeutki i pięcioro rodziców), które opisały przypadki siedmiorga dzieci uczestniczących w procesie dogoterapii. Dzieci (Kamila, Karolina, Karol, Bartek, Mateusz, Sylwia, Miłosz) były w przedziale wiekowym 6-11 lat i każde z nich przejawiało trudności w prawidłowym rozwoju lub było dotknięte niepełnosprawnością. Wyniki. Badania ukazały, że głównymi korzyściami z zastosowania dogoterapii jest zdecydowana poprawa w różnych sferach: sferze społecznej (kontaktów interpersonalnych), sferze samooceny (rozwinięta śmiałość i odwaga), sferze senso-motorycznej (mówieniu, czytaniu, poruszaniu się, kontrolowaniu emocji), sferze motywacji do działania czy rozwinięcia poczucia odpowiedzialności. Wnioski. Z zebranego materiału badawczego wynika, że obecność czworonoga na zajęciach pozwala dziecku odprężyć się, wyciszyć, obniża poziom lęku oraz kształtuje trwałą więź. Należy pamiętać, że do zajęć dogoterapeutycznych nie mogą być skierowani pacjenci posiadający otwarte rany na ciele, alergię na sierść psa, przejawiający paniczny lęk wobec zwierząt, pacjenci agresywni, z ADHD, pacjenci ze schorzeniami psychicznymi. Z tych powodów wybór dogoterapii jako metody wspomagającej rehabilitację powinien być wcześniej potwierdzony odpowiednimi informacjami na temat stanu zdrowia psychicznego pacjenta, poziomu jego agresji oraz występowania innych cech niepożądanych.
    Introduction. The author of the article presents, on the basis of research, the benefits of using dog therapy in supporting the development and rehabilitation of children. Material and methods. In the research conducted in Świętokrzyskie Province, the method of individual cases was applied, the interview technique was employed with interviews given by seven people (two therapists and seven parents), who described cases of seven children participating in dog therapy. Children (Kamila, Karolina, Karol, Bartek, Mateusz, Sylwia, and Miłosz) were in the age group of 6-11 years. Each of them manifested difficulties in normal development or were affected by disability. Results. The research showed that the main benefit of applying dog therapy is a definite improvement in various spheres: the social sphere (interpersonal contacts), self-esteem (development of boldness and courage), the sensorimotor sphere (speaking, reading, walking, controlling emotions), motivation to take action or to develop a sense of responsibility. Conclusions. The collected research material demonstrates that the presence of a dog in the classroom allows the child to relax and calm down. It also lowers the level of anxiety and shapes a lasting bond. It should be noted that patients with open wounds on the body, allergic to dog’s fur, having obsessive fear of animals, aggressive ones, patients having mental disorders or ADHD, cannot be referred for dog therapy activities. For these reasons, choosing dog therapy as a method of rehabilitation should be previously confirmed by appropriate information on the patient’s mental health, the level of their aggression and other undesirable traits.

    This article brings up the issue of communication difficulties for people with various disabilities. In the theoretical part it widely explains the rise and development of alternative and supportive methods of communication, and it describes various forms of non-verbal means of communicating. The second part of this article constitutes a case study of a thirteen-year-old mute girl who was taught communicating with application of non-verbal methods, and it also includes a short description of the methods used in working with the child. The course of therapeutic action is to be found in “The Supporting Materials, Didactic Visual aids and Reports” Logopedii Silesiany part.

    One of the important tasks of a modern school is to provide psychological and pedagogical assistance to students who experience difficulties. A wide range of dysfunctional behaviors hindering relationships with others may lead to social exclusion of adolescents. An important solution could be the application of art-therapy-based methods in the work with such students, making use of the therapeutic qualities of particular fields of art in the process of influencing their personality and emotional sphere. In the study presented herein, an attempt was made to determine the place of art therapy in solving the problems of teenagers in the opinion of the participants of art therapy classes and their teachers.
    Jednym z istotnych zadań współczesnej szkoły jest zapewnienie pomocy psychologiczno-pedagogicznej uczniom przejawiającym problemy. Duża rozpiętość zachowań dysfunkcyjnych utrudniających relacje z innymi może w konsekwencji prowadzić do wykluczenia społecznego dorastających. Istotnym rozwiązaniem wydaje się zastosowanie w pracy z uczniami metod opartych na arteterapii, wykorzystujących terapeutyczne walory poszczególnych dziedzin sztuki w procesie oddziaływania na osobowość i sferę emocjonalną nastolatków. W zaprezentowanych badaniach podjęto próbę ustalenia miejsca arteterapii w rozwiązywaniu problemów nastolatków – w opinii uczestników zajęć arteterapeutycznych i ich nauczycieli.

    The article concerns the problem of early support of child development in the case of speech disorders of central origin. It constitutes the case study of a 6-year-old boy with motor-sensory alaly. The author evaluates the language and communication possibilities of the child. The complex characteristics of child’s speech is conducted with the reference to all subsystems of language (phonological, morphological, lexical and syntactic). The paper also presents the program and effects of speech therapy and indicates the directions of activities in proceedings subsequent stages.
    Artykuł dotyczy problematyki wczesnego wspomagania rozwoju dziecka w przypadku zaburzeń mowy pochodzenia centralnego. Stanowi studium przypadku sześcioletniego chłopca z alalią motoryczno-sensoryczną. Autorka poddaje ocenie możliwości językowe i komunikacyjne dziecka. Dokonuje charakterystyki jego mowy w odniesieniu do wszystkich podsystemów języka (fonologicznego, morfologicznego, leksykalnego i składniowego). W opracowaniu przedstawiono również program i efekty terapii logopedycznej oraz wskazano kierunki działań w kolejnych etapach postępowania.
