    Opis:
    The principal goal of psychological science is not application but theory. This is because a good theory yields accurate predictions and control, two preconditions for applications. Thus, good psychological science is one that produces good theories. Against the background of reproducibility crisis and the apparent non-existence of an integrated subfield of psychology addressing those issues, I submit psychological theoretics (or psycho-theoretics) as a potential solution. The scope of psychological theoretics is outlined and distinguished from other closely related subfields. It was argued that psychological theoretics has the potential to make a unique contribution to the advancement of good psychological science. It is also worth noting that even if the global community of psychologists might not be ready for psychological theoretics as a new subfield, the reforms proposed under its rubrics would still remain relevant today and in the future. Indeed, the question of whether it is completely new will surely be the subject of scientific debate.

    W ostatnich latach w psychologii pracy można zaobserwować wyraźny wzrost zainteresowania zjawiskami pozytywnymi. Jednym z nich są zachowania inicjowane przez pracowników, zmierzające do przekształcania warunków pracy w celu zwiększenia satysfakcji z pracy oraz jej dopasowania do potrzeb i zdolności. Zachowania te są nazywane kształtowaniem pracy (job crafting). Wraz rozwojem badań nad tym zagadnieniem powstawały, a następnie ewoluowały, jego odmienne koncepcje teoretyczne i definicje. Celem niniejszej pracy było ich usystematyzowanie i przeprowadzenie krytycznej analizy. Poddano analizie 5 różnych modeli teoretycznych kształtowania pracy: Wrzesniewski i Dutton, Tims i Bakkera, Zhang i Parker, Bindl i wsp. oraz Kooij i wsp. W publikacji przedstawiono różnice pomiędzy tymi podejściami oraz mocne strony i punkty krytyczne każdego z nich. Med. Pr. 2021;72(4):423–436
    In recent years, there has been a clear increase in the interest in positive phenomena in work psychology. One of such issues is employee-initiated behavior aimed at transforming working conditions in order to increase job satisfaction and match it to one’s needs and abilities. These behaviors are referred to as job crafting. With the development of research on this issue, different theoretical concepts and definitions of job crafting were created and then evolved. The aim of the work is to systematize them and perform a critical analysis. The article analyzes 5 theoretical models of job crafting: Wrzesniewski and Dutton’s model, Tims and Bakker’s model, Zhang and Parker’s model, Bindl et al.’s model, and Kooij et al.’s model The publication presents the differences between these models, and strengths and critical points of each of them.     Opis:
    The article deals with historical and theoretical and methodological foundations of modern methodology of teaching psychology in the context of special psychologists’ education. Historical teaching experience of indicated discipline in domestic and foreign institutions of higher education is reviwed. The present historical and pedagogical analysis of students’ training and introduction of modern methodology of teaching psychology as a training discipline of penitentiary, special and clinical psychologists initiated by Academician of NAPS of Ukraine, Viktor Synov and his scientific school is delightened. The nature and structure of discipline are viewed. Particular attention is paid to finding and developing of the optimal set of methods of its providing, developing programs and definition of developed program’s efficiency. The practical results of scientists’ work in defining spheres are analyzed. The results of the experimental study of the motivational component of the professional readiness of psychologists (special, clinical) to work on a specialty in the structure of professional training are highlighted. The prospects for further research in the context of improving the psychological preparation of personnel for various types of special schools are outlined.

    Zrozumienie mechanizmów i czynników odpowiedzialnych za zachowanie kierowcy na drodze jest przedmiotem nieustającego zainteresowania psychologów transportu, lekarzy medycyny pracy i inżynierów. Modele zachowania kierowcy stanowią punkt wyjścia pozwalający na zrozumienie tych mechanizmów i lokalizację czynników stanowiących barierę w optymalnym funkcjonowaniu na drodze. Pozwalają one również systematyzować wiedzę na temat czynników odpowiedzialnych za zachowania kierowcy, a przez to są punktem wyjścia formułowania hipotez empirycznych lub diagnostycznych.     Understanding of mechanisms and factors responsible for the driver behavior on the road is the subject of ongoing interest to transportation psychologists, occupational doctors and engineers. Models of driver behavior are a key point for the understanding the mechanisms and factors which may cause limitations to the optimal functioning on the road. They also systematize knowledge about the factors responsible for the behavior of the driver and thus constitute a starting point for formulating empirical or diagnostic hypotheses.
