    The purpose of this article is to present the concept of three-fold theology (theologia tńpartite) combining mythical, civil and natural aspects, a theory abundantly discussed in Greek and Roman literature, spanning sources from the first century BCE (Plutarch, Ps.-Plutarch, Dio Chrysos-tom, Varro) to the Christian authors of the fourth and fifth centuries CE (Eusebius, Augustine, Tertullian). The paper also inquires into the origin of the theological trichotomy of theology, assessing those writings in terms of stoic influences, sińce stoicism is most likely the framework within which the theory first arose. Towards the end, the paper recounts how the three types of theology fiinctioned in the culture of Greece.

    Deterministic chaos counts among noteworthy fields of natural science. Its truly extraordinary attributes enable not only various interpretations from the point of view of predictability but also interesting consequences from the sphere of theologia naturalis. The situation starts to be interesting, if we figure explication of influence of God on a human through Augustine Aurelius in possible unpredictability in a sense of impossibility to predict future of a physical state on a macro level. Interconnection of both of these theories provides interesting conclusions.

    The article examines the figure and the teaching of the famous Byzantine theologian, Hesychast and Church leader of the fourteenth century St. Gregory Palamas. The author considers the problem of the intratrinitarian being of God in the Palamas’ doctrine and analyses the key characteristics of this “hidden” dimension of the Holy Trinity. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the apophatic approaches in answering the question: how can God, who is actively present in the created world and filling it, be at the same time completely ontologically removed from created reality. In this context the author analyses the key notions which express the “intradivine” transcendence of God’s being: ousia, hipostasis, intratrinitarian relation, theologia, oikonomia.
    W niniejszym artykule autor analizuje nauczanie św. Grzegorza Palamasa, znanego bizantyńskiego teologa, hezychasty i przywódcy duchowego Kościoła XIV wieku. Autor omawia problem wewnątrztrynitarnego bytu Boga w nauczaniu Palamasa i analizuje atrybuty kluczowe tego „ukrytego” wymiaru Trójcy Świętej. Szczególną uwagę zwraca na prezentację podejścia apofatycznego w odpowiedzi na pytanie: w jaki sposób Bóg, który jest aktywnie obecny w świecie stworzonym i napełnia go, może jednocześnie być całkowicie oddalony od świata stworzonego pod względem ontologicznym? W tym kontekście autor analizuje kluczowe pojęcia, które wyrażają wewnątrztrynitarną transcendencję Bożego bytu: istota, substancja, wewnątrztrynitarna relacja, teologia, ekonomia zbawienia.

    An important help in finding the right place for the liturgy in theology and the manner of practicing theology is the new document of the Congregation for the Clergy The Gift of the Priestly Vocation. Ratio Fundamentalis Institutionis Sacerdotalis issued on  December 16, 2016. This document provides a new order for the subjects taught in seminaries. Sacred Scripture is put in the first place as the soul of theology (Dei Verbum 24). It is followed immediately by the study of the sacred liturgy, which “must be considered a fundamental discipline.” This is because Scripture and the liturgy constitute a living theology, meaning that they are the first and primary locus for all of theology. The fact that the liturgy immediately follows Sacred Scripture is also influenced by a new, in-depth understanding of the liturgy found in the Catechism of the Catholic Church and among contemporary theologians (J. Corbon, A.M. Triacca, A. Schmemann, J. Ratzinger) and a deeper connection of the liturgy with Divine Revelation and its transmission. The author of the article recognizes the particular significance of liturgical theology focused on the joint presentation of the three components of the liturgy, which are the salvific mystery of God, the liturgical celebration and the Christian life. Liturgical theology can be done from the perspective of each of these elements of the liturgy (Mysterium-Actio-Vita). Liturgical theology is the most perfect fulfillment of the liturgical perspective of theology.

    Opis:
    Both in his comments on the Sententiae of Peter Lombard and in his Summa Theologiae, Thomas Aquinas uses the term philosophia prima. Although it is not used by Aquinas frequently, this term marks the technical sense which links theologia and metaphysica as the first sciences with the second sciences, like physics. Against this background, this article attempts to clarify: (1) the need of first philosophy to exist, (2) the Thomistic position which claims that there is only one supreme science which, though possessing three names, has God as its only subiectum, and (3) the meaning of the term philosophia prima.

    The purpose of the paper is to present civil theology of Cicero in the light of Varro’s tripartite view of theology (mythical, natural, civil). The author examines certain excerpts from Cicero’s philosophical works, particularly The Republic and The Laws, in which this politic and philosopher presents his concept of civile theology as the traditional religion of the Romans influenced by natural theology.

    Ważną pomocą w znalezieniu właściwego miejsca liturgii w teologii i sposobu uprawiania teologii jest nowy dokument Kongregacji ds. Duchowieństwa Stolicy Apostolskiej z 16 grudnia 2016 r., zatytułowany Dar powołania do kapłaństwa. Ratio fundamentalis institutionis sacerdotalis. Dokument ten podaje nową kolejność przedmiotów wykładanych w seminariach duchownych. Na pierwszym miejscu znajduje się Pismo Święte, będące duszą teologii (por. DV 24), a zaraz po nim studium świętej liturgii, która „winna być uznana za dyscyplinę podstawową”. Stało się tak dlatego, że Biblia wraz z liturgią są teologią żywą, teologią pierwszą i podstawowym locus dla całej teologii. Wpływ na to ma też nowe, pogłębione rozumienie liturgii w Katechizmie Kościoła Katolickiego i u współczesnych teologów (J. Corbon, A.M. Triacca, A. Schmemann, J. Ratzinger) oraz głębsze powiązanie liturgii z Objawieniem Bożym i jego przekazem. Autor dostrzega szczególne znaczenie teologii liturgicznej, skoncentrowanej na łącznym ukazywaniu trzech składowych elementów liturgii, czyli zbawczego misterium Boga, celebracji liturgicznej i życia chrześcijańskiego. Może być ona sprawowana z perspektywy każdego z elementów liturgii. Teologia liturgiczna jest najdoskonalszym spełnieniem liturgicznej perspektywy teologii.

    For many Christian communities, St. Paul the Apostle was not only the founder and teacher but above all a father. The Gospel proclaimed in the power of the Holy Spirit, created a truly father-son relationship between him and the young local Churches. Its intensity and character can be particularly seen in the letters sent by the Apostle to the community in Corinth, especially when the Corinthians were moving away from true faith.

    Julius Bernhard von Rohr (1688–1742) was alawyer by profession and an amateur but competent botanist. A religious man, he considered the study of nature to be a way of appreciating it as a work of God to find a way to God or to deepen one’s religious faith. This combination of natural science and theology found the best expression in his Phyto-Theologia in which he described in detail the botanical world to show it as an expression of divine power, wisdom, and goodness. He described in great detail various plants, their parts, the uses of plants for humans and animals, and the purposefulness manifesting itself in all aspects of the flora. Von Rohr addressed the problem of theodicy as related to the botanical world and the problem of an interplay between theology and science.
    Julius Bernhard von Rohr (1688–1742), choć był z wykształcenia prawnikiem, zajmował się także – amatorsko, ale kompetentnie – botaniką. Jako człowiek religijny uważał, że badanie przyrody prowadzi do uznania jej jako dzieła Bożego i jest sposobem na odnalezienie drogi do Boga lub na pogłębienie wiary. To połączenie nauk przyrodniczych i teologii znalazło najlepszy wyraz w jego Fitoteologii, gdzie szczegółowo opisał świat botaniki i ukazał go jako wyraz Bożej mocy, mądrości i dobroci. W tym dziele przedstawił bardzo szczegółowo różne rodzaje roślin, ich elementy oraz zastosowanie na potrzeby ludzi i zwierząt. Podjął również zagadnienie celowości przejawiającej się we wszystkich aspektach flory. Von Rohr zajął się ponadto problemem teodycei w odniesieniu do świata botanicznego oraz kwestią wzajemnego oddziaływania teologii i nauki.
