Opis:: The article is an attempt to look at the ludic terchniques of teaching grammar of the Polish language as a foreign language. On the basis of long practice and huge experience, the author fishes out some of the most interesting and helpful techniques when working with students. It consists of a set of clues of how to use materials accessible in the Internet, newspapers and textbooks in order to adjust them to one’s own teaching targets and also how to create unique teaching toolbox. The article encourages the Polish language lectors both to search for new and individual ways of teaching grammar to adjust them to the needs, expectations, language level and predisposition of students.

Opis:: The article deals with the Orthodox cult of Saint Tryphon in the Balkans, focusing mainly on the liturgical and ritual holiday held in Bulgaria on the 1st, and in Macedonia on the 14th of February. The analysis of these cases has been carried out on the basis of the field study conducted in 2016 in Kavadarci and Negotino towns, belonging to the winery region of Tikves. The environment for that research was set by the Greek tradition of celebrating the Dionysus holidays, particularly the Lenaia. All the documentation collected by the authors include the following manifestations of the cult: 1. Liturgy and Orthodox Church rituals, 2. Rituals conducted in the winaries, 3. Ludic forms of Saint Tryphon’s cult. On the basis of this material, it has been attempted to reconstruct the course of the ceremony in the historical, religious and ethnographical aspect. The conclusions drawn from this study make it possible to understand that many Christian elements of the celebration in honor of Dionysus refer to the pagan traditions adjusted to the Orthodox or ritual needs. It proves the longevity of ancient tradition in the contemporary Balkan folklore and also makes it applicable in the comparative research concerning cultural sciences in their broadest scope.

Opis:: This article shows how to use the fragments of the sitcom Świat według Kiepskich in teaching Polish as a foreign language. The author presents and analyzes the ludic elements of the sitcom. The material was divided into eight groups: rhymes, proverbs and idioms, intertextuality, lexis of young people, phonetics, neologisms, humorous names and ambiguity.
W artykule pokazano, jak w nauczaniu języka polskiego można wykorzystać fragmenty serialu Świat według Kiepskich. Autor prezentuje oraz analizuje elementy ludyczne pochodzące z tego serialu. Materiał w publikacji podzielony został na osiem grup tematycznych, tj.: rymowanki; wykorzystanie przysłów i frazeologizmów; intertekstualność; leksyka młodzieżowa; zestawienie nazwiska z wyrazem, od którego ono pochodzi; neologizmy; nawiązanie do nazw własnych i wieloznaczność.

Opis:: The Ludic strategy, an approach to foreign language teaching (FLT), popularised by the present author since the 1990’s which acknowledges the value of a humanistic approach, yet also emphasises an emergence of positive feelings, while engaging in the ludic tasks for FLT purposes, is in line with the claims of positive psychology. For the analysis the most popular model of the well-being theory, Seligman’s PERMA model will be used. Referring to research in FLT on language competence, I will analyse the benefits of applying LS in the FL classroom, and by using the PERMA model I will show that LS can be treated as a useful tool for FLT congruent with the claims of positive psychology, and that the model can be used in planning FLT research.

Opis:: In this text, I discuss a phenomenon of archaeological festivals in Poland. In my opinion, in many aspects, they represent signum temporis of present times, being a place where tendencies, topics and phenomena characteristic for our era cumulate, intertwine and coexist. Therefore, I think that the attempts to explain the phenomenon, popularity and current significance of archaeological festivals only through emphasising their educational and popularising role are insufficient and require adopting a far broader cultural perspective.

Opis:: Artykuł podejmuje aspekty związane ze współczesnym przeobrażeniem kategorii humoru w socjolekcie i zwyczajach komunikacyjnych młodzieży. Materiał egzemplifikacyjny stanowią teksty zaczerpnięte z języka i dyskursu młodzieżowego prowadzonego w różnych „kanałach” i typach komunikacji zapośredniczonej cyfrowo (w tym bazy danych do Młodzieżowego Słowa Roku). W przemiany kategorii humoru jako pokłosia zjawisk kulturowych, np. popkulturowej ludyczności (kultura beki) i nowej karnawalizacji, filozofii xD, apoteozy trywialności i ekstremalności doświadczeń, wpisują się realizacje językowe jako warianty gry z normami języka ogólnego, powagą i wzorami uczestnictwa w kulturze.
This article addresses aspects related to the current transformation of the category of humour in the sociolect and communication styles of the young people. The data are exemplified by digital discourses of the young taken from different channels and types of digital-oriented communication (including the database of the Youth Word of the Year). These language realisations, understood as variants of playing with the norms of language and the patterns of participation in culture, are embedded in the current transformation of the category of humour as a result of cultural phenomena such as the ludic aspects of pop-culture, the new carnivalisation of the xD philosophy, the apotheosis of triviality and experiences of extremeness.

Opis:: The article raises a question of research on children’s literature led in Poland and stemmed from Jerzy Cieślikowski’s conception that refers to the theory of fun acivities by French culture expert Roger Caillois. The authoress considers particularly useful Caillois’s essey entitled Ludzie a gry i zabawy (Le jeux et les hommes, 1958, polish translation 1973), in which he set out the typology of different kinds of jollity and provided polish researchers with a very wide questioning context. She also itroduces Cieślikowski’s concept as well as analyses the akin thoughts. Furthermore, she acquaints the reader with the effect of her own study on literature for children which is based on Caillois’s typology. She comes with her own proposals of archetypal perceptive models derived fromludic functions of literature for children.
