The Christological dogma points out the mutual relation between Christology and anthropology. An anthropological element of Christology can be derived from the biblical teaching on two Adams. Having considered the documents of the International Theological Commission, which mention the Adam-Christ typology, the author draws conclusions that are also true regarding other theological treatises and correlation between them, namely, protology, anthropology, Christology, soteriology and eschatology. The article also shows how the First Adam and the Second Adam in fluence the history of a single man, as well as the whole humanity. An antitype and type may be considered two determinants that influence the history of the old and new mankind.

Opis:
The purpose of this article is to describe the relationship between parliamentarism and the social teaching of the Catholic Church, with a special emphasis on pastoral, social and political activities of cardinal Adam Stefan Sapieha. The system of parliamentary government is a system of government in which the legislative authority in the form of parliament passes laws and controls the executive authority, which is wielded by the president together with the government. An important aspect of this system of government is the interpenetration of these two authorities and their mutual complementing, which is evident even in the possibility of bringing forward bills by the executive. The view of the parliamentary system held by cardinal Adam Stefan Sapieha was based on the social attitude which was represented by the Christian Democrats. The political system accepted by the Christian Democrats was democracy, which very clearly demonstrates all positive forms of local government’s actions and the principle of subsidiarity. The basis of this assumption is that it is on the lowest levels of society where the common good based on social solidarity can be realized. The Archbishop of Krakow perceived the political, social and economic issues through the prism of the Catholic Church. He believed that the task of the state is to protect society against the moral decay of anti-Christian totalitarian systems. According to Sapieha, the state should act as a servant in relation to the nation. The Metropolitan claimed also that the vision of the relationship between social ranks, contrary to the socialist vision, was not burdened with a conflict. Sapieha saw the danger of drastic social inequality, but definitely spoke out against socialist and communist solutions. The cardinal emphasized the accent which should be laid on the development of all forms of civic government. So the ideal state is a decentralized state, in which citizens, due to rights and activities taken up by themselves, have an influence over the governments. According to Sapieha, a democratic state of law should respect political pluralism based on the principle of subsidiarity and justice, as well as sovereignty, and above all – the principle of parliamentary majority.

Opis:
The article concerns the film Pan Tadeusz (1928) by Ryszard Ordyński, and issues related to the adaptation process and political reception of Mickiewicz’s artwork. In the first part of the text, the author discusses the application of 19th-century romantic ideas by the Sanacja authorities as part of their historical policy. The cult of Romanticism was realized on many levels, including everyday life as well as literature, art and journalism. Its functioning was conditioned by the existence of a holistic romantic narrative and the possibilities it brought in terms of building the continuity of tradition in social awareness. These possibilities resulted from the patriotic staffage, which over time surrounded the work of romantic bards. The second part of the text describes the tendencies dominating in Polish cinema at that time, the most important of which are the politicisation and the domination of love themes. These directions influenced the final shape of the films made in the 1920s. Afterwards, R. Ordyński’s film was presented, taking into account the political and cultural background mentioned above. The production of the picture aroused great interest among the public opinion and reviewers. The subject of discussion at that time was fidelity of the film adaptation to the literary prototype. In the article, Pan Tadeusz was presented as an example of an artwork committed to ideology. The screen trivialization of the content of Mickiewicz’s poem took place at the level of creation of a world that was simplified and devoid of romantic ambivalence, as well as in meticulous presenting details at the cost of more significant elements of the work, and intentional lowering of the level of presented content. In this way, Pan Tadeusz was a commercial undertaking, and at the same time it participated in the process of a kind of social engineering. It was a tool for building national consciousness in a reborn Polish state and, in a way, for reigning souls.
