This article describes a new mathematical software usage model, which includes the effect of the set of global and external variables values for further analysis of multi-test scenarios to improve the effectiveness of the testing software. This model is represented as a graph of transitions and a set of variables with respective sets of equivalence classes. The proposed approach is particularly relevant for computational algorithms with complex logic.

This paper presents a description of an agile testing process in a medium size software project that is developed using Scrum. The research methods used is the case study were as follows: surveys, quantifiable project data sources and qualitative project members opinions were used for data collection. Challenges related to the testing process regarding a complex project environment and unscheduled releases were identified. Based on the obtained results, we concluded that the described approach addresses well the aforementioned issues. Therefore, recommendations were made with regard to the employed principles of agility, specifically: continuous integration, responding to change, test automation and test driven development. Furthermore, an efficient testing environment that combines a number of test frameworks (e.g. JUnit, Selenium, Jersey Test) with custom-developed simulators is presented.

The authors outline the history of state examinations for certification in Polish as a foreign language, focusing on their organization and structure in Poznań. In particular, the results of the Poznań-based examinations are compared with the average results of all exams carried out in Poland and abroad, proving that, basically, they do not differ much from one another. A detailed analysis of the results makes it also possible to formulate certain postulates related to the preparation for the examination with certification for the School of Polish Language and Culture for Foreign Students at Adam Mickiewicz University that may be taken into consideration in the future.

Opis:
Computerized adaptive testing is a form of computer-based test that adapts to the student's ability level. System successively selects questions for the purpose of maximizing the precision of the exam based on what is known about the examinee from previous questions in order to determine whether the answer given was not accidental. In turn, the task of knowledge structuralization is to organize the elements of the educational program to set up a hierarchical structure. This paper proposes a combination of two solutions - the concept of applying structuralization to students knowledge adaptive testing process. The knowledge structuralization in adapting testing process has a purpose of choosing the right proportions of questions from a set of controlled topics, so that each of them was well assessed and, at the same time, taking under consideration the computed level of student achievements. Such task is very difficult, even impossible to achieve with a small and a deficient tasks bank. Using well-defined relationship between the teaching program and question bank, capabilities of the automatic modification of test tasks easiness factor, and thus excluding from the bank questions which do not contribute anything to the process of assessment, and finally using the appropriate selection and configuration of testing algorithm, teacher can achieve very high possibility to create varied adaptive tests. Presented in this paper algorithms are constantly tested and developed by the author, but even now their usage in monitoring teaching process gives very reliable results, unattainable with classic computerized testing, becoming an alternative to time-consuming oral examination.

It discusses the two formal models of software testing by the concept of a black box. In the first model assumes a non-zero probability of not removing the detected error. In the second model assumes also non-zero probability to introduce additional of error, so-called secondary error. In both cases the systems of ChapmanKolmogorov differential equations was formulated. Solving them was obtained formulas to enable an estimate the expected number of errors remaining in the software after end of testing and estimation of the expected duration of the process to complete software testing them.

The method of the statistical data sets uniformity analysis based on Kolmogorov-Smirnov test is presented. The procedure of statistical data sets uniformity testing is proposed to be applied to the empirical sojourn times in operation states coming from the operation processes of the complex technical systems. The proposed procedure is practically applied to the analysis and uniformity testing of the maritime ferry spring and Winter sets of realizations of the sojourn times in particular operation states.

The purpose of this article was to show two thing thermal issues theory and thermovision tests in the laboratory. The main idea of this article was to describe the thermal issues theory of interesting problem base on the thermovision tests of new type electric brake prototype. After the creation of new product the designer needed to know how behave the prototype of the brake during tests with higher energy which could increase the temperatures on the object in our case of the electric brake prototype. The first step in that kind of issues was thermal analysis, which is very useful to define and subscribe the thermal issues. The second step it was measurement of the temperature, which was really significant during the electric brake tests. It was really important to check the temperature of engines. If there was some influence to the brake during braking. One of the method was using special thermal camera. The camera was checking the temperature during whole test after beginning the test to the end of the trial. The full spectrum of the temperature allowed the author to verify if there was some influence of temperature to the new electric brake prototype. The thermocouple was other type of sensors, which was normally used in our laboratory methodology to check temperature during the test. The pyrometer was other type of the method, which was used to measure the temperature after the test. The results of this measurement were subscribed in this article.

Jednym z istotnych elementów, mającym wpływ na prawidłowe zrozumienie przekazywanej wiedzy z określonych jej obszarów, do których zalicza się między innymi inżynieria rolnicza, jest przejrzysta graficzna reprezentacja omawianej treści. Aktualnie dostępne techniki informacyjne pozwalają na wytworzenie złożonej prezentacji graficznej, bazującej w głównej mierze na zapisie wektorowym obrazu. W niniejszym artykule, autorzy dokonali przeglądu kilku z najnowszych technologii informatycznych, takich jak ASP.NET 3.5, XAML oraz Silverlight, umożliwiających różnoraką wizualizację treści. Następnie wykorzystali wspominane techniki w procesie wytwarzania internetowego systemu EDUIR wspierającego nauczanie przedmiotów obowiązujących na kierunku technika rolnicza. Stanowiło to podstawę, do określenia przydatności wspomnianych technik informacyjnych w zakresie tworzenia aplikacji internetowych wspomagających zarówno kształcenie jak i doradztwo w inżynierii rolniczej, gdzie wiele przetwarzanych danych ma charakter graficzny.
Clear graphic representation of discussed content is one of the vital elements affecting correct understanding of transmitted knowledge from its specific areas, which among other things include agricultural engineering. Currently available information techniques allow to create a complex graphic presentation, to a large extent based on a vector image recording. In this article, the authors have reviewed some of the most recent information technologies, including ASP.NET 3.5, XAML and Silverlight, which allow to visualise content in all sorts of ways. Then, they used the mentioned techniques in the process involving development of the EDUIR Internet system supporting teaching of subjects obligatory for agricultural technology students. This provided grounds for determining usability of the mentioned information techniques as regards creating Internet applications supporting both education and consulting in agricultural engineering, where a lot of processed pieces of information have graphic character.

The publication analyses the way of managing and improving the quality of the production process of aluminum pistons for internal combustion engines. The aim of the article is to propose a method of analysis of the effectiveness of individual control methods used in the process of controlling the aluminium piston. Thanks to the location of a control point with the highest share of product non-compliance detection in the production process, it is possible to reduce quality control points by less effective points, which will contribute to lower costs or shorten the time of production processes. In view of the increasing demands on the efficiency of the checkpoints for components in internal combustion engines, the issue is important and topical.

W artykule przedstawiono wyniki badań modułu Younga oraz momentu bezwładności przekroju źdźbeł pszenżyta. Badania te przeprowadzono na maszynie wytrzymałościowej INSTRON 8501 w celu identyfikacji danych wejściowych do obliczeń na modelu matematycznym. Uzyskane wyniki badań jednoznacznie wskazują, że moduł Younga nie jest wartością stałą, lecz zależy od średnicy zewnętrznej źdźbeł pszenżyta.
In the paper were presented research results of triticale Young's modulus and stalks cross-section moment of inertia. Investigations were made on fatigue-testing machine called INSTRON 8501. Research results gave input data for simulation research and proved that Young's modulus is not constant value but depends on triticale stalks diameter.

The paper presents an analysis of the ASz-62IR-16E aircraft engine dual control system during failure conditions. The studies which are part of the certification tests in accordance with CS-E are described. The engine was equipped with a prototype electronic fuel injection control system. The experiments were conducted on the ASz-62IR-series piston aircraft engine test stand located in WSK "PZL-Kalisz" S.A. Robustness of the electronic control system has been studied for a single sensor failures and the effects of these failures have been evaluated. The tests included simulated failures of engine speed, manifold air pressure and engine temperature sensors. The results of these tests were described and presented on the time-domain charts. The paper concludes with an analysis and a summary.
W artykule przedstawiono analizę działania dublowanego systemu sterowania silnika lotniczego ASz-62IR-16E w stanach awaryjnych. Opisano badania stanowiące fragment próby dowodowej zgodnej z normą CS-E. Silnik wyposażony był w prototypowy, elektroniczny układ sterowania wtryskiem paliwa. Próby wykonano na stoisku hamownianym silników lotniczych tłokowych ASz-62IR w WSK "PZL-Kalisz" S.A. Badano odporność układu na pojedyncze awarie czujników oraz oceniano skutki tych awarii. Wykonano próby, w których symulowano awarie czujników prędkości obrotowej, ciśnienia powietrza w kolektorze dolotowym i temperatury silnika. Wyniki tych prób opisano i przedstawiono na wykresach przebiegów czasowych oraz przeprowadzono ich analizę. Artykuł zakończono podsumowaniem.

W pracy przedstawiono procedurę wyznaczania czasu próbkowania dla szeregów czasowych opartą na warunku Shanona. Zaprezentowany przykład dotyczy przechowywania ziarna żyta. Proces magazynowania materiałów sypkich organicznych jest monitorowany w celu prognozowania stanu samozagrzewania, które na ogół jest niebezpieczne. Systemy stosowane do monitorowania procesu są oparte na technice cyfrowej, w której pomiar jest realizowany w odstępach czasowych (czas próbkowania).
In this paper the procedure of calculation of testing time for time series based on Shanon condition is presented. The presented example concerns storage of the rye's grain. The process of storage of organic materials in bulk is monitored for the forecasting of the heating state that is usually dangerous. The systems applied to the monitoring of the process are based on digital techniques, where the measurement is realised in time intervals (testing time).

W referacie omówiono skutki spowodowane wystąpieniem pożaru filtru procesowego PCI z przenośnikiem zgarniakowym, będącego elementem instalacji wdmuchiwania pyłu węglowego do Wielkiego Pieca. Przeprowadzone badania diagnostyczne, w których skład wchodziło wykonanie badań nieniszczących, metalograficznych i pomiarów twardości, dały podstawę do wskazania przyczyn wystąpienia kolejnych awarii filtru, jak również sformułowania odpowiednich zaleceń diagnostycznych.
The paper discusses the effects of the tire in the PCI process filter with a scraper conveyor, which is an element of the coal dust injection system into the Blast Furnace. The conducted diagnostic tests, which included the performance of non-destructive, metallographic and hardness tests, gave the basis to indicate the causes of subsequent filter failures, as well as to formulate appropriate diagnostic recommendations.
