Opis:: This paper seeks to explore the narrative catechesis and elements of religious pedagogy in C.S. Lewis' “The Chronicles of Narnia” and to critically ponder on the following questions: To what extent is the message of faith conveyed to the reader by Lewis' story-telling? In which way is a narrative approach to theology and catechesis articulated and realised? Why is the narrative catechesis useful and what is its role in the context of the overall mission of the Church i.e. the preaching of the Gospel? In order to provide answers to these questions the first part of this paper outlines a Christian allegory of the Narnian stories. The second part deals with the formalistic approach as using allegory, allusion, and symbolism to interpret Lewis' narrative. The third part outlines the need for a critical awareness and the role of theological narrative in flourishing humanity and human wholeness. The concluding section presents an overall assessment of Lewis's Christian fantasy and its faith-shaping impact.

Opis:: The article is devoted to the characterization of expression of the functional-semantic category of inexpressible in the publicism of the ХIХ century on the works of M.P.Pogodin. A brief characteristic of inexpressible is given; this meaning is compared with the conjugate functional-semantic categories of the incomprehensible, invisible, and also categories of uncertainty. It is shown that the organization of the expression the conjugate categories in Pogodin’s works is based on the apophatism. The publicistic work of a historian-publicist is characterized by both single-word constituents of the inexpressible, and in the composition of utterance. The most frequent is an inconceivable adjective and its derivatives (incomprehensible, incomprehensibly, the incomprehensible). The adjectives inexplicable and incomprehensible and their derivatives are frequent in Pogodin’s works depending on the syntagmatic environment and the text assignment, these units actualize the meaning of inexpressible or incomprehensible. The adjective unknown is 10% of the total amount of means of expression of inexpresible.
Статья посвящена характеристике средств передачи функционально-семантической категории невыразимого в публицистике ХIХ в. на материале произведений М. П. Погодина. Дана краткая характеристика значения невыразимого; это значение сопоставлено с сопряженными функционально-семантическими категориями непостижимого, незримого, а также категориями неопределенности и неизвестности. Показано, что организация средств передачи сопряженных категорий в публицистике Погодина базируется на приеме апофатизма. Публицистическому творчеству историка-публициста свойственны как однословные конституенты невыразимого, так и в составе речения. Наиболее частотным является адъектив непостижимый и его дериваты (непостижимое, непостижимо, непостижимость). Частотны в публицистике Погодина адъективы неизъяснимый и необъяснимый и их дериваты; в зависимости от синтагматического окружения и текстового задания эти единицы актуализируют значение невыразимого или непостижимого. Адъектив неведомый составляет 10% от общего количества средств передачи невыразимого.
