    The purpose of research: to determine the fundamental provisions and the basic concepts of forming cultural and creative content of technological education of the secondary school pupils, its effective component. Methods of research: a critical analysis of scientific sources and the results of practical experience; comparative historical method of similarity and differences between organizational types of culture; modeling of educational field "Technology" for the detection of internal and external relations; structural and genetic analysis and synthesis of the main elements of a modern organizational type of design and technological culture, which contribute to the development of school technological education system, determine the features of structure and design of its content; clarifying of terminological concepts of cultural approach to forming the content of technological education of secondary school pupils. Results. According to the modern requirements of quality content and the process of technology training, its effective component is not determined by the level of mastering a certain amount of alienated knowledge, technocratic skills, but the mastery level of pupils of cultural needed key, brunch and the subject of design and technological competence. High-quality technological education involves not only creating conditions for the formation of the competencies based on the updated content, methods and forms of education, but also the development of diagnostic assessment criterion level of this competence of pupils.

    In this paper, the view is proposed that human culture appears fundamental in resolving the problem of ‘the human condition’. Its holistic nature comprises all tangible and intangible aspects, including artefacts, language and communication. It is the culture-language complex which is responsible for the generation of both collective and individual human identity via its locality expressed in a plethora of tangibleintangible manifestations. The regionalism of this complex ought to result in special care of both institutions and individuals who, by demonstrating active involvement on a local scale, are co-responsible for the maintenance of local cultural-linguistic identity. Its vitality is, in turn, more than significant for the maintenance of identity on a larger (e.g. national, global) scale. The aforementioned aspects of regionalism are discussed here on the basis of a review of the content of an encyclopedic outline of Kashubian culture (Bedeker) authored by Tadeusz Bolduan.

    Objective: Technological transformations have profoundly changed the journalism professions. These transformational processes have been experienced by journalists in a techno-cultural environment where their personal and collective memories were shaped. This study employs oral history as the data collection technique in order to explore the details of this techno-cultural change from the actor-network theory (ANT) perspective. Research methods: A sample of 28 senior Turkish journalists were interviewed about their experiences on the technological transformations in their professional life. The transcribed text from these narrations were qualitatively analyzed by NVivo. Results: Journalists agreed that their work was more satisfactory during their past career, and they had faced some difficulties in new forms of technical practices. They also remembered how they were able to tackle some unexpected technical problems by introducing creative inventions. They generally acknowledged the negative effects of technology on the job cuts. Cognitive value: Interviewees’ narrations display the details of the change in journalism professions.

    The artefacts described in the paper come from the Przeworsk culture settlement in Kwiatków, where more than 100 fibulae were discovered. Among the artefacts acquired were three knee-shaped brooches with a semi-circular shield on the head. One of them was discovered in a well; the other two came from the surface of the site. This paper is mostly concerned with issues related to the technological aspects of the production of these items. In addition to the analysis of traces of craftsmanship found on the fibulae, XRF tests were performed to determine the material from which they were made. This approach allows one to supplement the typological findings and reconstruct the process of creating a given object. The brooches were microscopically examined for traces of craftsmanship. The attempt to determine the foundry method which had been applied failed to produce the expected results. Usually, individual instances of knee-shaped fibulae have been recorded at sites in Poland and other countries, such as the Czech Republic. In Kwiatków, however, the discovery contained as many as three such artefacts, though they had not been made in a workshop of one craftsman, although two display a high level of similarity.

    The Malaysian government has encouraged public sectors to adopt innovation to create value added that will increase their wealth creation and to enhance their competitive advantage. There are many initiatives have been put forward to encourage the innovative activities, nonetheless, the efforts are rather less fruitful. Thus, this paper aims to discuss the challenges faced in managing non-technological innovation in the organization and suggest ways for improvement particularly in Malaysian public sectors. For that purpose, seven interviewees have been chosen to be interviewed using semi-structured questions from two categories; facilitator and implementer. Thematic approach is implemented to analyse the data collected. This study has identified three critical challenges, which include innovative culture, inadequate resources and lack of collaboration with other institutions.
    Rząd Malezji zachęcał sektory publiczne do przyjmowania innowacji w celu tworzenia wartości dodanej, która zwiększy ich dobrobyt i wzmocni przewagę konkurencyjną. Podjęto wiele inicjatyw zachęcających do innowacyjnych działań, jednak uzyskane wyniki nie są najlepsze. Niniejszy artykuł ma na celu omówienie wyzwań stojących przed zarządzaniem pozatechnologicznymi innowacjami w organizacji oraz zaproponowanie sposobów na poprawę aktualnego stanu, szczególnie w malezyjskich sektorach publicznych. W tym celu wybrano siedem osób, z którymi przeprowadzono wywiady, z wykorzystaniem półstrukturalnych pytań z dwóch kategorii; moderator i realizator. W celu analizy zebranych danych wdrożono podejście tematyczne. W badaniu wskazano trzy kluczowe wyzwania, które obejmują innowacyjną kulturę, nieodpowiednie zasoby oraz brak współpracy z innymi instytucjami.

    The subject of the research was an attempt to show a perspective of formation of a new type of human mentality and show the circumstances leading to its origin. From the ideological and economic perspective, the above-mentioned changes necessitate profound pedagogical consideration, not only in the area of methodology of work with the student but, above all, in the axiological sphere, focusing on emergence of new quality of mentality, which is on the one hand rooted in locality but on the other hand aiming at globality. Such a research perspective opens questions of quality of this new existence, of educational goal and of a direct influence of culture on the individual’s social life. Will this new existence be based solely on globality? Will mere unification be enough to give it any purpose or will it meander at the border of locality, returning to the 20th-century’s image of confinement to prejudices and ideologies, only archiving and copying the experiences of the twentieth century?
    Przedmiotem podjętych badań była próba ukazania perspektywy tworzenia się nowego typu mentalności ludzkiej i ukazania okoliczności jej powstawania. Scharakteryzowane zmiany zarówno w perspektywie ideologicznej, jak i ekonomicznej powodują potrzebę głębokiego namysłu pedagogicznego w obszarze metodyki pracy z wychowankiem oraz przede wszystkim próby ujęcia aksjologicznego powstania nowej jakości mentalnej, która mimo że tkwi głęboko w lokalności, to ukierunkowana jest jednak na globalność. Perspektywa badań rodzi pytania o jakość owej egzystencji, celowość wychowania oraz bezpośredni wpływ kultury na socjalizację jednostki. Czy będzie się ona kierować tylko i wyłącznie w kierunku globalności? Czy sama unifikacja wystarczy, aby nadać jej sens? Czy może będzie wędrować po obrzeżach lokalności, wracając do dwudziestowiecznego obrazu zamknięcia w przesądach i ideologiach, archiwizując i powielając tym samym doświadczenie XX w.?

    Abstract: The paper focuses on death and its place in archaeology. It summarises the different approaches in interdisciplinary research. The main point is a proposal of a new research method, based on the concepts chaîne opératoire and schéma opératoire. This technological approach is presented using the example of six Wielbarkian graves. The authors developed a standardized form, which could be used for the description and analysis of a wide range of phenomenon related to mortuary practises in the past.

    In many current discussions, digitalization functions as a dazzling leitmotif not only for technological, social and cultural transformation processes in general, but also for current social reproduction problems and upheavals in the field of education in particular. On the one hand, there is a widespread uneasiness in educational cultures of digitality; on the other hand, the promises of the future in learning technology are also promoting tendencies of ease for some groups. Based on a broader perspective that goes beyond a Freudian understanding of discomfort in culture, this article puts forward five trenchant theses for discussion, all of which mark fault lines of (dis)comfort in the educational cultures of digitality.
    Digitalizacja funkcjonuje w wielu aktualnych dyskusjach jako migotliwa formuła przewodnia nie tylko dla procesów transformacji technologicznej, społecznej i kulturowej w ogóle, ale także dla aktualnych problemów reprodukcji społecznej i przewrotów w sektorze edukacji w szczególności. Z jednej strony, w kulturach edukacyjnych panuje powszechny niepokój związany z cyfrowością; z drugiej strony, obietnice technologii uczenia się przyszłości również promują tendencje do komfortu dla niektórych grup. Opierając się na szerszej perspektywie, która wykracza poza freudowskie rozumienie dyskomfortu w kulturze, niniejszy artykuł stawia pięć tez do dyskusji, z których wszystkie wyznaczają linie błędu (dys)komfortu w edukacyjnych kulturach cyfrowości.

    Porównanie cywilizacji i kultury w białoruskich pracach teoretycznych i utworach literackich okresu międzywojennego wskazało na problem rozwoju naukowo-technicznego. Autorka artykułu omawia niniejszy temat zarówna z perspektywy kontekstu filozoficznego, jak i na gruncie poszukiwań estetycznych. Mimo że nie skupia uwagi na oryginalnych teoriach białoruskich intelektualistów z początków XX wieku, podkreśla znaczenie doświadczenia innych państw w tym zakresie. Autorka wskazuje na fakt, że pierwsze dekady XX wieku białoruskiej humanistyki były świadkiem wzmożonego zainteresowania wymienioną tematyką. Wynikało to z ogólnych tendencji europejskiej filozofii i sztuki oraz z faktu, że po zwycięstwie rewolucji 1917 roku w licznych publikacjach wzywano do tworzenia kultury nowego typu. Analiza utworów literackich i tekstów kulturoznawczych J. Barychevskogo, P. Dvarkevicha, A. Babareki, T. Klyashtornogo i innych pozwoliła autorce sformułować wniosek, że kontekst białoruskiej literatury w kulturze pierwszych dekad XX wieku świadczy nie tylko o wysokim poziomie estetycznym poezji i krytyki, lecz także o dążeniu do zdefiniowania najważniejszych problemów ludzkości, zwłaszcza trudnych relacji między cywilizacja a kulturą.
    Belarusian literature of the interwar period reflected such an important issue as the interpretation of scientific and technological progress in an opposition to civilization and culture in theoretical and literary texts. This topic in the article is discussed from the point of view of both actual philosophical context and aesthetic quest. We are talking about the original theoretical development of Belarusian intellectuals of the early twentieth century as well as considerable importance and mastering of foreign experience because 1920s and 1930s witnessed an increased attention to various aspects of the topic in Belarusian humanistic space. This was due both to general tendencies in the European philosophy and art, and to the fact that after the victory of the Russian Revolution of 1917, publications of the 1920s called to create a new type of culture. The analysis of literary and cultural texts of E. Borichevsky, P. Dvarkevich, A. Babareka, T. Klyashtorny and other authors enables to conclude that the context of Belarusian literature and culture of the 1920s and 1930s reflects not only the high aesthetic level of poetry and criticism, but also the desire to comprehend most significant problems of human existence and complicated relations between civilization and culture.

We are talking about the original theoretical development of Belarusian intellectuals of the early twentieth century as well as considerable importance and mastering of foreign experience because 1920s and 1930s witnessed an increased attention to various aspects of the topic in Belarusian humanistic space. This was due both to general tendencies in the European philosophy and art, and to the fact that after the victory of the Russian Revolution of 1917, publications of the 1920s called to create a new type of culture. The analysis of literary and cultural texts of E. Borichevsky, P. Dvarkevich, A. Babareka, T. Klyashtorny and other authors enables to conclude that the context of Belarusian literature and culture of the 1920s and 1930s reflects not only the high aesthetic level of poetry and criticism, but also the desire to comprehend most significant problems of human existence and complicated relations between civilization and culture.
