Opis:
Jednym z istotnych problemów polskiego górnictwa jest słabe wykorzystanie posiadanych urządzeń, a w szczególności maszyn górniczych. Dla poprawy tego stanu konieczne jest podejmowanie działań mających na celu rzeczywistą ocenę stopnia wykorzystania tych maszyn. Uzyskane wyniki powinny stać się podstawą działań odpowiednich służb w celu poprawy tej sytuacji. Przedstawione w artykule badania i ich wyniki powinny stanowić istotne źródło informacji w zakresie analizy i oceny wykorzystania kombajnu ścianowego w procesie podziemnej eksploatacji węgla kamiennego. W artykule skoncentrowano się na kombajnie ścianowym, który stanowi pierwsze ogniwo zestawu maszyn wykorzystywanego w podziemnej eksploatacji. Efektywność jego pracy, rozpatrywana w obszarze dostępności, wydajności oraz jakości urobku ma podstawowe znaczenie dla oceny całego procesu eksploatacyjnego. Wykorzystując dane pozyskane z urządzeń automatyki przemysłowej, dla każdego z tych obszarów wyznaczono odpowiednie wskaźniki, które następnie umożliwiły wyznaczanie wskaźnika efektywności całkowitej (OEE) kombajnu. Analizę przeprowadzono dla 66 zmian roboczych, a uzyskane wyniki wskazują na duże rezerwy w zakresie wykorzystania tej maszyny.
One of the main problems of Polish coal mining is a poor use of equipment, in particular mining machines. To improve this state, it is necessary to take actions aiming at real evaluation of the use of these machines. The results should form the basis of proper service's activities in order to improve this situation. The research and the results, which the article presents, should be a crucial source of information for the analysis and the evaluation of the use of the longwall shearer in the process of underground exploitation of coal. The article is focused on the longwall shearer, which is the first link of the set of machines used in underground exploitation. Effectiveness of its work, considered in the area of availability, performance and quality of the excavated material, is essential for the evaluation of the whole exploitation process. Using data obtained from industrial automation devices, proper indicators for each of these areas were designated and they allowed the determination of the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) indicator for the longwall shearer. The analysis was conducted for 66 work shifts and the results indicate that there are large reserves in the area of use of this machine.

W zapewnieniu odpowiedniego stanu technicznego budynku w czasie jego użytkowania przydatna jest znajomość procesu starzenia budynku. W artykule jest przedstawiona propozycja modelu prognozy starzenia budynku mieszkalnego. Zaproponowany model PRRD określa zmiany właściwości użytkowych budynku w pełnym okresie jego użytkowania. Model uwzględnia okresy trwałości poszczególnych elementów składowych budynku. Do modelu dodatkowo wprowadzone zostały uzupełnienia uwzględniające intensywność zmian w obiekcie i w jego otoczeniu.
In order to ensure an adequate technical state of a building over the course of its use, familiarity with the building aging process is useful. The article presents the proposal of a model for predicting the aging of a residential building. The proposed PRRD model determines the performance characteristics of a building over the full period of its use. The model accounts for the life spans of individual building components. Additionally introduced in the model were supplements accounting for the intensity of changes in the building and its surroundings.

Despite the large number of publications, which authors use the mathematical apparatus of Petri nets for the transportation systems studies, there are still no such researches of technological processing lines for passenger trains on the territory of passenger complexes that aim to improve trains processing technology. In this article, we present simulation models of technological processing lines for passenger trains of different categories developed with the use of Petri nets. The structure of proposed simulation models is based on real time parallel-operating objects. Such an approach allows maximizing similarity of developed models and the simulated objects; in this way we achieve the increased adequacy of the obtained models. The article presents an interface of developed models and examples of their functioning under conditions of different input parameters, as well as the results of their use in order to reduce the passenger trains processing time. The proposed models are generic and could be applied for simulation of passenger trains processing at any station of Ukraine.

The paper describes the application of the author's mathematical model of gas-dynamic processes for a marine piston engine based on a computer program. The developed mathematical and numerical model is designed to conduct simulation diagnostics. Therefore, it is possible to carry out calculations for motors in different technical conditions and observing influence of changes in technical condition on selected parameters of its work. Simulation of changes in technical condition is carried out by modifying parameters of structure’s model object. The article contains a detailed description of each options of the computer program. From the main program window, user can select type of engine model (supercharging method, cylinder number, work order, stroke and piston diameter and a number of other parameters). Through a window of simulation of known and recognizable damages such as: change in fuel dose for each cylinder, change in intake and outlet valves, leakage of piston-ring-cylinder system, change of injector hole cross section. Final windows show results of calculations in form of mileage parameters of engine as a function of crank angle.

In the paper the concept of a system structure with particular emphasis on the reliability structure has been presented. Advantages and disadvantages of modeling the reliability structure of a system using reliability block diagrams (RBD) have been shown. RBD models of a marine steam�-water system constructed according to the concept of �'multicomponent�', 'one component�f and mixed models have been discussed. Critical remarks on the practical application of models which recognize only the structural surplus have been dealt with. The significant value of the model by professors Smalko and Jaźwiński called by them �edefault reliability structure�f has been pointed out. The necessity of building a new type of models: quality�-quantity, useful in the methodology developed by the author's multi-criteria analysis of importance of elements in the reliability structure of complex technical systems.
W artykule przedstawiono pojęcie struktury systemu ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem struktury niezawodnościowej. Przedstawiono zalety i wady modelowania struktury niezawodnościowej systemu z wykorzystaniem blokowych schematów niezawodności (RBD). Przedstawiono modele RBD okrętowego systemu parowo-wodnego zbudowane wg koncepcji modelu „wieloelementowego”, „jednoelementowego” i mieszanego. Przedstawiono krytyczne uwagi dotyczące praktycznego zastosowania modeli ujmujących jedynie nadmiar strukturalny. Wskazano na istotną wartość modelu autorstwa profesorów Jadźwińskiego i Smalko nazwanego przez nich „domyślną strukturą niezawodnościową”. Wskazano na konieczność budowy nowego typu modeli: jakościowo-ilościowych przydatnych w rozwijanej przez autora metodyce wielokryterialnej analizy ważności elementów w strukturze niezawodnościowej złożonych systemów technicznych.

The article presents the possibility to control the real operation process of an arbitrary device installed in the marine power plant based on the four-state semi-Markov process, being the model of the process, which describes the transition process of operational states of the device (ek , k = 1, 2, 3, 4), and the transition process of its technical states (sl , l = 1, 2, 3). The operational states ek (k = 1, 2, 3, 4) have the following interpretation: e1 – active operation state resulting from the task performed by the device, e2 – state of ready-to-operate stop of the device, e3 – state of planned preventive service of the device, e4 – state of unplanned service of the device, forced by its damage. Whereas the interpretation of the technical states sl (l = 1, 2, 3) is as follows: s1 – state of full serviceability of the device, s2 – state of partial serviceability of the device, and s3 – state of unserviceability of the device. All these states are precisely defined for the ship main engine (SG). A hypothesis is proposed which justifies the use of this model to examine real state transitions in marine power plant device operation processes. The article shows the possibility to make operating decisions ensuring a rational course of the device operation process when the proposed model of this process and the dynamic programming method based on the Bellman’s principle of optimality are applied. The optimisation criterion adopted when making operating decisions is the expected profit to be gained as a result of functioning of the device in the time interval [τ0 , τm], being the sum of the expected profit gained in interval [τ0 , τ1 ] and to be gained in interval [τ1 , τm].

Purpose: The primary purpose of the article is to cross-sectionally present the concept of a model for optimizing the main drainage system in a coal mine. Design/methodology/approach: The stated goal was achieved by using several research methods, including a literature study of existing technical system models and technical system modeling. Finally, the methodology used was based on a layered approach, which was verified by testing in a mine environment. Findings: In the course of the work, it was found that the main drainage system at the Sobieski Coal Mine is very complex. The energy intensity of the main dewatering process was identified as the main problem. The proposed concept of a layered model of the main dewatering system makes it possible to identify the influence of technical, management and economic parameters of the system. Research limitations/implications: The research limitations are due to the complexity of the system, the difficulties arising from the specificity of the mine environment, the lack of the possibility of ongoing diagnostics of the entire infrastructure (e.g. pipeline specification, the ability to measure sediment in water galleries, smooth change of the speed of drive mechanisms, etc.). Practical implications: The results of the research work will be recommendations for engineering and technical staff aimed at reducing the energy intensity of the system. Social implications: the conducted research is part of the current trend of searching for methods to reduce the energy intensity of systems and equipment. Originality/value: The originality of the issue stems from the proposed concept of a layered model of the main drainage system, taking into account technical, organizational and economic parameters. Determining the relationship between the elements of each layer will enable the development of an optimization method to reduce the energy intensity of the system.

As organizations grow more complex in operation and more global in scope, assets and technical integrity become key success factors. A company's asset integrity business process needs to be mapped in order to 1) provide a proper overview of operation and business processes, 2) identify all critical interfaces and 3) ensure that all gaps and overlap in processes are eliminated. Achieving asset integrity requires companies to sustain their activities and identify the hazards, weaknesses and objectives of their strategic assets. Technical integrity emphasizes a complete overview of technical conditions and related information, and the ability of the companies to document the technical state of its assets. It is based on an integrated view of the current state of operations, and the identification of all critical interfaces, in order to ensure that all gaps and unnecessary overlaps in processes are eliminated. Companies look increasingly at their asset integrity management system as a means to extend the life of their assets, beyond the original design conditions and production capacity. Establishing an asset integrity management system requires the documentation of the company’s technical integrity management, a strategy and the processes for carrying it out, identifying gaps; selecting corrective interventions and conducting follow up actions. The paper will discuss various aspects of asset integrity management, including its planning and implementation. We begin with an introduction to asset technical integrity, provide some theoretical backgrounds, present a model we call 5C and conclude with a summary and discussion.

The purpose of this paper is to measure the technical efficiency of Polish dairy farms using a Bayesian Varying Efficiency Distribution (VED) model. In particular, the paper presents the design and assumptions of frontier stochastic production function for panel data. Furthermore, it specifies the microeconomic production function based on panel data, derived from the Polish FADN (Farm Accountancy Data Network). The main part of the paper presents key findings which form the basis of understanding the technological characteristics and average efficiency of Polish dairy farms. Moreover, the exogenous variables affecting the level of average farm efficiency are identified. They are the source of significant differences in levels of efficiency of dairy farmers surveyed.

The main purpose of this article is to present the structure of a tactical air force, on the example of the Polish Tactical Air Force, in a form of a technical system. This kind of technical system presents the technical point of view and organizationally bonds currently existing systems, objects (facilities) and components that are included into the Polish Tactical Air Force. The authors consider the Polish Tactical Air Force as the main analyses domain of this article. The model of presented system is mainly focused on operators’ organization and operation system of military aircraft, which are considered as technical objects (facilities) in a tactical air force. At the beginning of this article, the Polish Tactical Air Force is placed in more complex systemic structures. Then, the authors use the systems methodology, systems engineering, technical object-oriented (facility-oriented) approach and the matrix of the Model of Generalized Technical System to describe the Tactical Air Force System and present it via the model of such a system. The following model is based on a tree-shaped scheme divided into five levels of decomposition. The Model of Tactical Air Force System (as the “final product” of authors’ considerations over the selected analyses domain) has a considerable contribution to systems’ development in the Polish Armed Forces. The above-mentioned systems’ development could lead to greater progress in the Polish military as well as in systemic ideas. The implementation of the systems methodology in the design process of a new system, performed in a tactical air force, is an example of technical object systems engineering.

The analysis of implementation technology foresight in various countries is carried out which showed that for today foresight is used as the system instrument of formation the future allowing to consider changes in All spheres of public life: science and technologies, economy, social, public relations, culture. Types and structural elements of technology foresight are separated. The necessity of further research the problem associated with increasing the efficiency of foresight-projects through its informatization is shown. The aim of the article is to describe process of synthesis the model of informatization as technologies foresight in general, and its specific variants (foresight-project). Informative and formal statements of problems synthesis system model (SM) choice of priorities in the implementation of national foresight-researches are given. Approach to construction of SM technology foresight in the form of the two-level hierarchical system consisting of the functional and methodical levels is offered. At that the functional level includes a set of types and purposes of technology foresight, and methodical - reflects a transition way from input elements to output. For a further concretization of SM, taking into account the selected properties of discrecity and determinancy, the mathematical apparatus of the automata theory is used. In this case the system is represented in the form of automaton chich processes the discrete information and changes its internal states only in admissible timepoints. For computer implementation of model technology foresight is supposed to use network models which, in general, provide adequacy of the formal representation of foresight-researches. Reasonability of use the apparatus of Joiner-networks (JN) defines a connectivity and directivity of transmission of output results as input alphabets is shown.

EU enlargements have given new EU member states access to the European Single Market. While tariff liberalisation was already completed at the time of enlargement, technical regulations were subject to different sectoral approaches, including harmonisation and mutual recognition. We employ a structural gravity model estimated using sectoral trade data from 1987 to 2020 to assess the trade effects of these measures. We find that trade expansion, particularly exports of the NMS to the incumbent EU members, has been stronger in the sectors covered either by the Old Approach (full harmonisation) or the New Approach (essential requirements) than in sectors covered by mutual recognition. The New Approach has been more effective when coupled with mutual recognition at the sector level than with either approach alone. Our results imply that the TBT harmonisation has had a heterogenous impact on different sectors (the most important for low-tech industries was the Old Approach, while for high-tech, it was the New Approach).

Opis:
The most important problem of operation of all technical objects (devices) is the problem of rational (optimum) decision control of the process of technical state changes of the objects. Such control can be realized when a model of the process of technical stale chanŹges is applied. In view of this, a formal description of the operational process of technical objects was presented in this paper, as well as it was justified that the model of the process may be a semi-Markovian process of finite set of states. Examples of 4-and 3-state semiŹ-Markovian process were given as a model of the above mentioned process of state chanŹges of any device. Difficulties associated with forming such model, which arise from application of the theory of semi-Markovian processes, were indicated. Therefore the proposed model is the semi-Markovian process whose values are technical states occurring in the phase of operation of many technical objects of practical importance (e.g. combustion piston engines, turbines, displacement and rotary compressors, impeller pumps etc).
