The article presents the specificity and the content of patent literature. It describes the structure of the patent documentation, possibilities of access to the scientific and technical, legal and economics information which that literature contains, and possibilities of using this information. The article mentions the most important international standards used in patent publications, recommended by the World Intellectual Property Organization. It also presents the types of computer patent databases and the most important bibliographic and full text databases accessible on CD-ROM and online, and also the specialistic publishers and commercial operators accessing patent information.

Przedstawiono wyniki badań ankietowych przeprowadzonych w 180-ciu gospodarstwach położonych na terenie Małopolski. Ankieta zawierała pytania na temat pozyskiwania informacji technicznej przez rolników. Zebrane dane pozwoliły na uzyskanie odpowiedzi na pytania jakimi kanałami informacja dociera do rolnika i jaka informacja jest najbardziej poszukiwana.
The results of survey research performed on 180 farms situated in the Malopolska region were presented. The survey included questions on the subject of gaining technical information by farmers. The data gathered allowed to attain answers to the questions of what channels were used to reach the farmer and what information was most sought-for.

Modern agriculture foresees the implementation of a particular technological operation, according to the appropriate map-task, which is developed pre-based on diverse information. Knowledge of a certain structure of soil cover variability, obtained using information and technical systems of local operational monitoring of the agrobiological state of agricultural lands, allows us to adopt effective operational decisions for efficient management of agrobiological potential of agricultural lands. Obviously, under such conditions there is a need for fundamentally new approaches to agricultural production, which is to ensure the proper quality of technological operations. The quality of the implementation of technological operations is an integral indicator of the efficiency of production of agricultural products within the agrobiological field. The necessary quality of implementation of the basic technological processes in plant growing is provided by the integrated information and technical systems of operational monitoring of the agrobiological state of agricultural lands. This opens new prospects for organic farming using such smart agricultural machines. In connection with it the task is to obtain reliable data on the agrobiological state of the soil environment by reducing the error in determining the magnitude of the electrical conductive properties of the soil, providing individual stabilization of the working electrodes and the mechanism of lifting / lowering the working electrodes, copying inequalities of the soil environment, reducing the intensity of the destruction of the soil structure , selfcleaning of the working contact of the electrode and ensuring the stability of the electrical contact of the electrode with the soil, by instrument design perfection. The task is achieved by using the information and technical system of operational monitoring of the soil environment of the structure to determine the conductive characteristics of the soil environment. The purpose of the research is to determine the critical loading at the loss of stability by thin-walled working electrodes made in the form of working electrodes of various shapes (thin-walled solid, three-spit and four-spindle discs with different thickness of the rim). Opis:
Available techniques for dealing with uncertainties in the agro-industrial complex and their use for describing and assessing the adequacy of the decisions taken are incomplete, and often ineffective, as they usually do not take into account the combination of "field-machine-technological material", which prevents acceptance effective solutions for managing agro-biological potential of agricultural land and, as a consequence, obtaining the maximum economic efficiency of agricultural production. Reliable estimation of variables of agricultural production parameters using the "field-machine-technological material" model makes it possible to provide optimal control of available technical equipment (machinery, sowing machines, etc.), agro-biological (humus content, presence of nutrients, micro-and macro elements, etc. in soil or plant ) and technological resources for making adequate decisions and managing agro-biological potential of agricultural lands, which will provide the necessary economic efficiency. The task is achieved by ensuring the proper quality of the implementation of technological operations that are an integral indicator of economic efficiency and allow providing the necessary economic efficiency through optimal and efficient management of technical means for optimal action on the agro-biological potential of the field and the use of available technological resources. Such control is possible with the use of information and technical systems of local operational monitoring, which are located on machine-tractor units and provide effective control of technological operations by acting on the executive bodies of agricultural machines on the basis of data characterizing the agro-biological state of the soil environment. Information and technical systems of local operational monitoring of the agro-biological state of agricultural lands are used in the following cases: - before performing a technological operation, - simultaneously with the implementation of the technological operation (sowing, fertilizer application, etc.), - during the growing season and after harvesting. This opens new prospects for organic farming using such "smart" agricultural machines.

Zarządzanie ryzykiem powinno stanowić kluczowy element zarządzania strategicznego każdej organizacji, bez względu na jej wielkość. Zwiększa ono prawdopodobieństwo sukcesu organizacji i osiągnięcia wyznaczonych celów. Celem artykułu było określenie poziomu ryzyka techniczno-informacyjnego oraz produkcyjnego na podstawie opinii przedsiębiorców oraz zidentyfikowanie zależności pomiędzy odczuwaniem siły oddziaływania poszczególnych ryzyk a stopniem powiązania zarządzania ryzykiem ze strategią przedsiębiorstw. Artykuł opiera się o badania własne przeprowadzone na grupie 150 MSP w Polsce w 2016 r.
Risk management should be a key element of the strategic management of any organization, regardless of its size. It increases the probability of success of the organization and achieving the objectives. The aim of the article was to determine the level of technical information and production risk based on the opinions of entrepreneurs, and to identify the relationship between the perception of the impact of individual risks and the degree of linking risk management with the enterprise strategy. Article is based on own research, conducted among 150 SMEs in Poland in 2016.

The present article addresses the subject of technical specialist text, its discursive features and, what follows, its potential within the complex context of communication and functionality. What shall be analysed herein is a specific genre of the text, i.e. product information, along with its distinctive properties treated as a tool for exerting influence. The analysis shall be conducted while taking into account both inter- and intra-industry specialist communication. Consideration shall be given to the intertextual sphere, the functions and conventional structure of the text, its interactive roles and formulative level, i.e. the linguistic means and structures through which the speech acts inherent in the genre and necessary in the communication process are performed.

The problem of adaptation of educational space of technical university to modern market requirements is considered. There are described the results of studying the requests of higher education applicants and their vision of the success of the study. The aim of the article is to build an architecture of an information system similar to that used by modern enterprises, which will provide a combination of scientific, design and educational activities of the academic community, taking into account market needs. The main scientific research methods are bibliographic analysis, comparative analysis, methods of analogies. The conceptual architecture of the Information Support of Design Innovation Activity of the Technical University system based on the construction of a unified scientific and educational information space is described. The main task of the university's information space is to prepare students for activities of the real market. There are determined the necessity and limits of application of the modern access control system at the universities of Ukraine, in particular for the organization of independent work of students. There is offered the way to reach the 4th level of technological readiness of students 'and teachers' development. The construction of an ontological description of the subject area of a technical university, the development of the application of a grid model for the description of scientific and technical information, and the determination of the current technical status are defined as the basis of the system of setting tasks for project groups in the transition to project-oriented learning. This article aims to present our own research, diagnosing the level of psychosocial competencies of academic teachers at technical university – the competencies which are particularly important in the mediatised world. The research was done among 141 academic teachers of the Silesian University of Technology with the use of a diagnostic survey in 2019–2021. An expanded statistical analysis allowed the interpretation and assessment of 13 variables describing the investigated competencies.

Opis:
Aim. Digital technologies support learning, so the search for innovative approaches is ongoing. The aim of the research is to study the role of digital technologies in developing research competencies of future Doctors of Philosophy (PhDs). The aim was achieved through the Likert scale, calculation of the variability coefficients, the level of acquired knowledge and Cohen’s kappa coefficient, correlation index. Methods. Continuous study of the methodological foundations of scientific research was provided through the iSpring Market, and Comindwork online programmes. Learning English involved using the BBC Learning English application, while OpenLearning was used to develop knowledge on the dissertation topic. Results. It was determined that the respondents who studied pedagogy, psychology, social work (Group 1) expanded their basic knowledge the most (21%). Respondents who studied journalism (Group 2) developed autonomous learning (23%). The future PhDs acquired knowledge in three subjects at a high level, contributing to developing professional competencies. Conclusions. The practical significance of the research is in developing training for PhDs with the use of digital technologies. The research prospects are related to comparing the effectiveness of training of first- and second-year PhDs as a result of the use of innovative technologies.

Transformation of the teaching subjects in our schools is not and certainly will not be easy. But it is a necessary to do. Today the school is not the only source of information. It faces competition from more attractive media and electronic resources. Therefore, the school also seeks to change its focus from traditional transfer of knowledge to master methods to provide information and apply. School must give information for pupils and keep it for understanding.
Transformacja treści i metod nauczania przedmiotów szkolnych w najbliŜszym czasie nie jest i na pewno nie będzie łatwa, ale jest zabiegiem koniecznym do zrobienia. Dzisiaj szkoła nie jest dla ucznia jedynym źródłem informacji. Na co dzień konkuruje z bardziej atrakcyjnymi mediami i róŜnorodnymi zasobami elektronicznymi. Dlatego szkoła musi zmieniać punkt cięŜkości z tradycyjnego transferu wiedzy na opanowanie metod przekazywania informacji i jej stosowania. Szkoła musi stać się dla uczniów waŜnym źródłem informacje i prowadzić do jej zrozumienia.

Opis:
The role of information in agricultural development cannot be overemphasized, as information is vital in increasing production, improving marketing and enhancing distribution strategies. Therefore, the study examined the impact of information communication technologies on the technical efficiency of fish farming in Ogun State, Nigeria using a stochastic production frontier approach. In a cross-sectional survey, a multi-stage sampling technique was employed to elicit primary information from 120 fish farmers. Major ICT sources used by the fish farmers include television (81.7%), radio (79.2%) and the Internet (68.3%). The average output of catfish has positive and significant elasticity with regards to each input variable except family labour. The inefficiency model revealed that the age of farmers, farming experience, television and radio usage were significant but negatively related. That means that any increase in any of these factors will reduce the inefficiency of fish farmers and bring about an increase in technical efficiency. This implies that it is possible to increase technical efficiency in fish farming in the study area provided that the media channel (radio and television) predominantly used is improved. This study recommends a reduction in family labour usage while at the same time encouraging young people to venture into fish farming.

W pracy zaprezentowano model wyznaczania informacji obsługowej w zakresie wyznaczania zbioru czynności obsługowych odnawiających elementy obsługowe odnawianego obiektu. Podstawą do wyznaczania zbioru czynności obsługowych elementów obiektu są: stany tych elementów oraz ich klasy obsługowe. W opracowanym modelu ważnymi jego elementami są zależności opisujące ten proces oraz opracowane reguły ekspertowe, które organizują ten proces tworzenia macierzy czynności obsługowych.
The paper presents a model for determining the operating information regarding the identification of a set of operations renewing the renovated facility operating elements. The basis for determining the set of operations of items are: stocks of these elements, and their class maintenance. In the developed model elements are important equations describing this process and developed expert rules that organize the process of creating a matrix maintenance.

The infrastructure management of the hospital requires apart from typical conditioning associated with managing a property, taking into account requirements put for individuals of the health care which medical technologies are being exploited. In the article a specificity of the technical infrastructure of the hospital was described, as well as problems resulting from the completion of processes of the infrastructure management were identified.
Zarządzanie infrastrukturą szpitala wymaga, poza typowymi uwarunkowaniami związanymi z zarządzaniem nieruchomością, uwzględnienia uwarunkowań stawianych jednostkom opieki zdrowotnej, które wykorzystują technologie medyczne. W artykule opisano specyfikę infrastruktury technicznej szpitala oraz zidentyfikowano problemy wynikające z realizacji procesów zarządzania infrastrukturą.

The study presents issues related to the motivation of human action and its shaping. The issues are presented from the point of view of psychology, sociology, management science and cybernetics. It was found that in the application of appropriate stimuli may affect motivation to change and consequently the change in quality of performance. The common denominator of these areas of study is the conclusion that the motivation may be the result of the conditions of information or energy. Maslow, human motivations, addicted from needs. He introduced the so-called pyramid of needs, from which it follows that the greatest impact of human motivations are the needs of an energetistic nature. But the Herzberg in his two-factor theory of motivation found that motivations are the result of exposure to man, so-call motivators such as stimuli (incentives) of the informative nature. At the same time he provided the conditions which made the effectiveness of these motivators. Mazur introduced the man as an autonomous system and describe the processes that determine the motivation of action. He said that the man, as the system must be able both to retrieve from environment as well to place on in to the environment, the information and energy. This means that the motives of human actions can have only informative and energetistic character, what largely corresponds with the results of sociological research. Kossecki linked motivations of human activities with distinctive social norms and depends of the human norm type, he found that motivations can be informative, energetistic, or mixed. To similar conclusions is reaching when it is depending the type of motivation of man's relation to the basic categories of social existence, given by Koneczny. Using the principles of transmission of information it has been shown that the efficiency of the control depends on the motivation. People with the energetistic motivation are more likely susceptible to control. In the discussion are presented examples of control in technical systems, typical for the problems presented in the work.
W pracy przedstawiono zagadnienia związane z motywacją działań człowieka i jej kształtowaniem. Problematykę przedstawiono z punktu widzenia psychologii, socjologii, nauk o zarządzaniu oraz cybernetyki. Wspólnym mianownikiem wymienionych dziedzin nauki jest wnioskowanie, że motywacja może wynikać z przesłanek informacyjnych lub energetycznych. Masłow motywacje ludzkie uzależnił od potrzeb. Przedstawił tzw. piramidę potrzeb, z której wynika, że na motywacje człowieka największy wpływ mają potrzeby o charakterze energetycznym. Z kolei Herzberg w swojej dwuczynnikowej teorii motywacji stwierdził, że motywacje są wynikiem oddziaływania na człowieka tzw. motywatorów, tj. bodźców o charakterze informacyjnym. Jednocześnie przedstawił warunki, od których uzależnił skuteczność tych motywatorów. Mazur przedstawił człowieka jako system autonomiczny oraz opisał procesy determinujące motywacje działań. Stwierdził, że człowiek jako system musi mieć możliwość zarówno pobierania z otoczenia jak i wprowadzania do niego informacji oraz energii. Oznacza to, że motywacje działań człowieka mogą mieć tylko charakter informacyjno-energetyczny, co w dużym stopniu koresponduje z wynikami badań socjologicznych. Kossecki powiązał motywacje działań człowieka z charakterystycznymi normami społecznymi i w zależności od normotypu człowieka stwierdził, że motywacje mogą mieć charakter informacyjny, energetyczny lub mieszany. Do podobnych wniosków dochodzi się uzależniając typ motywacji od stosunku człowieka do podstawowych kategorii bytu społecznego, podanych przez Konecznego. Posługując się zasadami przekazywania informacji pokazano, że skuteczność sterowania zależy od rodzaju motywacji.

Professional skills, as opposed to interpersonal skills, are types of skills that students learn in university. These skills are easy to quantify. The proficiency in these skills is easy to verify. Soft skills cannot be measured and tested as simply as professional skills. The authors highlight the most in-demand soft skills among employers. The article presents the results of several surveys of employers about the important requirements for jobseekers required for employment. Similar surveys were conducted among employers and employees of IT companies in the Republic of Belarus. It is concluded that soft skills are very important both for getting a first job and building a successful career. However, in the universities of the Republic of Belarus, teaching soft skills is poorly represented. The article shows how the process of teaching students of the second stage of higher education was modernized. Only the IT specialties of five Belarusian universities have undergone modernization. This work was carried out with the support of the international project MaCICT. At the same time, the experience of teaching similar disciplines in the universities of the European Union was used. To assess the effectiveness of students' acquisition of soft skills at the university, a system for assessing the results of the modernization of the learning process was developed. Questionnaires for teachers, students and employees of IT companies have been developed. A survey of all stakeholders in the results of the international project MaCICT was carried out. The paper provides information on the dissemination of the main approaches for organizing the teaching of IT specialties for teachers of another specialties of the Sukhoi State Technical University of Gomel, as well as for teaching IT disciplines of another universities in the Gomel region.
