Opis:: Considering the great social demand for qualified technically oriented workers, it is necessary to develop the interest in technical fields. The article introduces research focused on mapping the current situation of (non)interest of primary-school students in technical fields and especially verification of whether the (non)interest is linked to the popularity of technically oriented subjects at primary schools. Primary schools in the Czech Republic involve pupils at the age of 6–15. The reasons, why technically oriented subjects are not popular, will be evaluated to provide possible solutions.

Opis:: The article focuses on the diagnosis of Management learning state in the best Polish technical universities on Civil Engineers faculties. The authors pose the thesis that in the Polish technical universities there are too few Management courses, so that some of the civil engineers are unable to effectively carry out their tasks in managerial positions. The authors are looking for the confirmation of the thesis analysing twenty programs of Civil Engineering faculties. The average share of hourly subjects of Management in the total number of hours in the analysed faculties was 3%, which the authors deem a very low value. Based on the analysis of literature, the authors recognize that Management knowledge is essential for civil engineers from a certain stage of their careers. The competency gap associated with social and interpersonal competencies can be completed through the tools of lifelong learning, so that engineers with very good technical knowledge will be also able to effectively carry out management tasks.

Opis:: Vzdelávanie v oblasti BOZP v súčasnej spoločnosti má svoje opodstatnenie. Otázkam BOZP je venovaná veľká pozornosť aj zo strany EÚ. Okrem vytvárania priaznivého spoločenského prostredia a vedomia k dodržiavaniu noriem BOZP je dôležité, aby v štátnom vzdelávacom systéme bol vytváraný potrebný priestor na výchovu vysokokvalifikovaných odborníkov. V SR na univezitách je dlhodobo budovaný systém odbornej prípravy špecialistov. Informácie o orientácii slovenských univerzít na problematiku výchovy a vzdelávania z BOZP sú náplňou obsahu príspevku.
Training in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) in today's society is legitimate. European Union pays great attention to the OSH issues. Besides creating a favorable social environment and awareness of compliance with OSH standards, it is important to create the vital platform in the public education system for training of highly qualified experts. At the universities in Slovakia there has been built a system of professional training of specialists in the field. The paper informs on the orientation of Slovak universities on issues of education and training in the field of OSH.
Szkolenie BHP we współczesnym społeczeństwie ma swoje głębokie uzasadnienie. Kwestie BHP są podawane ze szczególną uwagą przez UE. Ponadto waŜne jest tworzenie korzystnego środowiska społecznego dla świadomego przestrzegania norm BHP. Istnieje potrzeba, aby system edukacji publicznej stworzył odpowiednie miejsce dla wykształcenia wysoko wykwalifikowanych specjalistów z tego zakresu. Artykuł ten zawiera informacje na temat orientacji słowackich uniwersytetów na sprawy kształcenia specjalistów z zakresu BHP.
