    Artykuł stanowi prezentację projektu badawczego mającego na celu diagnozę przygotowania polskich nauczycieli i pedagogów (pracujących na różnych etapach kształcenia formalnego) w zakresie edukacji międzykulturowej. Podjęta w projekcie problematyka stanowi odpowiedź na zmiany zachodzące we współczesnym świecie (w tym – na szczególnie wyrazistą w ostatnich latach – intensyfikację ruchów migracyjnych), które wymagają od nauczycieli wiedzy merytorycznej i metodycznej do pracy w zróżnicowanej kulturowo klasie/szkole i wielokulturowym społeczeństwie. Podstawę warsztatu metodologicznego stanowi zbiór autorskich narzędzi – kwestionariusz ankiety i skale pomiarowe, stworzone w efekcie wcześniejszych poszukiwań badawczych i zaadoptowane informatycznie do realizacji badań ogólnopolskich i międzynarodowych.
    The article presents a research project aiming at diagnosis of vocational preparation of Polish educators (working at varies levels of formal education) in the field of intercultural education. The issue of the project is a response to the changes in the contemporary world (including a particularly expressive migration growth in last years), which require from teachers subject-matter and methodological knowledge to work in a culturally diverse classroom/school and in the multicultural society. The basis of the methodological techniques is a set of research instruments – a questionnaire and measurement scales, created as a result of previous explorations and adopted to conduct further national and international researches.

    Opis:
    Professor Z. Krygowska in her article, opening the frst issue of the PTM (Polish Mathematical Society) journal Didactics of mathematics (Dydaktyka Matematyki), (Krygowska, 1981) noted that the teacher and his preparation, and thus the problems of teaching mathematics, are never ahistorical. We live here and now, our pupils (students, doctoral students) are immersed in the contemporary time and in the current form of being. The Internet, computer games, the considerable computational capabilities even of smartphones (and, more specically, the relevant applications) - seem to solve many of the needs that were once met by mathematical skills. Mathematics is becoming more useful and, at the same time, less noticeable by people (a so-called - background usability). What 10 years ago was a strong motivating element, is now ceasing to be a problem.

    The article presents the issue of educating teachers of preschool and early childhood education in Poland against the background of social changes after 1989. Despite efforts to provide teachers with full higher education, regulations made it possible to employ people without a master’s degree to work with children. This was due to the lack of teachers of a given specialisation and resulted from certain legal solutions in higher education. Many universities offered faculties and specialisations in this area, but failed to fully ensure a sufficient level of education. The text presents negative phenomena related to the lack of proper education standards. Recent changes in the standards of teacher preparation have forced an increase in the level of requirements for the education of preschool teachers, but the author remains doubtful about some solutions.

    Objectives: The preparation and permanent training of teachers and managers of Physical Education has become an area of interest and concern because it constitutes a strategic space that enables the improvement and transformation of the teachers’ practice by using more motivating methods with their students. The objectives of this paper were to analyze the preparation and training of Physical Education teachers and managers from Manicaragua (Cuba) and to design a practical proposal, through a system of workshops, for the improvement of the preparation and training of Physical Education teachers and managers. Methods: The sample of this study was composed of 11 teachers of Physical Education, 4 Physical Education methodologists and 5 Physical Education managers of the Municipality Manicaragua (Cuba). The methods used were analysis of documents, surveys, observation, interviews and criteria of specialists. Findings: Currently there are teachers without enough pedagogical training and with methodological deficiencies, and managers without the necessary experience to help them to eliminate these difficulties. This situation points to the need for a differentiated methodological preparation and training of these teachers to take on the challenges of contemporary Physical Education classes. Conclusions: Taking into account the results of this study, a system of workshops is presented for the preparation and training of Physical Education teachers and managers in Manicaragua. This workshop proposal was valued very positively by the specialists surveyed, given the role played in the preparation and training for the professional performance of Physical Education teachers and managers.
    Objetivos: La preparación y capacitación permanente de profesores y directivos de Educación Física se ha convertido en un área de interés y preocupación porque constituye un espacio estratégico que posibilita la mejora y la transformación de la práctica del docente al emplear métodos más motivantes con sus alumnos. Los objetivos de este trabajo fueron analizar la preparación y capacitación de profesores y directivos de Educación Física de Manicaragua (Cuba) y diseñar una propuesta práctica, mediante un sistema de talleres, para la mejora de la preparación y capacitación de los profesores y directivos de Educación Física. Métodos: La muestra de este estudio estuvo compuesta por 11 profesores de Educación Física, 4 metodólogos de Educación Física y 5 jefes de cátedras de los 5 Combinados Deportivos del municipio Manicaragua (Cuba). Los métodos utilizados fueron análisis de documentos, encuestas, observación, entrevistas y criterio de especialistas. Resultados: En la actualidad existen profesores sin la suficiente formación pedagógica y con carencias metodológicas, así como directivos sin la experiencia necesaria para ayudarlos a eliminar esas dificultades. Esta situación apunta a la necesidad de una preparación y capacitación metodológica diferenciada de estos profesores para asumir los retos de las clases contemporáneas de Educación Física. Conclusiones: Teniendo en cuenta los resultados de este estudio, se presenta un sistema de talleres para la preparación y capacitación de los profesores y directivos de Educación Física de Manicaragua. Esta propuesta de talleres fue valorada muy positivamente por los especialistas encuestados, dado el papel que juega en la preparación y capacitación para el desempeño profesional de los docentes y directivos de Educación Física.

    Aim: specification of the professionalisation of teachers and educators with the biography and papers of the addressee of the essay dedication. Methods: analyzes and interpretations of the obtained materials. Results: A concise review of the idea of modernization to professionalize teachers is briefly illuminated by the three (known already in the 20th a nd 21st centuries) directions: 1. Orientation towards perfect personality traits when preparing for a teaching profession, 2. Styles of practicing a teaching profession, 3. Social and pedagogical determinants of professional readiness of becoming a teacher. The article draws changes in the concept of teacher-educator education. Conclusions: By exemplifying the subject, it exposes the paths of self-education, further training and professional development. The issue requires updating the reflections of new ways of achieving assumptions both during education in the profession and in the course of work, in order to adapt to dynamically changing social and pedagogical circumstances. The modernisation of sine qua non is subject to comprehensively integrated support for the system of these processes. With a prospective synergistic strengthening of the vision of necessary changes, in firstly – the legal pragmatism and then, in the implementation in the education system.

    The contribution deals with the quality of pregradual preparation of teachers in the Slovak Republic. It analysis the causes of continuously decreasing number of secondary school graduates interested in teaching profession. The contribution evaluates present situation in pregradual preparation of teachers regarding the proportion of professional, pedagogical and psychological and didactic part. As far as the didactic part is concerned, the contribution points out the need for new approaches to be applied supporting digital technologies.
    Omówiono jakość przygotowanie nauczycieli do zawodu w Republice Słowackiej. Przeanalizowano przyczyny stale zmniejszającej się liczby absolwentów szkół średnich zainteresowanych pracą nauczycieli. Dokonano oceny obecnego przygotowania nauczycieli do zawodu w zakresie kompetencji zawodowych, pedagogicznych, psychologicznych i dydaktycznych. Jeśli chodzi o część dydaktyczną, wskazano na potrzebę nowego podejścia do wykorzystywania technologii cyfrowych.

    Opis:
    John Paul II, in one of his catechesis dedicated to evangelization and catechesis, distinguishes the formation of catechesis as an essential element of the common commitment to the development and vitality of the Church. He points to the need for the formation of all those who are responsible for teaching the truths of the faith, that is, pastors, catechists and all those who have expressed their willingness to help proclaim the Good News. Lack of adequate preparation among those who undertook catechizing leads to small effects and lack of required fruit in catechized people. The broadly understood intellectual formation is intended to deepen the life of faith of the person who serves in catechesis. However, besides the theological knowledge itself, it is important that the catechist is able to develop his own catechetical style. This article analyses the current indications of the Universal Church and the Church in Poland relating to theological education of lay and clerical religion teachers, which is carried out within the framework of studies and later in continuing formation.
    Jan Paweł II w jednej z katechez poświęconych ewangelizacji i katechizacji wyróżnia formację katechetów jako zasadniczy element wspólnego zaangażowania w rozwój i żywotność Kościoła. Wskazuje na potrzebę formacji tych, którzy są odpowiedzialni za nauczanie prawd wiary, a więc duszpasterzy, katechetów i wszystkich, którzy wypowiedzieli swoją chęć pomocy w głoszeniu Dobrej Nowiny. Brak odpowiedniego przygotowania wśród tych, którzy podjęli się katechizowania, prowadzi do braku wymaganych owoców u katechizowanych. Szeroko pojęta formacja intelektualna ma pogłębić życie wiary osoby posługującej w katechezie. Obok jednak samej wiedzy teologicznej przede wszystkim istotne jest, aby katecheta potrafił wypracować własny styl katechetyczny. W artykule poddano analizie aktualne wskazania Kościoła Powszechnego oraz Kościoła w Polsce odnoszące się do kształcenia teologicznego świeckich i duchownych nauczycieli religii, które dokonuje się w ramach studiów oraz później w formacji stałej.

    A number of authors have looked into the problems involved in finding the most appropriate and fundamental competences and capablilities of a teacher that form the basis of his/her professionalism and are becoming more and more essential for changing attitudes towards requirements in the professional preparation and practice of a teacher. This trend has become evident since the 1990s with several overriding tendencies which can be easily identified. F. Oser’s model, which has been widely recognized across Europe, has been the main inspiration for the preparation of the Slovak approach towards teacher competences. The draft of the structure of a teacher competence profile in the Slovak Republic in accordance with European trends and documents is based on the teacher’s competence profile from the interactional model of education with the following three basic dimensions: the pupil, the teacher, and the teaching process which occurs between them. This is the basis for the teacher’s competence profile and it has now become a topic of public debate.

    The paper provides information on the creative dramatic method as one of the innovative trends in preparing the future teachers in social, pedagogical and communication skills. At the same time it presents research findings backed by opinions of students studying to become teachers who have studied creative dramatic (drama education) as part of their curriculum.
    Artykuł przybliża metodę twórczości dramatycznej jako jednego z innowacyjnych trendów obecnych w  przygotowaniu przyszłych nauczycieli w  sferze sprawności społecznej, pedagogicznej i komunikacyjnej. Dostarcza także zebrane dane oparte na poglądach słuchaczy przedmiotów nauczania, którzy ukończyli przedmiot twórczość dramatyczna (wychowanie dramatyczne) w ramach swojego programu studiów.
