Znaleziono metodę obserwacji toru drgań stołu wibracyjnego z dwoma wibratorami zsynchronizowanymi współbieżnie i przeciwbieżnie oraz zbadano amplitudy drgań stołu. Zmierzono wpływ parametrów pracy wibratorów oraz masy stołu wibracyjnego na amplitudy drgań i ruch nasion po stole. Zasugerowano nowe zastosowania zbadanego układu do napędu przesiewaczy i innych maszyn wibracyjnych.
The method for observing the vibration track of the vibrating table with two counter-synchronized and concurrently vibrators was found. The amplitude of the table was examined. Measured The impact of working parameters of vibrators and vibrating table weight on the amplitude of vibration and movement of seeds on the table was measured. New applications of the studied construction to drive other screens and vibratory machines were suggested.

Opis:
Timetabling problems are often difficult and time-consuming to solve. Most of the methods of solving these problems are limited to one problem instance or class. This paper describes a universal method for solving large, highly constrained timetabling problems in various domains. The solution is based on an evolutionary algorithm framework and employs tabu search to quicken the solution finding process. Hyper-heuristics are used to establish the algorithm's operating parameters. The method has been used to solve three timetabling problems with promising results of extensive experiments.

The present study indicates the quick response of a shallow aquifer to precipitation. The nitrate content in water from 20 wells was determined. The study showed a significant 1-m decrease in the water table in the studied wells at low precipitation levels (10 mm) in April (wells 13 and 16). In turn, the water table in the wells after the maximum rainfall in September (130 mm) increased by 0.5 m in well 19. The results of the chemical analysis of the water indicate that the permissible nitrate content was highly exceeded in wells 3, 17, and 18. The nitrate content in wells 1 and 2 was almost 50 mg/l, which is the permissible value for drinking water. The precipitation level did not influence the content of nitrates in the well water.

Association and relationship is one of the most important tasks in statistical analysis. The main objective of the study is to examine odds ratios as a framework for understanding of contingency tables and log-linear models. Odds ratios are used to measure the association for contingency tables. They can be generalized to larger tables by local odds ratios or by the spanning cell approach. The properties of odds ratios and the relationship with log-linear analysis will be presented in the paper. An example is presented with the use of R.
Analiza zależności w statystyce stanowi jeden z podstawowych tematów badawczych. Celem artykułu jest zaprezentowanie ilorazu szans jako narzędzia opisu tablic kontyngencji, a także parametrów modelu logarytmiczno-liniowego. Iloraz szans jest miernikiem wykorzystywanym do badania związku w tablicach kontyngencji. Miernik ten można także uogólnić do tablic wielodzielczych poprzez użycie lokalnych ilorazów szans oraz podejścia opartego na krzyżowaniu komórek. Zaprezentowane zostaną własności ilorazu szans, a także ich związek z parametrami interakcji w analizie logarytmiczno-liniowej. Prezentacja ilorazu szans w części empirycznej zostanie zaprezentowana przy użyciu programu R.

Opis:
Theoretical analysis of shaking table experiments, simulating earthquake response of a dry sand layer, is presented. The aim of such experiments is to study seismic-induced compaction of soil and resulting settlements. In order to determine the soil compaction, the cyclic stresses and strains should be calculated first. These stresses are caused by the cyclic horizontal acceleration at the base of soil layer, so it is important to determine the stress field as function of the base acceleration. It is particularly important for a proper interpretation of shaking table tests, where the base acceleration is controlled but the stresses are hard to measure, and they can only be deduced. Preliminary experiments have shown that small accelerations do not lead to essential settlements, whilst large accelerations cause some phenomena typical for limit states, including a visible appearance of slip lines. All these problems should be well understood for rational planning of experiments. The analysis of these problems is presented in this paper. First, some heuristic considerations about the dynamics of experimental system are presented. Then, the analysis of boundary conditions, expressed as resultants of respective stresses is shown. A particular form of boundary conditions has been chosen, which satisfies the macroscopic boundary conditions and the equilibrium equations. Then, some considerations are presented in order to obtain statically admissible stress field, which does not exceed the Coulomb-Mohr yield conditions. Such an approach leads to determination of the limit base accelerations, which do not cause the plastic state in soil. It was shown that larger accelerations lead to increase of the lateral stresses, and the respective method, which may replace complex plasticity analyses, is proposed. It is shown that it is the lateral stress coefficient K0 that controls the statically admissible stress field during the shaking table experiments.

The text summarizes and reviews the round table organized on the 19th September 2019 at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb with the main goal to investigate the methodological and thematic approaches to the avant-garde related to the concept of revolution. The scientists from Zagreb and Belgrade, Tatjana Jukić, Predrag Brebanović, Danijela Lugarić and Branislav Oblučar, presented their contributions to debate around the above-mentioned themes. Literature as well as revolution were examined in the theoretical and historical context of the avant-garde. Public debate showed that these issues have been still sparking vivid interest in the academic, artistic and intellectual world. The round table was organized as part of the project Literary Revolutions established by the Croatian science foundation 2018-017020.

They allow training of various activities, such as reaction speed, memorization of patterns, manual skills and control of muscle contractions. The modules are connected to a system that allows data collection to create databases. Due to its innovative form, the table is a useful device for assisting therapy in psychogeriatric centers.

Mathematical models representing power losses in tilting rotary tables with a direct drive system (increasingly often used in CNC machine tools) are presented. The process of creating an FEM model for computing the heating up and thermal deformation of tilting rotary tables is described. A simple way of verifying the FEM model on the basis of motor catalogue specifications is provided. Exemplary results of computations and thermal analyses carried out for a tilting rotary table with a synchronized two-sided direct drive system are reported.

A pair of rotation Risley prisms can perform superior optical pointing and tracking functions with large visual field and high accuracy. Crucial to the function implementation are the nonlinear inverse solutions to the double-prism orientation angles for tracking a given target trajectory. In the paper, a novel look-up table method is proposed to solve this problem. Because there are two groups of solutions to the rotation angles achieved from an arbitrary target point, a "jump" phenomenon occurs and generates the discontinuous curves of multi-group rotation angle solutions. According to the mapping relation between the coordinate values of the target point and the corresponding rotation angles of two prisms, we can establish the continuous solution curves by adding constraints and employing an optimization algorithm. Experimental results validate the obtained inverse solutions applicable to scan a trajectory close to the given one within an error threshold. The proposed look-up table method can provide foundation for the continuous control of the Risley-prism-based scanner in its inverse applications.Keywords: Risley prism, look-up table method, inverse solution, scanner.

The primarily goal of this study is to reveal a scaled soil-structure interaction model for small capacity shaking table testing instead of the full-scale field experiments. The prototype of soil-structure interaction system with frame-type building, resting on a sandy soil with shear wave velocity of 536 m/s and unit weight of 12.9 kN/m³ has been selected. For experimental investigations, the realistic site and building structures are scaled with a geometric scaling factor of 1:45. The test model, consisting of six-story steel frame-type building, natural soil and laminar soil container, is designed and constructed to realistically simulate the seismic soil-structure interaction effects of building structures in shaking table tests. In order to verify the geometric scaling factor, the dynamic properties of the fixed-base system for both prototype and scaled model are determined by using finite element analysis. Furthermore, the dynamic parameters for scaled model of a single layer soil, restricted with base-rock, have been compared numerically with the proposed laminar soil container, to provide a good agreement.

The article presents a proposal of use a decision table to support the decision-making process in scope of maintenance management in mining companies. In particular, it refers to decisions related to evaluation and improvement of mining machinery use in the mining production process. The article presents the theoretical foundations of decision tables building and characteristics of the most important stages of creating this table. This whole process was tried to refer specifically the mining industry. For this reason, during construction of the decision tables, the results of research on the effectiveness of the selected mining machines were used. The conducted research provided a lot of data, information and knowledge on the work of the particular mining machines, especially regarding the number and reasons for unplanned breaks during the machines’ work. The developed decision table will consist of conditions, rules and actions whose purpose is to define the recommendations for the particular groups of participants in the mining production process. The obtained results will form the basis for the development of the recommendations and proposals of actions to improve the level of use of mining machines. The authors focused mainly on the practical use of tables to support the decision-making process regarding maintenance and improvement of effectiveness of mining machines. The obtained results confirm the validity of the adopted assumptions. Decision tables can become an important tool that supports the decision-making process within mining companies.
