- This article provides a list of errors methodology national income to fulfill international standards: the system of national accounting (SNA-93), the European System of Accounts (ESA-95) and the updated version of the SNA-93 – SNA 2008. On the example of the Russian Federation published statistics showing the absolute and relative size of distortions calculated values of national income as used in the calculations above regulations. The recommendations for changes in the methodology of calculating the national income and other macroeconomic indicators in order to monitor the effectiveness of national economic development and improve the objectivity of international comparisons of macroeconomic indicators.
