Artykuł stanowi wprowadzenie do tomu „Przeglądu Socjologii Jakościowej” poświęconego socjologii i antropologii w ich wzajemnych relacjach. Obie dziedziny zostały w nim opisane jako systemy komunikacyjne w perspektywie teorii Niklasa Luhmanna, by za pomocą przywołanej w ten sposób pojęciowości oraz mechaniki procesów systemowych ująć w perspektywie diachronicznej problem granic obu dziedzin. Autorki pokazują na przykładach tekstów konstytutywnych dla socjologii i antropologii, jak wyróżnicowywały się one, domykały i zaznaczały swoje granice, by później – głównie ze względu na zwielokrotnione i niejednorodne odniesienia do środowiska – nie być w stanie ich utrzymać.

The architecture of wide-band synchronous automated systems of data communication (ASDC) enables utilization of high accuracy measurement of the signal reception times to relative navigation in the network. In this contribution an operation analysis of such systems in the relative navigation mode is conducted. The accuracy and possibilities of the utilization of these systems were examined by modeling in air navigation.

Przedmiotem artykułu jest diagram procesu wprowadzania danych do systemu IT jako narzędzie usprawniające proces komunikowania wewnątrz przedsiębiorstwa. Badania o charakterze obserwacyjnym, przeprowadzone w rzeczywistych warunkach przedsiębiorstwa produkującego elementy maszyn, dostarczyły wiedzy na temat jakości przekazywania informacji pomiędzy różnymi jednostkami organizacyjnymi wewnątrz firmy, a jednocześnie pomiędzy użytkownikami systemu IT, stąd koncepcja zastosowania diagramu jako narzędzia organizatorskiego w procesie wprowadzania danych. W celu właściwego rozumienia zagadnienia, zaprezentowano istotę procesu komunikowania organizacyjnego i podstawowe modele komunikowania w przedsiębiorstwie, jak również właściwości diagramu i celowość jego wykorzystania.
The subject of the paper is a process diagram of data input to an IT system, as a tool to improve the communication process inside an enterprise. Observational research, conducted under real conditions in a company producing machine parts, provided knowledge about the quality of communication between various organizational units within the enterprise and between the IT system users, hence the concept of using the diagram as an organizational tool in the data input process. For a correct understanding of the issue, the essence of the organizational communication process and basic communication models inside the enterprise are presented, as well as the diagram’s properties and expedience of its utilization.

Opis:
On the basis of the existing and unquestioned linguistic stance, a division of all the living creatures inhabiting the Earth into those which do not have language (i.e. prehuman and languageless) and those who have language (i.e. the genus Homo sapiens) is postulated. The paper briefly discusses a rich diversity of communication modes occurring in the domain of the prehuman communication systems, such as the auditory, visual, tactile, olfactory, electric, thermal, and seismic ones, with appropriate graphic illustrations. Furthermore, on the basis of the phenomenon of the observable shrinking of this diversity and the key position of the human species, it postulates the necessity of preserving this diversity in the context of biodiversity. This major postulate is in accord with the need to intensify attempts to preserve biodiversity as well as preserve the remaining diversity on the level of the prehuman communication systems as a major challenge of modern humanity. In this context, the human species is considered here as the species of the ‘overseers’ and ‘archivers’ of all the existing communication systems existing on the Earth as the carrier of the tree of life.

The paper presents a comparative framework for understanding the emerging media systems in so-called third-wave democracies. Three pathways of democratization are distinguished – from communist oligarchy in Eastern Europe, from military dictatorship in Latin America, and from one-party dictatorship in Asia and Africa. Following Hallin & Mancini’s approach the paper then discusses for each of these pathways the particular patterns of transition of media markets, state-me- dia relationships, political parallelism, and journalistic professionalism. The paper concludes by argu- ing that Western models of media systems cannot be easily applied to new democracies. Instead, new hybrid forms of political communication are emerging that blend liberal ideals of a free press with the trajectories of the past, indigenous values and the constraints and experiences of transition.

Reliability of production systems in enterprises is increasingly dependent on the availability of ICT systems that supervise them. The research presented in this paper focuses on the improvement of the availability of ICT systems by identifying possibilities of further automation of their maintenance processes. After preliminary research, it has been concluded that the possibility of further automation by using artificial intelligence methods to support decision making regarding the improvement of ICT systems is worth considering. The main aim of the paper was to carry out research into the possibilities of using and implementing artificial intelligence to support decision making regarding the improvement of ICT systems.

W dyspozytorniach zakładów górniczych eksploatuje się wiele różnych systemów telekomunikacyjnych. Systemy te mogą pracować pod nadzorem systemu dyspozytorskiego THOR, który zapewnia ich integrację oraz ujednolicone przetwarzanie i prezentację danych użytkownikowi. W artykule przedstawiono istotne zagadnienie, jakim jest komunikacja między autonomicznymi systemami i systemem dyspozytorskim THOR. Wyjaśniono strukturę, sposób działania i zadania sterowników komunikacyjnych, dedykowanych programów komputerowych, które realizują funkcje komunikacji między systemami. Przedstawiono opracowane i zastosowane w istniejących instalacjach kopalnianych metody oraz protokoły komunikacji między systemami.
In the control rooms of mining operate a variety of telecommunications systems. These systems can work under the supervision of the THOR dispatcher system, which ensures their integration and unified processing and presentation of data to the user. The article presents important issue, which is the communication between autonomous systems and THOR dispatcher system. It explains the structure, activities and tasks of the communication drivers, dedicated computer programs, that perform the functions of communication between systems. Presents developed methods and protocols for communication between systems used in existing mining installations.

Zaprezentowano sposób rozwiązania funkcjonalnego cyfrowego systemu do pomiarów przebiegów niepożądanych na wyjściu odbiornika radiokomunikacyjnego. Dzięki zastosowaniu operacji rozdzielania składowej losowej i zdeterminowanej, w części programowej-komputerowej systemu, uzyskano bardzo małe błędy wyznaczonych parametrów. Omówiono zalety prezentowanego systemu pomiarowego w porównaniu z zalecanymi w odnośnych normach układami pomiarowymi. Podano wybrane wyniki pomiarów parametrów określających intensywność szumów i zakłóceń na wyjściu odbiornika, które uzyskano z zastosowaniem cyfrowego systemu pomiarowego opracowanego w Katedrze Radioelektroniki Morskiej w Akademii Morskiej w Gdyni.
The way of the functional solution of the digital system for measurement of the unwanted signals at the communication receiver output has been presented. Thanks to using the separating operation of the random and determined components by the software, the very low measurement errors of the estimated parameters have been achieved. Advantages of the presented measuring system in comparison with these recomended by the norms measuring circuits have been discussed. Chosen results of the measurement of the parameters determine intensity of the noise and the interference at the receiver output have been given.

The 4th Space concept is a very challenging and puzzling one. The tremendous technological progress of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) or Computer-Mediated Communication (CMC), ubiquitous computing, and Extended Reality (XR) make the Gibsonian Cyberspace Matrix an imminent reality in the future. Although, some features can be made more salient, the structure, but most importantly, the effects of living in such environment for human consciousness and morality is almost impossible to predict. Hence, the requisite of a proactionary and comprehensive scientific and technical paradigm for designing the 4th Space, in order to facilitate the adaptation of human species to the brave new technological world, while preserving the humanness and humanism of the humans.

The paper deals with the impact of the social background for developmental disorders, searching for unfavorable factors in the three most important surroundings – family, school, contemporary group. Hence the analysis was made with signs of improper interpersonal relations and life conditions encroaching on mental balance that can be found in social agencies (school, family), responsible for personal development and behavior. Basing upon selected theoretical works and my diagnostic and therapeutic experience, various negative effects on personal development were illustrated, given the ill-adapted familial and educational systems, as well as informal roles played in contemporary groups. The paper got its material focused on the familial environment where personality traits and parental attitudes, ways of communication and pathological mechanisms permanently generate factors that appear unfavorable for personal social development (toxic messages, enforced loyalty, role delegation,collusion relationships). A particular emphasis was put on the role of social factors in the origins of both primary and secondary disorders, and on the fact that signs of difficulties and disorders a youngster meets may be an indirect reaction to factors infringing on his/her psychological balance or else – actualized belatedly when assuming new social roles.

Self-regulation of the media can have a significant impact on the formation of journalistic culture and ethical standards of the media. Its effectiveness depends, however, on the degree of institutionalization of the self-regulating tools and their acceptance. The levels of compliance vary across the spectrum of the media systems, usually due to their historical conditioning. This article aims at presenting the historical development of self-regulation in the French, British and Finnish media sectors (which represent three models of media systems in Daniel Hallin and Paolo Mancini’s typology) and comparing them with the development of similar self-regulatory mechanisms in Poland.
Samoregulacja mediów może mieć istotny wpływ na kształtowanie się kultury dziennikarskiej i poziomu etycznego mediów. Jej skuteczność jest jednak uzależniona od stopnia instytucjonalizacji narzędzi samoregulacyjnych i ich powszechnej akceptacji. Różny jest ten poziom w różnych systemach medialnych, co często warunkowane jest historycznie. Artykuł za cel przyjmuje prezentację historycznego rozwoju samoregulacji trzech systemów medialnych (francuskiego, brytyjskiego i fińskiego) wpisujących się w trzy różne modele systemów medialnych opisane przez Daniela Hallina i Paolo Manciniego i zestawienie ich z rozwojem samoregulacji mediów w Polsce.

Dodatkowo omówiono kwestię bezpieczeństwa w odniesieniu do procesów realizowanych w utworzonym laboratorium i ochronę aktywów związanych z tymi procesami.

This paper describes in particular Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) applicable in Global Mobile Satellite Communications (GMSC). In satellite communication systems, as a rule, especially in GMSC networks many users are active at the same time. The problem of simultaneous communications between many single or multipoint mobile satellite users, however, can be solved by using Multiple Access Technique (MAT) system. Since the resources of the systems such as the transmitting power and the bandwidth are limited, it is advisable to use the channels with complete charge and to create a different MAT to the channel. This generates a problem of summation and separation of signals in the transmission and reception parts, respectively. Deciding this problem consists in the development of orthogonal channels of transmission in order to divide signals from various users unambiguously on the reception part.
