Opis:
Community Source to nowoczesny temat; który przynosi korzyści biznesowi; społeczeństwu i środowisku. Do tej pory stosowanie CE było ograniczone do pewnych obszarów, które nie obejmują dziedziny rozwoju systemów informatycznych. Z tego punktu widzenia model Community Source można uznać za obszar do badania praktyk CE w rozwoju systemów informatycznych. CE to nowy model w rozwoju oprogramowania, który jest pośrednikiem między dwoma dobrze znanymi modelami (systemy zamknięte i otwarte). Potencjalnym obszarem zainteresowań naukowych są praktyki CE występujące w projektach wykorzystujących model Community Source. Uruchomiono projekt kompleksowej analizy tego zjawiska. W artykule przedstawiono wyniki wstępnych badań, których celem było zbadanie praktyk CE w projektach Community Source. Podczas prac terenowych przebadano projekty wykorzystujące model CE w krajach UE. Wstępne badanie wykazało, że praktyki, takie jak recykling i dzielenie się zasobami, prawdopodobnie można znaleźć w tych projektach. Pojawił się nowy rodzaj materiału – „miękki materiał”, wraz z popularnymi typami materiałów wcześniej zidentyfikowanymi w CE, a mianowicie „biologicznymi” i „technicznymi”. W artykule omówiono również wstępnie strategię Circular Community w zakresie postępowania z e-odpadami.

Zaproponowano metodę projektowania m-optymalnej struktury OD względem zredukowanego hipersześcianu wymiaru n, gdzie n > m, która bazuje na spójnym rdzeniu struktury m-optymalnej.
A diagnostic opinion system is such a diagnostic system which is self-diagnosable - which means that in the system there exists an algorithm capable of identifying its faulty elements. In this article, it was proposed a method of designing such m-optimal system of PMC type which is the edge-induced subgraph of reduced hypercube. A specific method is based on a special class of undirected digraphs called the core. The core is an edge-induced subgraph of an m-optimal strongly connected component obtained by deleting all directed arches. Once the core is constructed, the strongly connected component is obtained by supplementing it with missing directed arches of reduced hypercube which are not in set of core edges. In order to have m-optimal structure, the obtained graph has to exhibit the so-called Hakimi and Amin Properties.

Sleep is a very important aspect of human life, as it is responsible for regulation of the circadian cycle, body regeneration and reduction of harmful metabolites. Sleep deprivation can be associated with chronic stress, which can have an extremely negative impact on bodily function. The presented study covered 220 students of medical faculties; their correlations between the sleep quality and the level of perceived stress were analyzed. Sleep quality was measured using the PSQI (Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index), and perceived stress was measured using PSS-10 (10-Item Perceived Stress Scale). A high correlation was shown between the PSQI and PSS-10 results (rs = 0.60), which means that people who were characterized by a low sleep quality also showed a high level of perceived stress. Among the PSQI components that were the most correlated with PSS-10, can be counted in such components as C1 (subjective sleep quality, rs = 0.50), C2 (sleep latency,  rs = 0.51), and C7 (daytime dysfunctions, rs = 0.52). Mobile phone usage at bedtime has also been demonstrated to correlate with poor sleep quality. The study shows a significant relationship between sleep quality and the level of perceived stress, which has also been shown in other studies.

The family is the environment that leaves its mark and imprint the most in the structure of the human identity. This is because of both the broadly reaching and permanent character of impacts. Every family creates and regulates its particular familial identity. It can be seen as a kind of azimuth of feeling of being a member of an important, specific family community, despite the changes that are taking place in and around us. The text presents the results of research conducted in the group of academic youth regarding the level of the sense of satisfaction with the functioning of their family of origin and an attempt to capture the determinants of them. There are significant differences in the range of predictors building models for the whole group, compared to models built separately for the group of males and females. This indicates a high level of diversity in the perception of the family of origin system among the surveyed students. Analyses of the presented models show the image of academic youth who, in their life orientations, highly values the family as the basic reference point in the construction of their own identity. There is a visible focus on the community nature of its functioning, the quality of the relations of individual members of the system and the possibility of participating in the rules and rules developed in the family. The family identity that develops with said rules is a kind of negotiated creation of the family traditions recognized by them, with simultaneous outlined tendencies of deconstruction of the existing model ways of capturing the family structure, in favor of seeking a different view, which is a kind of adaptation of the system to dynamically changing socio-cultural conditions.

The article has considered the general principles and capabilities of the medical support of NATO troops, confirmed the expediency of further transformation of tasks and functions of the state in terms of medical support of troops (forces) of the security and defense sector of Ukraine in crises through the approximation to the relevant NATO standards, justified the need to implement the Euro-Atlantic experience of rendering medical care, use the general framework of categories and concepts, principles of the evaluation of capabilities (assets) of medical support which will contribute to the development of integrated medical space for medical defense of troops (forces) and elaboration of individual crisis response model taking into account the basic international requirements. The authors have determined the priority tasks of further cooperation between Ukraine and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization in the context of the reforms of medical logistics. It has been substantiated the need to keep reforming military medicine in conformity with NATO standards and recommendations that will promote an active involvement of medical services of troops (forces) in medical support of national and multi-domestic contingents during crises and adaptation of interoperable medical capabilities of joint missions under the auspices of NATO and the UN. The research has analyzed the mechanisms of interdepartmental coordination on medical support of troops (forces) and proved the feasibility of using the experience of NATO member states in the organization and functioning of the system of medical support of the military contingent with the adaptation of NATO doctrinal documents to the realities of modern Ukraine.

This study aimed to determine the concepts learned in Navigation and Seamanship as well as the level of satisfaction of students’ in using the training ship in terms of food, accommodation, readiness of venue, quantity of equipment, activities, speakers, and ships’ crew. The respondents of this study were the 129 students of JBLFMU-Arevalo. They were selected through stratified and cluster sampling. A questionnaire was sent to the respondents through e-mail and Facebook messenger to gather the data. The comments of the students were classified according to themes. For BSMT 1 – Familiarization and Ship Tour, in Navigation, the themes are learning the ship nomenclature and manipulating the different navigational equipment onboard, inculcating skills to plan and manage a ship for safety voyage, employing the concepts learned about the various ship positioning to arrive at the port or point of destination, and refining the importance of learning the qualities of a competent navigator. In Seamanship, the themes are enhancing concepts learned about the importance of prioritizing safety on board and learning the International Maritime Law, learning the important purposes and uses of the different navigational equipment on board, improving skills on proper operation of the ship, and uplifting the duties and responsibilities of officers and crew members on board. For BSMT 2, Port and Anchor Watch, in Navigation, the themes are, learning the uses and importance of the different navigational equipment on board, different types of navigation use to navigate accurately, employing the concepts learned about the various ship positioning to arrive at the port or point of destination, uplifting the duties and responsibilities of officers and crew members on board, and defining navigation for watercraft. In Seamanship, the themes are learning about anchor operations, familiarizing different parts of the ship, integrating seamanship skills in navigation, enhancing concepts learned about the importance of prioritizing safety on board, learning mooring operation, and definition of seamanship. For BSMT 3, Navigational Trip, in Navigation, the theme is learning the different navigational equipment on board and for Seamanship, improving seamanship skills. Having different themes for every year level indicates that the students have actually learned various knowledge about Navigation and Seamanship during their stay onboard the training ship. For the students’ level of satisfaction, the grand mean is described as “High”. This means that some aspects are good in terms of food, accommodation, venue, quantity of equipment, activities, speakers, and ships’ crew. This study concludes that the concepts learned by students’ in Navigation and Seamanship varies in each activity. Furthermore, the students were highly satisfied in using the training ship’s amenities in terms of food, accommodation, readiness of venue, quantity of equipment, activities, speakers, and ships’ crew. The researchers recommend another follow-up study to include respondents from other units as well and some other non - JBLFMU/JBLCF students utilizing the training ship to further validate the results, reduce the number of students participating in every activity to optimum to maximize the outcome intended for each activity, and finally, create a multiple choice questionnaire to assess better the concepts learned and to be given personally to the respondents.

In the article the ProSIL software for computer aided functional safety management is presented. The software consists of three modules for the determination of the required SIL level (ProSILen) and verification of the SIL level (ProSILver). In the ProSIL the calibrated knowledge-based risk graph method for determining the required safety integrity level (SIL) of the safety functions identified in hazard analysis is implemented. The SILs are then verified for safety-related control and protection systems implementing relevant functions with regard to random failures and potential systematic failures. The assessment methods are compatible with international standards IEC 61508 and IEC 61511. Some current challenges and methodological issues concerning knowledge-based functional safety management in life cycle are also discussed.

W artykule opisano wymagania stawiane układom sterowania napędu rogatkowego. Omówiono stosowane układy stycznikowe sterowania napędu JEGD-50. Przedstawiono opracowane układy hybrydowe sterowania tego napędu, w których funkcję elementu łączącego obwód silnika spełnia łącznik półprzewodnikowy, sterowany przez układ przekaźnikowy zbudowany z miniaturowych przekaźników przemysłowych. Dokonano analizy wyników badań tych układów.
The paper provides the requirements to be met by the railway barrier control systems. Contractor systems used in the JEGD-50 drive control are discussed. Developed hybrid control systems applied in this system are presented where motor circuit connecting element plays a role of semiconductor switch controlled by a relay system consisting of miniature industrial relays. An analysis of the results of tests of these systems is also given.

The paper deals with a novel application of the wireless data communication for a continual control of the distributed manipulation systems. The solution is intended for industrial robotic plants. A considered way of the wireless communication is based on ZigBee protocol. The protocol is tested for a real time bidirectional data communication within a manipulation system. The system consists of several moving manipulation units, several stationary auxiliary units and one control computer. The computer provides the cooperation of all units in the system in relation to the user requirements. The system is controlled by a simple feedback multi-level control realized in MATLAB - Simulink environment. The paper is focused on the realization of the boards of power electronics, transmitters, optical positional sensors, optical gates and their networking in accordance with ZigBee protocol definition. The behavior of the ZigBee is illustrated by several records from real experiments.

In this study, the methodological foundations of the technology for the local reduction of chemical pollution from vehicles were improved through the use of twolevel suction units and guide plates of various lengths installed on the nozzles of the suction devices. A program has been developed for the numerical calculation of the carbon monoxide concentration field for evaluating the efficiency of using two-level exhaust systems with different lengths of guide plates on the gas flow selection pipes. The solution of the equations of hydrodynamics and mass transfer is carried out on the basis of finite-difference methods. A number of physical and computational experiments have been carried out; it has been established that the concentration of carbon monoxide in the zone of two-level suctions location decreases by 46-68%.

The article presents the possibility of reducing fees for wastewater discharge from combined sewer overflows (CSOs) into the aquatic environment by minimizing the load emission of total suspended solids (TSS) and chemical oxygen demand (COD). The analysis was conducted based on limiting the wastewater volume discharged to the receiving water by one of the viable options, i.e., raising the overflow crest. The assessment was made on the example of the functioning J1 CSO in Lodz (in Polish: Łódź) in the years 2013–2015. An analysis of rainfall recorded in the J1 catchment area was also performed for this period. For the determination of the TSS and COD load emitted to the receiver, a predictive model based on rainfall parameters and the volume of discharged wastewater was used. To determine the wastewater volume emitted during individual activations of the J1 overflow, the model of the sewer network serving this catchment was calibrated in the EPA SWMM software. Simulations were conducted, considering different heights of the weir crest (static change). The results of the analyzes showed that raising the crest by 5 cm reduced the total fee for the J1 activity by 35% compared to its existing height in 2013 and about 40% for 2015. Raising the crest by 10 cm in 2015 enabled, for example, the J1 overflow activity to be in accordance with the applicable law. Reducing the amount of wastewater discharged to the receiver by using the overflow crest height adjustment method presented in the article may bring measurable financial and ecological benefits.

This paper presents a prototype system being part of an Integrated System of Supporting Information Management in Passenger Traffic (ZSIKRP Demonstrator+). The system is tested on a demonstration scale in real conditions. It should be noted that main problems for carriers, rolling stock manufacturers and factories that modernize rolling stock are: multiple installation manuals and ways of maintenance. They lead to confusion during the exploitation of rolling stock. The prototype system offers an integrated solution with a unified service, which improves the comfort and safety of passengers. Moreover, ZSIKRP system focuses largely on ensuring the safety of travelers in electric EN57 1756 and diesel SA 132 006 vehicles. It takes into account the possibility of practical implementation of the module allowing automatic detection of an improper behavior of drivers. It is done at rail crossings by continuous image analysis and abnormal situations recording.
Artykuł przedstawia prototypowy system będący częścią zintegrowanego systemu wspomagającego zarządzanie informacją w ruchu pasażerskim (ZSIKRP Demonstrator +). System został zweryfikowany w skali demonstracyjnej w rzeczywistych warunkach. Należy zauważyć, że główne problemy dla przewoźników, producentów taboru kolejowego i fabryk, które modernizją tabor kolejowy to: powielane instrukcje instalacyjne i procedury utrzymania. W konsekwencji prowadzą one do nieporozumień w trakcie eksploatacji taboru. Prototypowy system oferuje zintegrowane rozwiązania dla ujednoliconych obsług i usług, co wpływa na poprawę komfortu i bezpieczeństwa pasażerów. System ZSIKRP skupia się głównie na zapewnieniu bezpieczeństwa podróżnych w pojazdach EN57 1756 i SA 132 006. Uwzględniono również możliwość praktycznego wdrożenia modułu umożliwiającego automatyczne wykrywanie nieprawidłowego zachowania kierowców. Przekroczenie dopuszczalnych poziomów hałasu na stanowisku operatora kombajnu ZO-58 stanowi podstawę przeprowadzenia analiz akustycznych zmierzających do poprawy klimatu akustycznego. Etapy opracowania obejmują analizę widma amplitudowo częstotliwościowego hałasu dla dominujących stref emisji oraz dobór przegród akustycznych i tłumika absorpcyjnego w kanałach wentylacji na podstawie obliczeń akustycznych. Zaproponowano również zastosowanie podwójnego zestawu wentylatorów promieniowych o znanej charakterystyce emisyjności hałasu. Po uprzednim doborze filtra zapylenia o znanym rozkładzie izolacyjności względnej akustycznej dla czerpni wentylatora, zaprojektowano absorpcyjny tłumik akustyczny zlokalizowany w strefie powyżej górnej krawędzi szyby czołowej kabiny na wyjściu zestawu cichobieżnych wentylatorów promieniowych.
Exceeded permissible noise levels at the ZO-58 harvester operator's workplace provide grounds to carry out acoustic analyses aimed to improve acoustic climate. The stages of this work cover analysis of noise amplitude and frequency spectrum for prevailing emission zones and selection of acoustic barriers and absorption suppressor in ventilation ducts on the basis of acoustic computations. Moreover, it is proposed to use a double set of centrifugal fans with known noise emissivity characteristics. As soon as dustiness filter with known distribution of relative acoustic insulating power for the fan intake had been selected, the researchers designed an acoustic absorption suppressor located in the zone above top edge of the cab windscreen at the outlet of a set of noiseless centrifugal fans.
