Opis:
A method for finding of the solutions of the state equations of descriptor fractional discrete-time linear systems with regular pencils and a procedure for computation of transition matrices of the system are proposed. On the basis of this procedure a computer algorithm which calculates the transition matrices and solution of the system is presented. The effectiveness of the proposed procedure and algorithm is demonstrated on analytical and numerical examples.
W pracy zaprezentowano metodę wyznaczania rozwiązań singularnych układów dyskretnych niecałkowitych rzędów o pęku regularnym. W rozdziale 2 przedstawiono rozwiązanie równania stanu tej klasy układów. Procedurę wyznaczania macierzy tranzycji tego rozwiązania zaprezentowano w rozdziale 3 oraz podano przykład numeryczny wyznaczania rozwiązania równania stanu (Example 1). W rozdziale 4 przedstawiono komputerowy algorytm wyznaczania macierzy tranzycji rozwiązania singularnych dyskretnych układów niecałkowitego rzędu (rys. 1). Działanie algorytmu zostało zilustrowane przykładami numerycznymi (Example 2 i Example 3). Dla otrzymanych rozwiązań wykreślono przebiegi składowych wektorów stanu (rys. 2 i rys. 3). W rozdziale 5 zamieszczono podsumowanie. W oparciu o rozważania z pracy można otrzymać analogiczną procedurę wyznaczania macierzy tranzycji dla singularnych układów ciągłych niecałkowitego rzędu o pęku regularnym. Problemem otwartym jest opracowanie metody rozwiązania równań stanu singularnych układów dwuwymiarowych ciągłych i dyskretnych niecałkowitych rzędów o regularnych pękach.

The purpose of this paper is to provide sufficient conditions for the stabilizability of weak solutions of stochastic dif- ferential systems when both the drift and diffusion are affine in the control. This result extends the well–known theorem of Jurdjevic–Quinn (Jurdjevic and Quinn, 1978) to stochastic differential systems under weaker conditions on the system coefficients than those assumed in Florchinger (2002).

Opis:
We are interested in the solution of Horizontal Linear Complementarity Problems, HLCPs, that is complementarity problems with more variables than equations. Globally metrically regular HLCPs have nonempty solution sets that are stable with respect to "right-hand-side perturbations" of the data, hence are numerically attractive. The main purpose of the paper is to show how the stability on conditioning properties of globally metrically regular HLCPs are preserved by a homotopy framework for solving the HLCP that finds a "stable" direcaion at each iteration as a local minimizer of a strongly convex quadratic program with linear complementarity constraints, QPCC. Apart from intrinsic interest in numerical solution of HLCPs, this investigation has application in solving horizontal nonlinear complementarity problems and more broadly in the area of mathematical programs with complementarity constraints, MPCCs.

Opis:
The linear 3D piezoelasticity theory along with active damping control (ADC) strategy are applied for non-stationary vibroacoustic response suppression of a doubly fluid-loaded functionally graded piezolaminated (FGPM) composite hollow cylinder of infinite length under general time-varying excitations. The control gain parameters are identified and tuned using Genetic Algorithm (GA) with a multi-objective performance index that constrains the key elasto-acoustic system parameters and control voltage. The uncontrolled and controlled time response histories due to a pair of equal and opposite impulsive external point loads are calculated by means of Durbin’s numerical inverse Laplace transform algorithm. Numerical simulations demonstrate the superior (good) performance of the GA-optimized distributed active damping control system in effective attenuation of sound pressure transients radiated into the internal (external) acoustic space for two basic control configurations. Also, some interesting features of the transient fluid-structure interaction control problem are illustrated via proper 2D time domain images and animations of the 3D sound field. Limiting cases are considered and accuracy of the formulation is established with the aid of a commercial finite element package as well as comparisons with the current literature.

W artykule zostały przedstawione wybrane rozwiązania informatyczne prezentowane przez firmy zajmujące się projektowaniem rozkładów jazdy w miastach dla przedsiębiorstw świadczących usługi transportu zbiorowego.
Professional transport companies are facing a variety of challenges each day, from increasing passenger numbers, improving service quality, and reducing operating costs and handling costs. In order to achieve successful targets in this area, it is necessary to implement effective system software for scheduling. The article presents selected IT solutions presented by companies dealing with the design of urban timetables for companies providing public transport services.

In this paper, we found two new classes of solutions to the Einstein-Maxwell system of equations for compact stars assuming an anisotropic pressure and a linear equation of state for the matter distribution within the framework of MIT-Bag Model with a particular form of the metric function. The exact solutions can be written in terms of elementary function in presence of an electromagnetic field. All the obtained models have a singularity in the charge density but not admit singularities in the matter and metric functions at the centre.

Definitions of the componentwise asymptotic stability and of the exponential stability are extended for positive discrete-time linear systems with delays. Necessary and sufficient conditions for the componentwise asymptotic stability and the exponential stability are established.
