Opis:
Genetic algorithm is a soft computing method that works on set of solutions. These solutions are called chromosome and the best one is the absolute solution of the problem. The main problem of this algorithm is that after passing through some generations, it may be produced some chromosomes that had been produced in some generations ago that causes reducing the convergence speed. From another respective, most of the genetic algorithms are implemented in software and less works have been done on hardware implementation. Our work implements genetic algorithm in hardware that doesn’t produce chromosome that have been produced in previous generations. In this work, most of genetic operators are implemented without producing iterative chromosomes and genetic diversity is preserved. Genetic diversity causes that not only don’t this algorithm converge to local optimum but also reaching to global optimum. Without any doubts, proposed approach is so faster than software implementations. Evaluation results also show the proposed approach is faster than hardware ones.

The present paper deals with ТЕМ propagation of waves along lossless transmission lines terminated by a crystal oscillator circuit. The crystal oscillator circuit generates nonlinear boundary conditions derived by the Kirchhoff’s law. Then the mixed problem for the hyperbolic transmission line system to an initial value problem for neutral system on the boundary is reduced. The main purpose of the present paper is to show an existence-uniqueness of a periodic solution of the neutral system. This is achieved by introducing a suitable operator acting on a space of periodic functions. Its fixed point is a periodic solution of the neutral system. The advantages of the presented method on numerical example are demonstrated. The solution can be obtained by successive approximations.

Results of a steady-state analysis performed for a class of distributed parameter systems described by hyperbolic partial differential equations defined on a one-dimensional spatial domain are presented. For the case of the system with two state variables and two boundary inputs, the analytical expressions for the steady-state distribution of the state variables are derived, both in the exponential and in the hyperbolic form. The influence of the location of the boundary inputs on the steady-state response is demonstrated. The considerations are illustrated with a practical example of a shell and tube heat exchanger operating in parallel- and countercurrent-flow modes.

We study a controllability problem for a system governed by a semilinear functional differential inclusion in a Banach space in the presence of impulse effects and delay. Assuming a regularity of the multivalued non-linearity in terms of the Hausdorff measure of noncompactness we do not require the compactness of the evolution operator generated by the linear part of inclusion. We find existence results for mild solutions of this problem under various growth conditions on the nonlinear part and on the jump functions. As example, we consider the controllability of an impulsive system governed by a wave equation with delayed feedback.

The model for the free nonlinear oscillation of the slider-crank mechanism is very complicated and difficult to solve accurately using most of the existing approximate analytical schemes. However, the continuous piecewise linearization method (CPLM), which is a recently proposed semi-analytical algorithm, is capable of producing simple and accurate periodic solutions for conservative systems irrespective of the complexity of the nonlinear restoring force. Hence, this study applied the CPLM to solve and analyze the complex nonlinear oscillations arising in the slider-crank mechanism. The CPLM results were verified using numerical solutions and it was found that the CPLM solution was accurate to less than 1.0% for angular amplitudes up to 165°. Analysis of the frequency-amplitude response revealed the existence of asymptotic behaviour as the ratio of the crank radius to the connecting rod length approaches zero or unity. Hence, oscillation models for the observed asymptotic responses were derived and found to be significantly simpler compared to the original oscillation model. Finally, analysis of the large-amplitude oscillations of the slider-crank mechanism revealed the presence of strong anharmonic response.

In this paper a difference method of solving the system of differential equations is presented for differential equations, describing the distribution of temperature and water content in the greenhouse substrate heated with a system of heating pipes. The algorithm of solving the proposed method (explicite-implicite difference scheme) is presented. In addition, the effects of temperature and water content changes obtained from the solution of proposed the model as well as the model where the thermal diffusion of mass was included were compared.

The aim of this paper is to investigate dense linear algebra algorithms on shared memory multicore architectures. The design and implementation of a parallel tiled WZ factorization algorithm which can fully exploit such architectures are presented. Three parallel implementations of the algorithm are studied. The first one relies only on exploiting multithreaded BLAS (basic linear algebra subprograms) operations. The second implementation, except for BLAS operations, employs the OpenMP standard to use the loop-level parallelism. The third implementation, except for BLAS operations, employs the OpenMP task directive with the depend clause. We report the computational performance and the speedup of the parallel tiled WZ factorization algorithm on shared memory multicore architectures for dense square diagonally dominant matrices. Then we compare our parallel implementations with the respective LU factorization from a vendor implemented LAPACK library. We also analyze the numerical accuracy. Two of our implementations can be achieved with near maximal theoretical speedup implied by Amdahl’s law.

W artykule przedstawiono wybrane aspekty dotyczące realizacji procesu budowy, stosowanych rozwiązań konstrukcyjnych oraz stosowanych systemów sterowania i nadzoru w stacjach elektroenergetycznych 110 kV w aglomeracjach miejskich. Przedstawiono stacje elektroenergetyczne w aglomeracjach miejskich i określono ich rolę w złożonych lokalnych miejskich systemach elektroenergetycznych. Omówiono uwarunkowania formalno-prawne realizacji budowy miejskich stacji elektroenergetycznych 110 kV. Przeanalizowano stosowane w stacjach elektroenergetycznych w aglomeracjach rozwiązania konstrukcyjne oraz systemy sterowania i nadzoru.
In this paper, selected aspects concerned realization of construction process, applied constructional solutions and applied monitoring and control systems in 110 kV city power substations are shown. City power substations are shown and their role in complex local city power systems is described. Formal, legal conditionings of realization of construction of 110 kV city power substations are described. Constructional solutions and monitoring and control systems of 110 kV city power substations are analysed.
