The quality dimensions of an information system, such as system, information, and service qualities, play a crucial role in determining the overall performance of an organization. These quality dimensions are significant as they can impact employee outcomes, which are key factors in determining whether an organization is able to achieve a competitive advantage in the market. The aim of this study is to explore the impact of quality dimensions on employee outcomes such as learning ability, adaptability, and job satisfaction. The research was conducted by distributing a structured survey questionnaire to 300 employees of 8 commercial banks at different management levels. The measurement and structural models were analyzed using Smart PLS. This study employed descriptive analysis to present a comprehensive demographic profile of both the organizations and the participants. Out of the nine hypotheses tested, seven were found to be significant. The findings of this study show that while all three quality dimensions (system, information, and service) of information systems positively affect employee learning, only system and information qualities positively affect employee learning, and as for job satisfaction, only system and service qualities play an important role. Therefore, implementing suitable information systems to improve employee outcomes in an organization, especially a financial organization, is paramount in this information age. This research contributes to understanding information systems, their implementation, and employee outcomes in an organization.

The article describes the process of planning internal audits carried out in the framework of a quality management system based on ISO 9001. The article presents some errors made in the planning process of internal audits. These errors are classified as potential causes of poor effectiveness audits. In the first part this article contains theoretical considerations in the planning of internal audits of quality management systems. The second part of the article presents the results of research. These results illustrate the effects of errors in the planning process of the audit. At the end recommendations for persons responsible for planning audits are included. These recommendations should improve the effectiveness of the internal audit planning, and thereby their value to the organization.

Enterprises functioning on the contemporary market oblige their suppliers to prove that they are ready to fulfil the requirements in a systematic and reproducible way. Such a proof can be an effective Quality Management System, functioning in an enterprise in accordance with ISO 9001-2008 standard. The effectiveness of the system depends among others on the degree of the employees’ involvement in the fulfilment of requirements and regulations resulting from the system documentation. The most frequently applied method for evaluating this effectiveness are reports on internal audits. However, the results of audits are not always sufficient. In the article the author will present an innovative method of evaluating a Quality Management System (QMS), based on the author’s survey study conducted among the employees of an industrial enterprise, which was aimed at exploring their opinions, the degree of engagement and acquaintance of QMS functioning in the enterprise. The results of the conducted research will be used by the Quality Management System Plenipotentiary to improve the system and co-operation between departments functioning in the organisation.

The article presents the author's model of evaluation of the quality of documents in quality management systems. Among others, descriptions of processes that provide users with information on the course or completion of a process are used in management systems for purposes of standardization of processes. In relation to the information satiety curve showing that once a certain level of amount of information is achieved, the quality of decisions taken on the basis of such information decreases, a problem arises with defining such an amount of information in a process description, in order to ensure as rational level for control, as possible. To achieve that, the author suggests a model whose main objective is to automate the activities of designating the characteristics of the process description (information quality) for a specific instance of a process. The initial elements of the model are activities of gathering the data on the process's features and the data on information related requirements of the executors of processes. Later on, the socalled information vector, pointing to a given type of description of a process, must be specified. Then, the types of descriptions of processes are linked with homoge-neous groups of processes that were specified on the basis of parameters that characterize processes.

The article attempts to present the meaning of processes and managing them in the improvement of the quality management system and in the development of an organization. A connection between the improvement of processes and the improvement of the system of quality management was indicated. The processes were introduced as an element of an organizational potential which is not entirely exploited. Basing on the literature and the results of author’s own studies, the problems encountered while improving the processes in practice were presented. Recommendations for future actions were put forward to enable the organization to take full advantage of the opportunities lying in the improvement of processes.

The requirements for measuring instruments used by the organization willing to introduce and maintain the quality system have been presented. The necessity of the periodical calibration or checking of the measuring instruments assuring traceability to national or international standards has been underlined. The traceability chains assuring the necessary requirements have been discussed, the Flow Laboratory of the Institute of Metrology and Measurement Systems was used as an example.

Opis:
Selection and determination of assessment criteria is of great importance for evaluation of the system operation quality. The analysis was made within the research on operation quality of a selected transportation system. This was a real system, operating purposefully, providing passengers with transport tasks, over an assigned urban area and suburbs, according to an established schedule. Such a system of operation is affected by the behaviour of people, functioning of transport means and the environmental impact. On the basis of performed tests, a set of criteria, whose fulfilment degree is crucial for functioning of the analyzed system, has been determined. It must be remembered, though those particular criteria are diversified in terms of their significance for the transportation system assessment. Therefore, the analytic hierarchy process AHP has been applied in this work, in order to establish significance of particular criteria, from the point of view of the set quality requirements for the studied transportation system. The analytic hierarchy process has been used in the papers concerning the problems of quality control and assessment of transportation systems. It is one of several tools supporting the process of selection of the most significant criteria aiming at reduction of the considered vector dimensionality and establishing a set of features, accepted for an assessment of the research object operation quality, while building the resultant model.

The need for new products to suit differentiated customer needs and shorter product life-cycles, forces manufacturers to change or modify products and production systems at more frequent intervals. The objective of this paper is to discuss management of newness within assembly system design in the vehicle industry. Based on a case study covering four assembly development projects, a model using the quality concept of 7M is presented to evaluate the level of newness. The results show that the model provides a promising platform for evaluation of newness.
