This paper presents in-depth the parallel computer algorithm for the determination of characteristic polynomial realisations of dynamic system. The main differences between the depicted method and other state of- the-art solutions include finding not few realisations, but a whole set, and the fact that the found realisations are always minimal among all possible. As digraphsbuilding methods used in the algorithm are NP-complete or NP-hard problems, the algorithm is paralleled and GPGPU (General-Purpose computing on Graphics Processor Units) computation is proposed as the only feasible solution. The article describes in detail the proposed method, discusses it’s complexity, presents optimisation solutions and still open problems. The working algorithm is illustrated with a numerical example and compared to results of other known methods.

Opis:
A microgrid is an appropriate concept for urban areas with high penetration of renewable power generation, which improves the reliability and efficiency of the distribution network at the consumer premises to meet various loads such as domestic, industrial, and agricultural types. Microgrids comprising inverter-based and synchronous generator-based distribution generators can lead to the instability of the system during the islanded mode of operation. This paper presents a study on designing stable microgrids to facilitate higher penetration of solar power generation into a distribution network. A generalized small signal model is derived for a microgrid with static loads, dynamic loads, energy storages, solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, and diesel generators, incorporating the features of dynamic systems. The model is validated by comparing the transient curves given by the model and a transient simulator subjected to step changes. The result shows that full dynamic models of complex systems of microgrids can be built accurately, and the proposed microgrid is stable for all the considered loading situations and solar PV penetration levels according to the small signal stability analysis.

The article discusses the specifics of data exchange in the UHF band RFID systems using semi-passive transponders. In addition to the antenna and the RFID chip, there is also an additional source of energy (eg. battery) in the structure of such transponder. The battery may be used to implement additional functions such as the ability to measure physical quantities (eg. temperature, humidity). In this regard, particular attention was paid to the discussion of phases of communication between transponder and RWD associated with additional data (measurement results). An analysis of transmitted data frames has been presented. The preliminary results of the measurements have shown that the number of memory block transmitted from transponder has an impact on the effectiveness of RFID system.

The article puts forward a hypothesis about the role and the place of “destructive deviations” in identifying indicators of crises that a city is going through, in the processes of its functioning as a complex dynamic system. It also proposes a hypothesis about classification of “destructive deviations” in architecture according to their type and development scenario. The problems of their influence on the transition of a city from a steady state to a crisis and a possible catastrophe are considered. The characteristics of a city system development are viewed in the context of interaction between the forces of stability (order) and changes (development). At the same time, the fact of inevitability of intersystem conflicts in such a complex formation as a city is regarded as obvious. In the conducted study, the concept of “Destructive deviations” is part of the method of identifying “Crisis indicators” , which, in turn, is necessary to create a model complex designed for modeling, analyzing and managing the architectural component of a city as a dynamic system.

Opis:
The paper concerns the problem of decomposition of a large-scale linear dynamic system into two subsystems. An equivalent problem is to split the characteristic polynomial of the original system into two polynomials of lower degrees. Conditions are found concerning the coefficients of the original polynomial which must be fulfilled for its factorization. It is proved that knowledge of only one of the symmetric functions of those polynomials of lower degrees is sufficient for factorization of the characteristic polynomial of the original large-scale system. An algorithm for finding all the coefficients of the decomposed polynomials and a general condition of factorization are given. Examples of splitting the polynomials of the fifth and sixth degrees are discussed in detail.

The dynamical positioning system is a complex control consisting of a number of components, including: filters, observers, controllers, and propeller allocation systems. The design and preliminary analysis of operational quality of system operation are usually done based on numerical simulations performed with the aid of the mathematical model of the ship. The article presents a concept of the dynamic positioning system applied to steering the training ship Blue Lady used for training captains in the ship handling research and training centre owned by the Foundation for Safety of Navigation and Environment Protection in Ilawa/Kamionka. The simulation tests performed in the numerical environment of Matlab/Simulink have proved the usability of the designed system for steering a ship at low speed.

The specification of the low rigidity parts machining process is consider by introducing suitable equations of constrains, which describe additional elastic deformations in one of equations describing the force controlling influence. This paper introduces general and detailed mathematical models of the DS of turning the longitudinal, low rigidity shafts. Research results and examples of their approximation were introduced. Some method of synthesis and examples structure of regulator P were shown for one detailed model of DS under received approximated operational transmittance of DS. The way of controlling the accuracy of shafts turning in the elastic deformable condition and controlling system was described.

This paper presents an approach of optimization of a truck semitrailer suspension system, with utilization of multibody model; its purpose was to find the best values of operational parameters: stiffness and damping factors, in order to minimize the disadvantageous influence of force distribution in the high risk areas, where preceding strength analysis has pointed out dangerous load values. The model contains elements of two different types: flexible and rigid bodies, in purpose of increasing the accuracy level of conducted numerical calculations. A number of simulations with different parameters and under different load cases have been carried out, combined with a parametric and structural sensitivity analysis, what has enabled an estimation of individual factors influencing particular forces that have been the objectives of optimization procedure. The stiffness and damping coefficients of the construction suspension system have been adjusted by applying metamodeling techniques. Basing on the chosen design of experiment results, this procedure allows for an approximation of the behaviour of the analysed construction in the whole design space. In this process, two different approaches have been used: Kriging and polynomial regression, and both have been compared to the simulations results. Finally, using a desirability function, the most optimal solution has been found.

Microfinance Institutions (MFIs) are a mainstay in developing countries to overcome poverty problems through Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) funding. The various studies that have been done are still very limited on sustainable SMEs funding due to SMEs various obstacles. Microfinance Institutions are the most compatible institutions to fund SMEs because they have complementary characteristics. This study aims to build a sustainable SMEs financing model to develop SMEs and MFIs. The dynamic system is used as a data analysis tool, involving three main actors in the behavior model, namely Third Parties as Funders (TPF), MFIs and SMEs with the data year 2018 scenario. Sensitivity and optimization of SMEs funding policies show that several prerequisites must be met for SMEs financing to be optimal: a) A stable level of Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) and sufficient investment capital to make a sustainable circulation of funds. The FDR must be kept above the 60% minimum range. b). The Non-Performing Financing (NPF) level must be maintained at a maximum of 5 percent; FDR must be above 60% to convert savings into financing to be eight months; The share of financing for SMEs is increased by 80 percent.
Instytucje mikrofinansowe (MIF) są w krajach rozwijających się podstawą przezwyciężania problemów ubóstwa dzięki finansowaniu małych i średnich przedsiębiorstw (MŚP). Różne przeprowadzone badania są nadal bardzo ograniczone w zakresie zrównoważonego finansowania MŚP ze względu na różne przeszkody w MŚP. Instytucje mikrofinansowe są instytucjami najbardziej kompatybilnymi z finansowaniem MŚP, ponieważ mają uzupełniające się cechy. Niniejsze badanie ma na celu zbudowanie trwałego modelu finansowania MŚP w celu rozwoju MŚP i MIF. System dynamiczny jest używany jako narzędzie do analizy danych, z udziałem trzech głównych aktorów modelu zachowania, a mianowicie stron trzecich jako podmiotów finansujących (TPF), MIF i MŚP w scenariuszu z 2018 r. Wrażliwość i optymalizacja polityki finansowania MŚP pokazują, że aby finansowanie MŚP było optymalne, musi być spełnionych kilka warunków wstępnych: a) Stabilny poziom wskaźnika finansowania do depozytu (FDR) i wystarczający kapitał inwestycyjny, aby zapewnić zrównoważony obieg środków. FDR należy utrzymywać powyżej 60% zakresu minimalnego. b). Poziom finansowania zagrożonego (NPF) musi być utrzymany na maksymalnie 5 procentach; FDR musi przekraczać 60%, aby przekształcić oszczędności w finansowanie na osiem miesięcy; Udział finansowania MŚP wzrasta o 80 procent.

Opis:
The main aim of proposed article is the design of new software system for modelling and control of discrete‐event and hybrid systems using Arduino and similar microcontrollers. In this paper we propose a new tool. It is based on Petri nets and it is called PN2ARDUINO. It offers a capability of communication with the microcontroller. Communication with the microcontroller is based on modified Firmata protocol so control algorithm can be implemented on all microcontrollers that support this type of protocol. The developed software tool was successfully verified for control of laboratory systems. It can also be used for education and also for research purposes as it offers a graphical way for designing control algorithm for hybrid and mainly discrete‐event systems. Proposed tool can enrich education and practice in the field of cyberphysical systems (Industry 4.0).

In cases when the navigational space of the manoeuvre performed by the ship is severely limited, the procedures making use of the rudder blade, propeller screw, and thrusters are very complicated. Such situations take place when the ship manoeuvres inside the harbour area and in those cases the structure of the control system is very complex. The article describes the algorithm of multivariable control of ship motion over the water surface, which makes use of the state vector consisting of 6 variables. Three of them, which are the position coordinates (x, y) measured by the DGPS system and the ship heading y measured by gyro-compass, were obtained experimentally. The three remaining variables, which are the velocities in surge u, sway v, and yaw r directions, were estimated by Kalman filter, Kalman- Bucy filter and extended Kalman filter, respectively. The control algorithms making use of these observers were examined using the training ship „Blue Lady” which was navigated on the lake Silm in Ilawa/Kamionka in the Ship Handling Research and Training Centre owned by the Foundation for Safety of Navigation and Environment Protection. The experimental results obtained using control systems with three observers were finally compared between each other.

The Cisadane River, Tangerang City, is one of the most important rivers in Indonesia. This river provides raw water for Municipal Waterworks (PDAM) of the Tangerang City and Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, but the water quality tends to deteriorate due to pollution. The government has made various efforts to manage the river water quality, but no significant resolution was issued yet. The problem is becoming more complicated due to land-use changes that affect the pollutant load. Therefore, more precise, integrated, and comprehensive management is needed. This study used an approach with various methodologies according to the stages of the research, including; qualitative and quantitative analysis, GIS, statistics, risk management, and System Dynamic. The outcome of this research was the development of the policies in river water quality management, specifically land use manage-ment, separation of drainage channels from domestic sewage channels, enhancement of Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) services coverage, as well as reinforcement of institutional and regulatory aspects, especially in funding commitments.

In this work formulated relevance, set out an analytical review of existing approaches to the research recurrent neural networks (RNN) and defined precondition appearance a new direction in the field neuroinformatics – reservoir computing. Shows generalized classification neural network (NN) and briefly described main types dynamics and modes RNN. Described topology, structure and features of the model NN with different nonlinear functions and with possible areas of progress. Characterized and systematized wellknown learning methods RNN and conducted their classification by categories. Determined the place RNN with unsteady dynamics of other classes RNN. Deals with the main parameters and terminology, which used to describe models RNN. Briefly described practical implementation recurrent neural networks in different areas natural sciences and humanities, and outlines and systematized main deficiencies and the advantages of using different RNN. The systematization of known recurrent neural networks and methods of their study is performed and on this basis the generalized classification of neural networks was proposed.

Opis:
This work presents a mathematical model of an aeropendulum system with two sets of motors with propellers and the design and simulation of a loop-shaping h∞control for this system. In this plant, the objective is to control the angular position of the pendulum rod through the torque generated by the thrust of the motorized propellers at the end of the rod’s axis. The control design is obtained by first using feedback linearization and then designing the h∞ controller using the resulting linear system. For the control strategy validation, simulations were conducted in the Matlab/Simulink® environment, and the weighting functions for the h∞ controller were adjusted to obtain the desired performance and stability of the closed-loop system. The simulation results show the efficiency of the applied methodology.
