Opis:: Water quality control from the perspective of water supply system users’ safety contributed to create drinking water production and quality control procedures. Contemporary risk hazard analysis should be performed on the stage of production, distribution and storage of tap water. Sequences of undesirable events are considered in the so-called waterworks chain series. This leads to critical control points and gives the ability to provide current control over the processes in the collective water supply system, as well as of their combinations and mutual interactions. Methodology of water consumers protection against incidental pollutions was shown. Algorithm concerning identification of critical control points – CCP was developed .The rules of safety related system into drinking water production have been shown. Also risk assessment using the tree event method was presented.

Opis:: This article is an attempt to characterize informatization barriers of logistics processes management in a production company which provides automotive parts. Threats of successful implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning Systems include: community barriers; organizational barriers; communication barriers; formal barriers; legal barriers; not prepared implementation team barrier; substantive barrier. Proper identification of barriers and solving them are the right way to implement Enterprise Resource Planning Systems in a company.
W artykule przedstawiono bariery procesu informatyzacji zarządzania procesami logistycznymi w przedsiębiorstwie produkującym części samochodowe. Czynniki negatywnie oddziałujące na przebieg procesów implementacyjnych zintegrowanych systemów wsparcia zarządzania dzielą się na bariery: społeczną, organizacyjną, komunikacji, formalnoprawną, zespołu wdrożeniowego, marketingową, ekonomiczną, merytoryczną. Identyfikacja barier i podjęcie kroków prowadzących do ich eliminacji pozwala na pomyślny przebieg procesów informatyzacji przedsiębiorstwa.

Opis:: Celem głównym niniejszego artykułu jest omówienie barier i trudności występujących podczas wdrażania i funkcjonowania Europejskiego Systemu Ekozarządzania i Audytu (EMAS) w przedsiębiorstwach branży piwowarskiej w Niemczech. W artykule została podjęta również próba klasyfikacji występujących barier. Cel główny został zrealizowany na podstawie analizy danych pierwotnych pochodzących z badań ankietowych, przeprowadzonych w przedsiębiorstwach branży piwowarskiej w Niemczech oraz analizy publikowanych przez nie deklaracji środowiskowych. Z przeprowadzonej analizy wynika, że w trakcie wdrażania i utrzymywania EMAS występują bariery o charakterze technologicznym, finansowym i organizacyjnym.
The main aim of this article is to talk over the barriers and difficulties encountered during the implementation and functioning of the European Eco-Management System (EMAS) in enterprises of the brewing industry in Germany. The article also made an attempt to present the classification of barriers. The main aim was realized based on the analysis of primary data from surveys carried out in enterprises of the brewing industry in Germany and analysis published their environmental statements. The analysis shows that during the implementation and maintenance of EMAS exist technological, financial and organizational barriers.

Opis:: Obecnie wśród przedsiębiorstw produkcyjnych coraz większe znaczenie zyskuje zasób wiedzy, który nierzadko postrzegany jest jako przewaga konkurencyjna w dynamicznie zmieniającym się otoczeniu. Najcenniejszym źródłem informacji jest klienta, zarówno zewnętrzny, jaki i wewnętrzny. To on odgrywa kluczową rolę, ponieważ umożliwia przedsiębiorstwu wygenerować zysk. Stąd ważne jest, aby spełniać ustalone wymagania, które nierzadko są bardzo trudne do zrealizowania, szczególnie biorąc pod uwagę aspekty jakościowe w przemyśle motoryzacyjnym. Przejawem niespełnienia wymagań są reklamacje. Zazwyczaj są one niepożądane przez przedsiębiorstwa, jednak w literaturze można znaleźć publikacje, gdzie zgłoszenia klientów są traktowane, jako szansa na doskonalenie oraz rozwój działalności firmy. Aby skutecznie zarządzać reklamacjami oraz przetwarzać zdobyte dane w informacje, a następnie w wiedzę nieodzowne jest wprowadzenie odpowiedniego systemu. W artykule autorzy poddali analizie przykładowy system zarządzania reklamacjami, gdzie bazując na swoim doświadczeniu oraz wiedzy teoretycznej zidentyfikowali bariery uniemożliwiające jego skuteczne funkcjonowanie.
Currently, among the manufacturing companies increasing importance of gaining knowledge, which often is seen as a competitive advantage in the rapidly changing environment. The most valuable source of information is the customer, both external and internal. It was he who plays a key role, as it allows the company to generate a profit. Hence, it is important to meet the standards, which often are very difficult to implement, especially considering the qualitative aspects of the automotive industry. A manifestation of non-compliance is complaints. They are usually unwanted by the company, but in literature you can find publications, where requests from clients are treated as an opportunity for improvement and development of the company. To effectively manage complaints and process the acquired data into information and then into knowledge is indispensable to introduce a suitable system. The authors analyzed an example of complaint management system, where, based on his experience and theoretical knowledge have identified barriers to its effective functioning.

Opis:: The study sets out to identify barriers to the financing of innovation resulting from the country’s overall level of development and the structure of Poland’s financial system. The author recommends action to remedy the system’s inefficiency in the area of financing business innovations. The article describes the theoretical aspects of innovation financing and its characteristic features in Poland on the basis of an analysis of the size, structure and changes of the overall system. On the basis of her analysis, Pełka concludes that financial barriers to the spread of innovation can only be eliminated by developing a market for “instruments typical of a knowledge-based economy.” Domestic savings need to be mobilized for the development of innovative businesses with the involvement of the public sector. It is also necessary to create a system of tax incentives and specialized capital market institutions, Pełka says, and some projects must be co-financed from public funds. Poland’s financial system should evolve toward a model based on capital market institutions, with an increased share of private capital in the process of financing business innovation, Pełka concludes.

Opis:: The ar ti cle pres ents the re sults of a de tailed study of the geo log i cal struc ture of the £eba Bar rier in the R¹bka crosssec tion (South ern Bal tic, Po land). The bar rier sep a rates Lake £ebsko from the Bal tic. Five sed i men tary com plexes were dis tin guished there (M2–M6). The spa tial vari abil ity of the grain-size dis tri bu tion was ex am ined and suc ces sion stages of the mol lusc fauna oc cur ring in the in di vid ual sed i men tary com plexes were dis tin guished. Ra dio car bon dating was used to es tab lish the age of the most im por tant events dur ing the pro cess of for ma tion of the bar rier, which took place in the course of sev eral rel a tive sea-level changes. The first sed i men tary com plex (M2) at R¹bka is connected with the sec ond ingression (i2) of the Bal tic Sea (ca. 6,700–6,000 14C years BP), sea-level sta bi li za tion (6,000–5,500 14C years BP), and at last sea-level low er ing (5,500–5,000 14C years BP) in the re gion of the Gardno-£eba Coastal Plain. The sed i men tary com plex M3 de vel oped in a la goonal en vi ron ment when the bar rier was sit u ated north of its pres ent po si tion (5,000–3,000 14C BP). The next low er ing of the sea-level made the la goon shal lower and caused the emer gence of small but al ready subaerial stretches of bar rier land with a fresh wa ter fauna in the north (4,880±40 14C BP). With the next ingression stage (i3), which took place be tween 4,500 and 3,000 BP, the bar rier shifted to its pres ent-day po si tion and the la goon changed into a fresh wa ter lake. From 3,000 to 1,700 14C BP fos sil soil and peats de vel oped on the bar rier sur face as a re sult of an other sea-level low er ing. The last ingression stages (i4 and i5), youn - ger than 1,700 BP, built up the bar rier, prac ti cally in its to day’s lo ca tion (sed i men tary com plexes M4 and M5). The youn gest sed i men tary com plex (M-6) is rep re sented by pres ent-day beach sands.

Opis:: Jednym z czynników warunkujących konkurencyjność przedsiębiorstw i innych podatników oraz niezakłócony przebieg jej rozwoju jest bezpieczeństwo prawne podmiotów prowadzących działalnośćgospodarczą. Wyraża się ono między innymi w zachowaniu wymogu stabilności i spójności opodatkowania. Ustawodawca musi zapewnić podatnikowi możliwość poznania jego uprawnień i obowiązków podatkowych, zanim staną się one obowiązującymi i wymagalnymi. Podmioty objęte podatkiem muszą być pewne, że trwałość obowiązywania prawa podatkowego podlega ochronie, która stanowić będzie jednocześnie ochronę ich interesów. Stąd też wynikać będzie podstawowa zasada stabilności obowiązywania prawa, która odnosi się nie tylko do prawa podatkowego, ale także do innych dziedzin prawa. Przepisy prawa, regulujące uprawnienia i obowiązki, zależne są przede wszystkim od zmieniających się warunków ustrojowych, społecznych i ekonomicznych. W niniejszym artykule podjęto próbę wskazania najważniejszych barier prowadzenia działalności gospodarczej wymienianych przez przedsiębiorców, jak i inne instytucje, w tym Bank Światowy. Podjęto zarazem próbę podsumowania ocen, jakie otrzymuje polskie ustawodawstwo podatkowe tak ze strony ekspertów Banku Światowego, jak i - a może przede wszystkim - polskich przedsiębiorców. Coroczne raporty Banku Światowego Doing Business oraz badania ankietowe przedsiębiorców ukazują stan polskiego ustawodawstwaw zakresie opodatkowania, co stanowi doskonałe źródło do wskazania słabych stron systemu podatkowego oraz możliwości jego poprawy. W opracowaniu tym skupiono się w szczególnościna systemie podatkowym jako tym, który może być instrumentem wpływającym pozytywnielub negatywnie na gospodarkę oraz na rozwój przedsiębiorczości.
One of the factors improving the competitiveness of factories and small business is, among others,legal security. This is represented by stability and cohesiveness of the tax system. Legislature mustensure that taxpayers are aware of their rights and duties, before tax is applicable. Entities coveredby the tax system must be certain that the stability of the tax law is protected, and that their interestsare secured as well. Hence, the result should take form of a basic principle of stability of law, which applies not only to tax regulations, but also to other legal areas. Law governing the powers and dutiesis primarily dependent on the changing political, social and economic situations. This article attemptsto identify the most important barriers, indicated by businessmen, and various institutions, including the World Bank. The article also contains a summary of ratings received by the Polish tax legislation system, provided by World Bank experts, and, perhaps more importantly, by Polish entrepreneurs.Annual reports of the World Bank, and the ‘Doing Business’ surveys present the situation of Polishentrepreneurs in the field of tax legislation and may serve as an excellent source for identifying weaknesses in the tax system and possibilities for its improvement. This study focuses in particularon the tax system, as the one which can positively or negatively affect the economy, and developmentof entrepreneurship.

Opis:: W artykule została przeprowadzona systemowa analiza czynników wpływających na działania w zakresie szeroko pojmowanego pojęcia wynalazczości, zwłaszcza w zakresie przemysłu produkcji żywności. Rozważania są jednak szersze i dotyczą uogólnionej odpowiedzi na pytanie, jakie czynniki decydują o tym, że jedni wynalazcy wykazują wyższą niż inni skuteczność w tworzeniu wynalazków o znaczeniu komercyjnym? W tym aspekcie przedstawiono systemowy model czynników determinujących te działania.
A conducted system analysis of factors of inventions influencing action in the scope stayed in the article, especially in the industry of the manufacture of foodstuffs. However deliberations are broader and concern the generalized answer to a question, what factors are deciding on the fact that ones inventors are demonstrating higher than other effectiveness in creating inventions about commercial meaning? In this aspect a system model of determinants was described this action.

Opis:: The main aim of social system is to reduce poverty and minimizing social problems. The adequate social infrastructure and human resources are necessary to accomplish this goal. One of the most important group among social services are social workers. The quality of their work has strong influence on the effectiveness of the social assistance system. The article presents the results of a survey conducted among 378 social workers from the Podkarpacie Province. The results of empirical research has identified some conditions of the profession of social workers. The article is also an attempt to identify the level of burnout among social workers in Podkarpacie Province.

Opis:: In recent years lean thinking (also referred as slim) increases its popularity not only in industry, but also in the entire business world. There are many confirmed effects demonstrating the high effectiveness of this philosophy: a clear improvement of economic indicators, an increase in current satisfaction and the acquisition of new clients; better, stable quality of offered products and services; efficient organization of production; more effective management; high productivity of work and production; minimizing the costs of production and storage of stocks. Why is Lean implementation in our domestic conditions not easy and sometimes ineffective? In this study we will try to answer these very important questions.
