    Opis:
    This paper is concerned with the issue of public opinion considered from two points of view: ethical and educational. It has been inspired by the insufficient knowledge of society about public opinion as well as the gullibility of the general public as regards the acceptance of the results of public opinion polls. Therefore, the ethical and educational dimension of this phenomenon are not recognized, which results in a severe lack of research and publications on the topic. The paper consists of three parts. The first part introduces basic facts about public opinion and its major mechanisms. The second one deals with the phenomenon of public opinion as an ethical problem, while the third one is devoted to the problem of education aimed at the development of mature perception of public opinion and active participation in the process. The problem of public opinion is treated as an important and urgent task for ethicists and teachers. This seems relevant as an increasing influence of public opinion on both individuals and a whole society is observed in various areas, including politics, economy, culture and trade. Public opinion also affects an information order, which is of significance to the state and its citizens in the light of the emergence of a communication society.

    Artykuł prezentuje zagadnienie pracy stanowiącej niezwykleważną wartość w życiu człowieka w etycznym ujęciu. Praca nie jest tylko źródłemosiągania przychodów, to również wartość pozwalająca jednostce na samorozwój.Warto podkreślić, że poprzez pracę wytwarza się nie tylko dobramaterialne, ale także wprowadza się wartościowe oraz zamierzone zmianyw otoczeniu. Osoby pracujące powinny mieć poczucie własnej godności czyosobowości, być świadome odpowiedzialności i wolności, którą posiadają orazzdawać sobie sprawę z człowieczeństwa, dość często poddawanego próbie czasuw procesie pracy.     The article presents the issue of work that is an extremely importantvalue in human life in ethical terms. Work is not only a source of income,it is also a value that allows the individual to develop themself. It is worth emphasizingthat work does not only produce material goods, but also introducesvaluable and intended changes in the environment. Working persons shouldhave a sense of their own dignity or personality, be aware of the responsibilityand freedom they have, and be aware of humanity quite often subjectedto the test of time in work phenomena. In the final part, I presented the researchon whether work is of value for people.

    Etyka zawodowa policjanta stanowi pewien zbiór zasad moralnych, obejmujących zarówno powszechnie obowiązujące w określonej epoce i społeczeństwie, jak i wynikające ze specyfiki wykonywanego zawodu. W myśl zasad etycznych, których głównym postulatem jest poszanowanie godności ludzkiej w każdej sytuacji i w stosunku do każdego, etyka, nie powinna być dla policjanta tylko dodatkiem, lecz wyrazem jego odpowiedzialności wobec człowieka i za człowieka. Celem artykułu jest pokazanie aspektów etycznych Policji w Polsce i procesu kształtowania się zasad etyki oraz ich znajomości w organach policyjnych i w świadomości policjantów. Problematyka ta została ujęta w wymiarze historycznym, a także współczesnym z wyraźnym uwzględnieniem nowej filozofia działania – CommunityPolicing. Na bazie problemów teorii przedstawionych w pierwszej części artykułu (Zagadnienia Społeczne 2(12) 2019) przeprowadzono badania ankietowe policjantów koncentrując je na pytaniu: jaką wiedzę i jakie poglądy w kwestii zagadnień etyki zawodowej prezentują policjanci?
    The professional ethics of a policeman constitutes a certain set of moral principles, covering both, those generally applicable in a particular era and society, and those arising from the characteristic of the profession. According to police officer’s code of ethics, whose main objective is to respect human dignity in every situation and in relation to everyone, ethics should be an expression of a police officer’s responsibility towards and for people. The aim of the article is to show the ethical aspects of the Police in Poland, the process of shaping the principles of ethics and the knowledge of the professional conduct rules among police officers and authorities. These issues have been presented in the historical as well as contemporary dimension with reference to the new operating philosophy – Community Policing. Based on the problems of theories presented in the first part of the article (Social Issues 2(12) 2019), a survey among policemen was conducted, focusing on the question: what knowledge and views on issues of professional ethics are presented by police officers?

    The subject of the article was raised in response to the research gap in the area of ethical views and attitudes of academic youth. The problem was considered important due to the growing role of ethics in business and the consequent need to focus on ethics at every stage of economic education. The characteristics obtained thanks to the empirical study (in the form of a survey conducted among first-year students at SGH Warsaw School of Economics) may contribute to documenting the state of ethical awareness of students at an economic university at the initial stage of economic education and additionally in the initial period of a crisis caused by COVID-19. The research brings a double cognitive value. On the one hand, it presents the generalized "ethical" characteristics of student youth in the initial stage of academic education, including the original radar of the student's perception of the importance of ethical values in defining an ideal ethical attitude in business, compatible with the Tool-kit for Ethics Self-Assessment, available at esa.sgh.waw.pl. On the other hand - after applying the observations to the ground of shaping academic curricula - some suggestions relating to ethics can be derived, which should not be overlooked in the work on study programs.
