Opis:: Ważnym wyzwaniem stojącym przed instytucjami odpowiedzialnymi za wdrażanie infrastruktur informacji przestrzennej (IIP) jest zwiększanie stopnia wykorzystania zasobów IIP w różnych dziedzinach, np. w planowaniu przestrzennym, ochronie środowiska, nauce. W tym celu niezbędne jest nowe podejście do kształcenia na poziomie wyższym, w którym na pierwszy plan wysuwają się wiedza i umiejętności właściwego stosowania danych przestrzennych w różnego typu zagadnieniach środowiskowych i społecznych, wymagające łączenia treści tradycyjnie przypisywanych do odrębnych dyscyplin akademickich i przekraczania barier dziedzinowych. Próbą takiego nowego podejścia jest opracowany w Instytucie Geografii i Gospodarki Przestrzennej Uniwersytetu Jagiellońskiego nowy kierunek studiów magisterskich: "e–gospodarka przestrzenna", który został zainaugurowany w październiku 2015 r. Celem kształcenia na tym kierunku jest zintegrowane rozwijanie wiedzy i umiejętności studentów z zakresu gospodarki przestrzennej i geoinformatyki. Nacisk położony został na zajęcia specjalistyczne, prezentujące metody wykorzystywania nowoczesnych narzędzi geoinformatycznych i zasobów danych przestrzennych w praktycznych działaniach na rzecz społeczeństwa i środowiska przyrodniczego. Zakłada się, że tego typu wiedza i umiejętności zwiększą szanse absolwentów tego kierunku na rynku pracy, który obejmować będzie instytucje, przedsiębiorstwa i jednostki administracji państwowej zajmujące się gospodarką przestrzenną, planowaniem przestrzennym, rozwojem lokalnym i regionalnym, przedsięwzięciami rewitalizacyjnymi, ochroną przyrody oraz analizą przyrodniczych i społeczno-ekonomicznych danych przestrzennych. W artykule omówiona zostanie szczegółowo koncepcja studiów, sposób budowania programu oraz napotkane w czasie prac problemy.
For all institutions responsible for the implementation of spatial information infrastructures (SII) it is important to maximize the use of SII resources in various domains, like spatial planning, nature conservation, science. One of necessary actions to meet this goal is to develop new approaches in higher education that integrate traditionally distinct disciplines, and in which knowledge and skills in proper use of spatial information in environmental and socio-economic problems are at the core. A new study programme “e-spatial management”, initiated in October 2015 at the Institute of Geography and Spatial Management, Jagiellonian University in Kraków, Poland, is such an attempt. An overall learning goal for this study programme is the integration of knowledge and skills in geographic information science and technology (GIS&T), and spatial management. We have emphasized classes that present how GI tools and new spatial data resources may be used in practical actions for society and environment. We assume that knowledge and skills of this type may increase chances of the alumni for the employment in institutions, companies and governmental entities that work in the field of spatial management, spatial planning, local and regional development, revitalisation, nature conservation and analysis of environmental and socio-economic spatial data. The paper presents a detailed overview of the study programme, its development and problems encountered in the conceptual and preparatory phases.

Opis:: This paper is first of all informative. In the first section, it gives a survey of innovative Master Studies for European secondary teachers, being prepared by an international team from eight countries. Among five main training areas, there are Intercultural Studies, which are to be implemented in another country during a mobility semester. The second section of the paper describes briefly four intercultural modules developed in the EMETTStudies: Education systems in the European Union, Intercultural communication,Selected aspects of European culture and Intercultural education.The third part of the paper gives an example of the teaching material which can be used to raise students’ intercultural awareness. The material is based on a literary text made into a contemporary play, focused on the universal theme of a journey, set in the Polish Tatra Mts. The author of the paper shows how such a material can combine elements of three intercultural modules: Intercultural education, Intercultural communication and Selected aspects of European culture. Finally, the paper points out the role of a language of international communication in the implementation of EMETTStudies during the mobility semester.

Autor w szczegółowy sposób przedstawia cele i treści kształcenia, zaczynając od wprowadzenia teoretycznych implikacji dwujęzyczności, a kończąc na rozwiązywaniu przez studentów studiów przypadków dzieci bilingwalnych. W tekście zaakcentowano również użycie na zajęciach nauczania problemowego (PBL) oraz kształcenia zorientowanego na studenta (SCL).
The article is a proposal for educating students as part of the course titled “Bilingualism and speech‑language diagnostics and therapy” implemented at the MA speech‑language pathology studies at the Faculty of Polish Studies of the Jagiellonian University. The author presents in detail the learning goals and curriculum content, starting from the introduction of the theoretical implications of bilingualism and ending with case studies of bilingual children solved by students. The text also emphasises the use of problem‑based learning (PBL) and student‑centred learning (SCL) in the classroom.

Opis:: Based on the Guideline for MTI Training Program established by China National Committee for MTI (Master of Translation and Interpreting) Education, this research makes a successive survey on the status quo of master education of legal translators and interpreters from 2014-2016 to trace the changes and problems revealed in the five major universities of political science and law in China. By comparing and analyzing the information and facts collected on the training target, curriculum setting, teaching staff, platform construction, practical training as well as the employment in those five universities, the authors sort out the diversified advantages and features of the five law schools, and probe into the existing problems and difficulties in common. On the grounds of the survey and interview conducted by the authors in the recent years, the authors put forward the solutions and suggestions on the improvement and future development of Chinese MTI education.
Autorzy, w oparciu o Przewodnik Programu Kształcenia Tłumaczy Pisemnych i Ustnych ogłoszony przez Chiński Państwowy Komitet Kształcenia Tłumaczy Pisemnych i Ustnych, badają status studiów magisterskich w Chinach w zakresie kształcenia tłumaczy prawniczych w latach 2014-2016. Celem jest wychwycenie zmian i problemów, jakie zaistniały w ramach przedmiotu badania na pięciu największych chińskich uniwersytetach. Analizie poddano informacje i dane rzeczywiste zgromadzone na zajęciach kursowych a zawarte w programach studiów, dotyczące kadry, struktury platformy, zajęć praktycznych oraz informacje dotyczące zatrudnienia w badanych uniwersytetach. Autorzy artykułu skategoryzowali ww. informacje według zalet i charakterystyki określonych pięciu wydziałów prawa i podjęli próbę zdefiniowania ich wspólnych problemów. W oparciu o przeprowadzone badania autorzy artykułu wskazują określone sugestie, możliwości rozwiązania danych problemów oraz potencjalne ulepszenia, które sprzyjać będą przyszłemu rozwojowi kształcenia tłumaczy prawnych w Chinach.

Opis:: Roughly speaking, the European Higher Education Area introduced substantial changes in the structure and development of new curricula. Particularly, when assuming the teaching-learning processes in the Master’s Degree, special attention needs to be carried out to the students’ achievements. Since 2010, the Faculty of Education in the University of Zaragoza implemented the Master in Teacher Training for High School Teachers. One of the main aims is to provide students with the necessary pedagogical knowledge, strategies and procedures to be able to develop professionally. We want to accompany in students’ development, the acquisition of teaching techniques and methodologies, including methodology specific for age of youth, the teachers will be working with. This issue was showed in presented text. The authors pictured, among others, the methods, activities and objectives designed to help students achieve the learning outcomes in the Master’s compulsory Module entitled “Context of the Teaching Task”.
W zakresie Europejskiej Edukacji Wyższej zostały wprowadzone istotne zmiany, które wpłynęły na strukturę i rozwój nowej podstawy programowej. W szczególności w procesie kształcenia nauczycieli wyjątkową uwagę należy zwrócić na osiągnięcia studentów. Od 2010 roku Wydział Edukacji Uniwersytetu w Zaragozie wprowadził studia magisterskie dla nauczycieli szkół ponadgimnazjalnych. Główną uwagę zwrócono na zapewnienie studentom niezbędnej pedagogicznej wiedzy oraz znajomość strategii i procedur pozwalających im na osiągnięcie profesjonalnego rozwoju. Chcemy wspomagać rozwój studentów, zdobywanie wiedzy na temat technik nauczania oraz metodologii, w tym metodologii specyficznej dla wieku młodzieży, z którą nauczyciele będą pracować. Kwestię tę przybliżono w prezentowanym tekście. Autorzy przedstawili m.in. metody, techniki i narzędzia przydatne studentom, którzy zdobywają wiedzę podczas obowiąkowych zajęć realizowanych w module zatutyłowanym “Kontekst zadań nauczania”.

Opis:: Background. The aim of the study was to present the quantitative and qualitative description of the phenomenon of students’ gainful employment and determine if the work affects their functioning in the college. Materials and methods. The research included 412 fulltime Master’s degree students from Józef Piłsudski Uniwersity of Physical Education. The self-designed questionnaire was used and the statistical analysis was performed. Results. The majority of respondents was not employed during the course of studies. Gainfully employed students were active both in the learned profession and in other areas. The most common reasons for taking gainful employment were: improvement of the financial situation, earning money for entertainment, acquiring new skills and experience. Conclusion. The socio-demographic situation does not affect the phenomenon of taking gainful employment. The field of study affects the employment. Gainful employment does not affect student’s functioning in the college.
