Opis:
The paper analyses the situation of disabled students in Polish public schools. The author stresses the necessity of providing disabled students with high quality education. To achieve that aim a broad spectrum of measures and regulation is necessary, including national and international regulations. Appropriate funding and support also need to be provided by local, regional and central governments. However, what is the most difficult is to gain the acceptance of inclusive education on the part of local communities.

The article is a presentation of two events – city games: „The Tree of Support” and „The Life Scraps”, which were the parts of the Festivals of Science that took place in Zielona Gora in 2009–2012. Analysing the experience of these projects participants, mostly students and academic teachers, the author answers the question: wherever pursuing projects outside the university walls will give students a different and new opportunity to acquire skills of being a professional counsellor or reflective researchers of counselling practice. In the first part the author describes two mentioned projects: „The Tree of Support” and „The Life Scraps”. In the next part the author refers to literary checks whether these projects can be gamification mechanisms. In the final section there are analyses of some changes that had taken place during the project continuity and after its completion, and evaluates their suitability in the process of education of pedagogical and social studies students.

Opis:
W przekroju 15 lat istnienia Katedry można zaobserwować wykształcenie się oryginalnej szkoły nauczania. Do jej fundamentalnych cech należą: nierozłączne traktowanie urbanistyki i architektury, uznanie za priorytetowe kształtowanie zdrowego środowiska życia człowieka we wszystkich skalach i aspektach, dążenie do wielowątkowego traktowania przestrzeni począwszy od problematyki miasta i dzielnicy do wzajemnych relacji funkcjonalno-przestrzennych w małym zespole urbanistycznym, z równorzędnym traktowaniem kompozycji przestrzennej w skali urbanistycznej i architektonicznej w nawiązaniu do ducha miejsca i kontekstu.
The fifteen-year-old Chair has formed an unconventional school of training. Its fundamental features are: inseparability of urbanism and architecture, priority of shaping a healthy habitat place for man in all scales and aspects and aiming at a many-sided treatment of space from the subject matter of the town and district to mutual functional and spatial relations in a small urban complex with an equiponderant treatment of a spatial composition in an urban and an architectural scale with reference to the spirit of a given place and its context.

Opis:
The aim of the study. Help autistic children in Ukraine is inadequate due to a lack of well-trained specialists. This article is dedicated to the problem of preparation of specialists for the work with autistic children by the module system of higher education. Methods. The methodological basis for constructing an educational module is to use the elements of graph theory, which can detect basic blocks, functions of the educational module, and identify the components of the content of the module and install interrelationships between them. To determine the content of the educational module were used the results of the survey of parents and professionals who work with autistic children. There have also been investigated indicators of 60 autistic children by Binet-Simon and CARS methods in the experimental and reference group. In the experimental group are specialists who have been trained by TEACCH method, whereas in reference group are specialists who do not have special education in the fi eld of ASD. Results. The results of the survey of parents and professionals as well as indicators of autistic children of experimental and reference group have shown a greater progress in development of autistic children in experimental group. Taking into account the results an educational modul for preparation of psychologists for work with autistic children wasconstructed. The modul consists of 8 blocks that include clinical, correctional and therapeutic knowledge and covers 5 functions of preparation of practical psychologists: diagnostical, predictive, corrective, coordinative and  productive, that provides success in the development of autistic child. Conclusions. Creation and the improvement of the contents of the modules, which deal with the question of autistic disorders, are interconnected with the quality of providing educational and correctional-teaching services for children and families in which they are educated.

The aim of the study was to assess the relationship between the sense of generalised self-efficacy and the level of prohealth behaviours among Polish and Spanish physical education students. The study was conducted among 499 physical education students (219 Polish and 280 Spanish). The Inventory of Health Behaviours (IZZ) by Z. Juczyński and the Generalised Self-Efficacy Scale (GSES) by R. Schwarzer, M. Jerusalem and Z. Juczyński were used. Among the categories of healthy behaviours included in the Inventory of Health Behaviours (IZZ), the physical education students obtained the highest average results in the area of positive mental attitude (22.26), less in the prohealth practices (20.10) and proper eating habits (19.85), and less again in the area of preventive behaviours (18.97). Statistically significant positive correlations were found between the intensification of the generalised sense of self-efficacy and the levels of positive mental attitude (p = 0.024) and preventive behaviours (p < 0.001). The moderating influence regarding home country on relationships between the generalised sense of self-efficacy and general index of pro-health behaviours (p = 0.024) was also demonstrated; in the case of the Spanish students the level of pro-health behaviours increased, but for the Polish students it decreased.

In a changing society and in the era of ever-increasing development of technology and communication, the importance of human movement is being marginalised. A child’s spontaneous physical activity is often suppressed and replaced by passive activities. That happens at home and school. As a consequence, the level of physical fitness and the range of motor skills are decreased. People are aware of the importance of movement for the proper functioning of human body, but not always they apply the sound rules in practice. Both the suggestions contained in the new core curriculum of a general education and the ways of implementing the contents of physical education provide the teacher with a wide range of possibilities. Thus arises the need to expand the range of competences which students will acquire during university classes. Modification of the educational content by adjusting more to the expectations of the contemporary school is one of the ways to meet this goal

Author of this article expresses belife that education is an essential tool for addressing most of the socio-economic challenges. Therefore, increasing access to education for children with disabilities can open up a whole lot of new and diverse opportunities for them. Base on datas the author certifyed, that most children with disabilities in African countries do not have access to good quality education. Consequently, they are less likely to get employed and are at increased odds of living in severe poverty. Traditionally, children with disabilities have been served in special education classes. However, not all schools in African countries have special education classes or facilities. According to the latest census data from across 11 African countries many children with disabilities are never enrolled into schools. This chapter summarizes the current state of affairs regarding the educational outcomes of children with disabilities, the challenges associated with adoption of inclusive education in African schools and proposes an inclusive education framework to facilitate its implantation and to guide schools in assessing their inclusive education efforts.

The purpose of this article is to present opportunities for research which show the common ground between tourism and physical culture using approaches and methods worked out and applied in economics. Attention has been concentrated on the category of ‘product’, treated here as a theoretical concept by means of which it is possible to present a structure of tourism trip. This will include the part that refers to those values and human activities related to physical culture. An attempt to identify the social perception of the attributes that describe a tourism trip was made by an empirical study using conjoint analysis on students in higher education in Kraków. The results show that those who participate in tourism enriched by physical activity, prefer trips saturated with attributes such as the required level of courage, the testing of psychological and physical abilities, rivalry with others or nature, an element of adventure, a high level of physical activity, access to sports and leisure facilities, and contact with nature. But at the same time they prefer a low level of risk to health or life. It was noted, however, that related to the latter female and male preferences vary.

The study aimed to analyse changes in school belonging in higher education students during online instruction and to verify its cross-sectional and longitudinal relationships with academic adjustment in the first and higher years of study. The research sample consisted of 169 higher education students (90.5% women, M = 21.71; SD = 2.63) in the first measurement (end of the winter term), and 77 respondents (96% women, M = 21.38; SD = 2.03) in the second measurement (end of the summer term). Self-report methods were used. Results showed a decline in school belonging among first-year students. School belonging significantly predicted academic adjustment, and the relationship with internal motivation persisted even four months later. The findings support the key role and need for facilitating school belonging in higher education students in the online environment.
