    Opis:
    The subject of the article is the impact of measurement deviations of three-layer walls on the durability of these walls in buildings erected according to the OWT-67 / N system. This problem mainly concerns the external facade texture layer, which, apart from its own weight load, is exposed to the destructive influence of external factors, which include wind suction load and temperature load. The measurement deviation regarding the texture layer is the varied thickness of the board. Other diverse components that affect the fusion of the texture layer with the insulation layer and the construction layer are: diameter of rods hangers, coating thickness of rods hangers and diameter of rods anchoring hangers. Based on these measurements, a polynomial model was created based on an experimental plan that evaluated the durability of the layered wall.

    Functional conversions of the buildings, performed in the process of revitalization, usually have a significant impact on the architecture and the structure of the building. The susceptibility to transformation should be the subject of analysis, before the design process starts. There are three basic ways of converting existing buildings – refurbishment, vertical and lateral extension. Refurbishment is related to spatial changes in the interior, for example – joining the adjacent flats or inserting a mezzanine, or other conversions of the building’s interior, including the structure. Library building, in The Jacob of Paradyż University of Applied Sciences in Gorzów Wielkopolski campus, illustrates the specificity of refurbishment.

    W artykule zaprezentowano przebieg modernizacji i rozbudowy domów studenckich Politechniki Świętokrzyskiej. Przedstawiono stan techniczny analizowanych budynków, przeprowadzono analizę porównawczą zużycia energii cieplnej w dwóch wybranych obiektach oraz opisano rozwiązania projektowe. Założenia projektowe skoncentrowano na poprawie funkcjonalności obiektów oraz ich charakterystyki energetycznej. Realizacja zadania przyczyni się m.in. do poprawy jakości użytkowania obiektów, obniżenia bieżących kosztów za zużycie energii cieplnej, zabezpieczenia konstrukcji i elementów wykończenia przed negatywnym wpływem mostków termicznych oraz nieszczelności, a także do polepszenia estetyki budynków.
    The article presents the modernization and expansion of the dormitories of Kielce University of Technology. There are discussed the main elements of the project. Finally there are compared the values of energy consumption in the period of six heating seasons to show the improvement in minimalization of heat losses.

The article presents the selected factors connected with exploitation of educational buildings, to have an influence on the seasonal consumption of heat Q used for heating.

    The aim of the paper is to discuss the arrangement of the existing and new high-rise buildings in Wrocław, as well as to determine the impact of their location on spatial order. The author uses a descriptive method, simple statistical methods, a deductive method and empirical inference. The subject of the research is Wrocław, with special attention to high-rise objects location. The basic research covers the period of 2010-2017. The question of planning and building high-rise objects was discussed in Wrocław studies of conditions and directions of spatial development (2010 and 2017). As the recent years reveal, the number of very high buildings in Wrocław is not on the rise. However, Wrocław is prepared for their arrival.

    W artykule przedstawiono wyniki pomiarów terenowych mających na celu określenie wielkości i charakteru zmian krzywizny powierzchni terenu w trakcie przejścia frontu eksploatacyjnego, oraz jej wpływ na stan techniczny wielorodzinnego, tradycyjnego budynku mieszkalnego. Krzywiznę terenu w bezpośrednim sąsiedztwie obserwowanego budynku namierzono technikami geodezyjnymi. Dodatkowo monitorowano również zmiany geometrii samej konstrukcji budynku. Pozwoliło to na określenie zależności pomiędzy obiema krzywiznami: budynku oraz sąsiadującego z nim bezpośrednio terenu. Pomiary prowadzono w Bytomiu w okresie: październik 2014 – grudzień 2016. Łącznie wykonano 35 cykli pomiarowych.
    This paper presents the results of field surveys which were aimed at determining the size and nature of changes of the curvature of the ground surface at the passing of an exploitation front as well as its influence on the technical condition of a traditional, multi-family residential building. The curvature of the ground in the close proximity of the monitored building was measured by use of geodetic techniques. In addition, the changes in geometry of the building structure in itself were monitored. It allowed to determine the relationship between the two curvatures: the one of the building and the one of the ground in its close proximity. The measurements were conducted in Bytom between October 2014 and December 2016. Thirty-five surveying cycles were conducted altogether.

    The article discusses fire safety demands and their practical importance as well as the impact of the building structure and elements of internal division to fire safety. The functions of supporting structures, ceilings, partition walls, suspended ceilings and raised floors are shown. In the case of external walls the article discusses the paths of spreading of fire in the building and the function of external walls that is associated with the demand of reducing the possibility of spreading of fire to adjacent buildings.

    The aim of the paper is to present the most important results of the research carried out for the case study on the
    effects of Rail Baltica investments in the Warsaw Metropolitan Area (WMA) urban node. The research was carried out
    as part of the EU project NSB CoRe (North Sea Baltic Connector of Regions). In the article the main conclusions from the
    study are presented, describing changes that have supervened in the analyzed area (communes within the boundaries
    of the WMA, at a distance of up to 3 km from the E75 railway line and ones crossed by national road 8/S8) in the period
    of the E75 line’s modernization. The analysis focuses on changes in settlement structure as well as the functioning of
    railway transport, with an assessment of the improvements by its users. Conclusions from the analysis of changes in the
    spatio-functional and socio-economical dimensions are described and concern the number of building licenses granted,
    changes in population size, changes in the number of registered natural person business entities, changes in the number
    of transactions on the real estate market. Moreover, in the area of transport, the paper presents an assessment of the
    quality of railway services on the E75 line through passengers’ opinions and the integration of the Baltic railway with
    alternative transport modes.
    Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie najważniejszych wyników badań przeprowadzonych na potrzeby Studium
    wpływu modernizacji linii kolejowej E75 na rozwój Obszaru Metropolitalnego Warszawy, Przedmiotowe opracowanie
    powstało w ramach projektu NSB CoRe (North Sea Baltic Connector of Regions). W artykule zaprezentowano
    najważniejsze wnioski z przedmiotowego Studium, opisujące zmiany, które zaszły na obszarze badań (zawartego
    w granicach OMW, obejmującego gminy położone w zasięgu 3 km od linii kolejowej E75 oraz gminy, przez które
    przebiega droga krajowa nr 8/S8), w okresie trwającej modernizacji linii E75. W tym celu skoncentrowano się na analizie
    zmian w przestrzeni osadniczej oraz w zakresie funkcjonowania transportu kolejowego i oceny przez podróżnych
    przyjętych usprawnień. Opisano wnioski z analizy zmian w wymiarze funkcjonalno-przestrzennym i społecznogospodarczym
    obszaru badań w zakresie: wydanych pozwoleń na budowę, zmiany liczby ludności, zarejestrowanych
    podmiotów gospodarczych osób fizycznych, transakcji zawartych na rynku nieruchomości. W artykule przedstawiono
    również zmiany, które zaszły w okresie modernizacji w zakresie transportu obejmujące ocenę jakości usług
    przewoźników kolejowych realizowanych na linii E75, opinie pasażerów na temat funkcjonowania transportu
