    Studies of the scale of unemployment in Poland and in Europe conducted in recent years lead to the conclusion that one of the largest and growing problems of the modern labour market is the unemployment rate among young people. An unfavourable phenomenon related to this issue, which is increasingly often appearing in public debate, is the rising unemployment of graduates. Therefore, it is important to attempt to identify related phenomena in today’s job market, and one of such phenomena is the emergence of a new type of employee in the labour market, a member of the precarious class. The analysis aims to present the origins, nature and scale of the precariat phenomenon in Poland. The issue is described from the perspective of the labour market position of a selected social group, i.e. young people entering the labour market after finishing their education. The study attempted to identify factors that affect this phenomenon and the characteristics confirming the sense of its separateness in the labour market.

    Article presents a review of the literature associated with the hope of success and the results of the author's research among employees with flexible forms of employment. A specific distribution of results on the scale of hope for success, both for social-and-demographic correlations and the distribution of the variable itself can be justified by characteristics of conditions typical for a given form of employment that are beneficial or non-beneficial for experiencing hope for success.

    Opis:
    The Polish Act of 5 August 2015 amending the Act on Competition and Consumer Protection and certain other acts introduced several changes intended to strengthen consumer protection. Its substantial part concerns the abstract control of standard forms of agreements concluded with consumers. The Amendment Act of 2015 has completely changed the previous model of abstract control of standard forms of agreements concluded with consumers by replacing the court proceedings model with the administrative proceedings model. This article presents an analysis of Polish legal rules on the abstract control of standard forms of agreements concluded with consumers as amended by the Amendment Act of 2015. Its purpose is to verify whether the new Polish model may be deemed as an appropriate and effective means of preventing the continued use of unfair terms, within the meaning of Council Directive 93/13/EEC of 5 April 1993 on unfair terms in consumer contracts. The paper analyses the legal rules on the new model of abstract control of standard forms of agreements concluded with consumers (the administrative proceedings model) and compares the new model with its predecessor (the court proceedings model). The paper does not cover the remaining changes introduced into the Polish Competition Act of 2007 by the Amendment Act of 2015, which are not connected to abstract control of standard forms of agreements concluded with consumers.
    La loi polonaise du 5 août 2015 modifiant la loi sur la concurrence et la protection des consommateurs et certains d’autres actes a introduit plusieurs modifications qui ont eu pour leur objectif de renforcer la protection des consommateurs. Sa partie substantielle concerne le contrôle abstrait des formulaires types des contrats conclus avec des consommateurs. La loi de 2015 a complètement modifié le modèle antérieur de contrôle abstrait des formulaires types des contrats conclus avec des consommateurs en remplaçant le modèle judiciaire par le modèle administratif. Cet article présente une analyse des règles juridiques polonaises relatives au contrôle abstrait des formulaires types des contrats conclus avec des consommateurs introduits par la loi de 2015. Son objectif est de vérifier si le nouveau modèle polonais peut être considéré comme un moyen approprié et efficace pour empêcher l’application des clauses abusives dans les contrats, au sens de la directive du Conseil n° 93/13/CEE du 5 avril 1993 relative aux clauses abusives dans les contrats conclus avec les consommateurs. L’article analyse des règles juridiques du nouveau modèle de contrôle abstrait des formulaires types des contrats conclus avec des consommateurs (le modèle de la procédure administrative) et compare le nouveau modèle avec son prédécesseur (le modèle de la procédure judiciaire). L’article ne se réfère pas aux autres modifications introduites par l’amendement de 2015 dans la loi polonaise sur la concurrence de 2007, n’étant pas liées au contrôle abstrait des formulaires types des contrats conclus avec des consommateurs.

    Nietypowe formy zatrudnienia stają się coraz ważniejsze w krajach uprzemysłowionych. Na europejskich rynkach pracy w ostatnich latach obserwuje się rosnące powstanie tak zwanych "bardziej elastycznych form pracy", które odbiegają od standardowych umów o pracę. Wzrost ilości umów na czas określony, „mini-praca” - w niepełnym wymiarze czasu i zatrudnianie przez agencje pracy, potencjalnie zwiększają elastyczność zatrudnienia dla przedsiębiorstwa - a także do pewnego stopnia - dla pracowników, jednak te formy zatrudnienia są uważane za gorsze i bardziej ryzykowne w porównaniu z regularnym (tradycyjnym) zatrudnieniem, w szczególności w zakresie możliwości osiągnięcia zysków i bezpieczeństwa pracy.
    Atypical forms of employment are becoming increasingly important in industrialised countries. In European labour markets in recent years, there has been a growing emergence of so-called ‘more flexible forms of work’, which deviate from standard employment contracts. The growth of fixed-term contracts, mini-jobs, part-time working and agency work potentially increases flexibility for companies – and also to some extent for employees – but these forms of employment are generally regarded as inferior and more risky compared with regular employment, particularly in terms of earning potential and job security.

    The aim of the article is to examine the correlation between changes in the level of employment and unemployment rate and the share of non-standard (flexible) forms of employment in the countries of the European Union in the long-term perspective. The hypothesis is that changes in the employment level and unemployment rate are related to the changes in the share of non-standard forms of employment in overall employment. The assessment of the relationship between the studied values refers to the age group of between 15 and 64-year olds. Coefficients of linear correlation and determination between the studied values in 2006-2017 were calculated in order to verify the hypothesis. The results of the research indicate that the situation is very different in different national labour markets, both in terms of the share of nonstandard forms of employment and their reactions to changes in employment and unemployment.
    Celem artykułu było zbadanie zależności między zmianami poziomu zatrudnienia i stopy bezrobocia a udziałem form niestandardowych w zatrudnieniu w krajach Unii Europejskiej w perspektywie długoterminowej. Przyjęto hipotezę, że zmiany poziomu zatrudnienia i stopy bezrobocia są związane ze zmianami udziału niestandardowych form zatrudnienia w zatrudnieniu ogółem. Ocena zależności między badanymi wielkościami dotyczy grupy wiekowej 15-64 lata. W celu weryfikacji hipotezy obliczono współczynniki korelacji liniowej i determinacji między badanymi wielkościami w latach 2006-2017. Wyniki badań wskazują na duże zróżnicowanie sytuacji na rynkach pracy różnych krajów, jeśli chodzi zarówno o udział niestandardowych form zatrudnienia, jak i ich reakcji na zmiany w zatrudnieniu i bezrobociu.

    W artykule przeanalizowano modele podziału kompetencji w zakresie realizacji funkcji personalnej między przedsiębiorstwem użytkującym a agencją pracy tymczasowej. Oparto się głównie na propozycji brytyjskich autorów, którzy wyodrębnili trzy modele relacji z dostawcą zasobów ludzkich: „ręce przy sobie”, integracji i partnerstwa. Wzięto przy tym pod uwagę zmieniające się trendy w zakresie wykorzystywania pracy tymczasowej oraz specyficzny, polski system prawny.
    In the paper models of competences’ division between a user enterprise and a temporary employment agency have been analyzed in the subject of personnel function realization. This has been based mainly on a British authors’ proposal who have described three types of employment arrangements with a skills supplier – the hands-off model, the integrated model and the partnership model. Changing trends in the use of temporary work and the specific Polish law system have been considered.

    Wzorce dokumentów żeglugowych, takie jak konosamenty, umowy czarterowe, umowy o zarządzanie statkiem lub deklaracje ładunkowe, przygotowywane są w celu ułatwienia międzynarodowego obrotu morskiego. Ich stosowanie usprawnia proces ustalania treści różnego rodzaju umów, co ma istotne znaczenie wobec narastającego tempa obrotu gospodarczego. Bałtycka i Międzynarodowa Rada Morska (BIMCO) odgrywa wiodącą rolę w opracowywaniu tego rodzaju dokumentów. Tworzone przez nią dokumenty żeglugowe, a także pojedyncze klauzule umowne, są szeroko wykorzystywane międzynarodowej żegludze morskiej. Działalność BIMCO, w tym jej wkład w tworzenie reguł, ogólnych warunków i wzorców umów dla obrotu międzynarodowego jest fundamentalny, a samą BIMCO można uznać za najważniejszą w tym zakresie międzynarodową morską organizację pozarządową.
    Standard shipping documents such as bills of lading, charter parties, ship management contracts or cargo declarations are prepared to facilitate international maritime traffic. Their application improves the process of determining the content of various types of contracts, which is important in view of the increasing pace of economic turnover. The Baltic and International Maritime Council (BIMCO) plays a leading role in the development of such documents. The shipping documents it creates, as well as individual contractual clauses, are widely used in global shipping. BIMCO's activity, including its contribution to the creation of rules, general terms and standard contracts for international trade, is fundamental, and BIMCO itself can be considered the most important international maritime non-governmental organization in this respect.

    This paper addresses the following topics within the framework of natural grammar: On the paradigmatic level of the analysis (The Part titled “Semantics of aspectual-temporal forms of Russian verb”), the temporal and aspectual meanings of each aspectual-temporal form contained in the system of Russian aspectual-temporal forms are determined. On the syntagmatic level of the analysis (The Part titled “Pragmatics of aspectual-temporal forms in Russian”), the use of aspectual-temporal forms in standard and non-standard contexts is investigated as exemplified by performative verbs in the perfective future.

    W artykule przedstawiono zmiany w języku ukraińskim po odzyskaniu przez Ukrainę niepodległości. Przed 1991 rokiem władza radziecka – prócz znanych z czasów Rosji carskiej różnego rodzaju zakazów ‒ stworzyła system ingerencji w wewnętrzne prawa językowe, zabraniając jednych wyrazów, konstrukcji syntaktycznych czy zasad ortograficznych, a propagując inne, bliższe językowi rosyjskiemu, który de facto posiadał pozycję dominującą w każdej prawie dziedzinie. Doprowadziło to do nienormalnej sytuacji językowej, nieświadomego mieszania języka ukraińskiego i rosyjskiego, do „rozchwiania” norm języka ukraińskiego zarówno fonetycznych, jak i morfologicznych, a także norm syntaktycznych oraz łączliwości leksykalnej. Dlatego też po 1991 roku ‒ prócz zmian w systemie leksykalnym, związanych z rozwojem nauki, techniki oraz przekształceniami politycznymi i ekonomicznymi ‒ obserwujemy dążenie do odejścia od form zrusyfikowanych, naruszających normy ukraińskiego języka literackiego i powrót do starych rodzimych tradycji językowych.
    The article discusses changes in Ukrainian after Ukraine had regained independence. Prior to 1991, the Soviet authorities – apart from various prohibitions known from the time of Russian tsars – had created a system of interfering in internal laws of language, prohibiting certain words, syntactic constructions or orthographic rules, and propagating others, closer to Russian, which had a virtually dominating position in nearly all fields. This led to an abnormal linguistic situation, the unconscious fusing of Ukrainian and Russian, both at the level of phonetics and morphology as well as syntactic norms and collocations. That is why, after 1991 – apart from changes in the lexical system, associated with developments in science, technology and political and economic transformations – we can observe the tendency to depart from Russified forms, which violate the norms of Ukrainian literary language, and to return to old native linguistic traditions.
