Artykuł ma charakter oryginalny i został poświęcony problematyce nagród i wyróżnień dla zawodników e-sportowych. Omawiane motywacyjne instrumenty finansowe uregulowano w ustawie prawo sportowe w art. 31. W ramach opracowania podjęto próbę rozwiązania problemu prawnego, polegającego na znalezieniu odpowiedzi na pytanie o prawną możliwość ustanawiania i finansowania nagród oraz wyróżnień dla zawodników sportów elektronicznych przez gminy na podstawie art. 31 ustawy o sporcie. Ze względu na jednostkowe i przyczynkarskie prace z zakresu finansowania e-sportu, jednakże niepodejmujące problematyki ustanawiania i finansowania nagród i wyróżnień dla zawodników sportów elektronicznych na podstawie art. 31 ustawy o sporcie, opracowanie tej problematyki w ramach artykułu niewątpliwie wzbogaci aktualną literaturę przedmiotu. Rozważania wstępne koncentrują się na przedstawieniu istoty definicji sportu oraz próbie zakwalifikowania e-sportu jako sportu w myśl ustawy o sporcie, co ma istotne znaczenie dla możliwości ustanowienia przez j.s.t. nagród i wyróżnień. Zaprezentowano najważniejsze poglądy literatury, orzecznictwo sądowe oraz stan prawny w tym zakresie. Dociekania w tym zakresie doprowadziły do sformułowania konkluzji, że – z kilkoma zastrzeżeniami – możliwe jest zakwalifikowanie e-sportu jako sportu. Kolejno skoncentrowano się na prawnych aspektach, dotyczących możliwości ustanawiania i finasowania przez gminy nagród i wyróżnień dla zawodników e sportowych. Rozwiązano problem dotyczący rozumienia na gruncie ustawy o sporcie współzawodnictwa i wskazano, że e-sportowcy, pomimo braku polskiego związku e-sportowego, mogą uczestniczyć we współzawodnictwie sportowym na gruncie ustawy o sporcie. Ponadto wyjaśniono rozumienie problematycznej w praktyce przesłanki, dotyczącej znaczenia danego sportu dla j.s.t. Końcowe rozważania w tym obszarze pozwoliły na sformułowanie postulatów de lege ferenda. Przedmiot analizy stanowią unormowania prawne oraz wypowiedzi doktryny i judykatury. Artykuł zawiera rozważania dotyczące sfery normatywnej i dogmatycznej, a także sfery stosowania prawa przez sądy administracyjne. Badania mają charakter krajowy. W artykule zastosowano metodę dogmatyczno-prawną, polegającą na analizie regulacji prawnych, dotyczących ustanawiania i finansowania nagród i wyróżnień zawodników sportów elektronicznych.
The article is original in nature and was devoted to the problem of awards and prizes for e-sports players. The motivational financial instruments in question are regulated in the Law on Sports in Article 31. Within the framework of the study, the author attempted to solve the legal problem of finding an answer to the question of the legal possibility of establishing and financing awards and prizes for e-sports players by municipalities on the basis of Article 31 of the Law on Sports. Due to the unitary and causal works in the field of e-sports financing, however, which do not address the issue of establishing and financing awards and prizes for players of electronic sports on the basis of Article 31 of the Law on Sports, the development of this issue within the framework of the article, in the author’s opinion, will undoubtedly enrich the current literature on the subject. The preliminary considerations focus on presenting the essence of the definition of sports and an attempt to qualify e-sports as sports under the Law on Sports, which has important implications for the possibility of establishing prizes and awards by the local authorities. Relevant views of the literature, judicial decisions and the state of the law in this area were presented. Investigations in this regard led to the conclusion that it is possible to qualify e-sports as a sport under several reservations. Subsequently, the focus was on the legal aspects concerning the possibility of municipalities establishing and financing awards and prizes for e-sports players. The problem of understanding competition on the grounds of the Law on Sports was resolved, and it was pointed out that e-sports players, despite the lack of a Polish e-sports association, can participate in sports competition on the grounds of the Law on Sports. In addition, the understanding of the problematic in practice premise concerning the importance of a given sport for the local authority was clarified. Finally, considerations in this area allowed the formulation of postulates de lege ferenda. The subject of analysis are legal norms and statements of doctrine and jurisprudence. The article includes considerations of the normative and dogmatic sphere, as well as the sphere of application of law by administrative courts. The research is domestic in nature. This article uses the dogmatic-legal method of analyzing the legal regulations on the establishment and financing of prizes and awards of electronic sports players.

This study aimed to investigate the bilateral kinematic differences in temporal variables between the Dominant and Non-dominant legs in the roundhouse kick of college-level women practicing Taekwondo. Four male athletes with black belts volunteered to participate in the study. Participants were instructed to perform five kicks with each leg after visual stimuli at maximal velocity allowing 30-s passive recovery time between each kick. Reaction time, movement time, and attack time in the roundhouse kick were assessed using video cameras and force platforms for both the dominant and non-dominant legs. The analysis revealed no significant differences in reaction times (0.15 ±0.03 and 0.15 ±0.04 s, n=20), movement times (0.62 ±0.06 and 0.64 ±0.04 s, n=20), or attack times (0.77 ±0.09 and 0.79 ±0.06 s, n=20) for the dominant and non-dominant legs (p>0.05). However, a bilateral dominance was observed, consistent with the sporting level of the participants. These results support the training regimen both-guards oriented equally to improve overall performance in Taekwondo.

The key views of the literature, judicial decisions, and the state of the law in this area were presented. Investigations in this area have led to the conclusion that, with a few reservations, it is possible to qualify e-sport as a sport. Subsequently, the focus was on the legal aspects concerning the possibility for municipalities to establish and finance prizes and awards for e-sports players. The article contains considerations concerning the normative and dogmatic sphere as well as the sphere of law application by administrative courts. The research has a national character. In this article, the dogmatic-legal method has been applied, consisting of the analysis of legal regulations on the establishment and financing of awards and prizes for players of electronic sports. The subject matter discussed is divided into several main editorial units. The different parts correspond to the main outline of the problem and its relation to important scientific and practical issues.

Depression is one of the most frequent mental diseases, and has a detrimental impact on numerous areas of human life. The development of depression may be fostered by various factors: genetic, biochemical, biological, mental and social. A significant role when treating depressive disorders is played by pharmacological, psychotherapeutic or cognitive and behavioral impacts. There is also evidence proving high effectiveness of properly dosed physical activity, both in the prevention and in the treatment of depressive disorders. The article is aimed at presenting the influence of regular physical activity on the improvement in emotional intelligence, in the treatment of depressive disorders. The paper is a narrative review and has been written based on the documentation analysis method, using the quantitative and the qualitative technique. The tool used was the Polish and the international scientific literature from databases, i.e. Web of Science, PubMed, Google Scholar and Europe PMC. The research material was constituted by groups of women and men, aged 9 to 80, varying in the numbers of group members. The research tools used were various psychological questionnaires, as well as magnetic resonance images. The study covered various forms of physical activity and the period of their use, while MRI was applied to assess morphological changes occurring in the brain as a result of undertaken physical activity. It was proven that regular physical training, regardless of its form, causes a reduction in stress and depression symptoms in all the respondents, notwithstanding their age and gender.
Depresja jest jedną z najczęstszych chorób psychicznych, która negatywnie wpływa na wiele obszarów życia człowieka. Rozwojowi depresji mogą sprzyjać różne czynniki: genetyczne, biochemiczne, biologiczne, psychiczne i społeczne. W terapii zaburzeń depresyjnych znaczącą rolę odgrywa oddziaływanie farmakologiczne, psychoterapeutyczne czy poznawczo-behawioralne. Istnieją również dowody wskazujące na dużą skuteczność, zarówno w profilaktyce jak i leczeniu zaburzeń depresyjnych, odpowiednio dozowanej aktywności fizycznej. Celem artykułu było przedstawienie wpływu regularnie podejmowanej aktywności fizycznej na poprawę inteligencji emocjonalnej w leczeniu zaburzeń depresyjnych. Praca ma charakter przeglądu narracyjnego, została napisana w oparciu o metodę analizy dokumentacji z wykorzystaniem techniki ilościowej i jakościowej. Natomiast narzędziem była polska i zagraniczna literatura naukowa z baz danych, tj. Web of Science, PubMed, Google Scholar i Europe PMC. Materiał badawczy stanowiły różne liczebnie grupy zarówno kobiet jak i mężczyzn w wieku od 9 do 80 lat. Narzędziami badawczymi były różne kwestionariusze psychologiczne, a także rezonans magnetyczny. Badano różne formy aktywności fizycznej i czasokres ich wykorzystania, a rezonansem magnetycznym oceniano zmiany morfologiczne w mózgu zachodzące pod wpływem podejmowanej aktywności fizycznej. Dowiedziono, że regularnie podejmowany trening fizyczny bez względu na jego formę powoduje zmniejszenie objawów stresu i depresji u wszystkich badanych osób, niezależnie od wieku i płci.

Introduction: Educational systems and related evaluation policies tend to change and adapt to the demands of society all over the world. In Greece, the latest education policy includes the update and adaption of the educational curricula and the introduction of evaluation of teachers and adult trainers on vocational education and training (VET). The evaluation of teachers and trainers involved in the Public vocational training Institutes (VTI) and specifically in the Specialties of Sports’ Coach through an effective evaluation process could identify the strengths and weaknesses of the trainers and create professional development opportunities within their knowledge of content, pedagogy, and curriculum. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the perceptions of Physical Education Teachers who teach as Adult Trainers in public and private VTIs in the specialty of Sports Coach (e.g., Soccer Coach, Basketball Coach, Track and Field Coach, Tennis Coach, Strength and Conditioning Coach, AEROBICS Instructor), regarding their evaluation on VET. Methods: In this study, 102 participants (M = 44.9 ± 11.02 years old), 55 males (53.9%) and 47 females (46.1%) participated. A relevant questionnaire about Teachers’ Evaluation was adapted and used. Non-parametric statistical tests were applied and descriptive statistics were calculated for all variables. Results: The results showed different perceptions among some items of the questionnaire depending on the work institution - public / private VTIs (p ≤ 0.05), educational level (p ≤ 0.05) and teaching experience (p ≤ 0.05). Conclusions: These results underscore the complexity and variability in perceptions of educational evaluation. These findings suggest the importance of considering various factors, such as institutional type, teaching experience, and educational level, in the design and implementation of evaluation systems to ensure they are effective, equitable, and conducive to professional growth.

The quality of the musculoskeletal system in children is important in terms of primary prevention of postural disorders in adulthood. The aim of the pilot study was to assess the impact of the Propriofoot Concept exercises within the physical and sports education classes on the postural health of female students with an emphasis on the foot, joint range of the ankle, the gait, pain elimination and overall body posture as a manifestation of its functionality. The sample consisted of Ʃ n = 27 high-school female students in age(x) 16.3 ± 0.7 years. In terms of data collection methods, standardized procedures and methods for physical education and physiotherapy practice were applied, focusing on the selected factors (an emphasis on the foot, joint range of the ankle, the gait, pain elimination and overall body posture) of the musculoskeletal system. Diagnostics were applied before and after the 6-month program. The obtained results show that the exercise programme based on the Propriofoot Concept had a significant (Wtest, p < 0.01) and positive effect on the structure and function of the foot, as well as flexion and extension at the ankle joint, which resulted in the elimination of foot pain and improvement of gait. The final assessment (V2) showed that the foot structure and function improved (p < 0.01) and had a positive influence on the overall body posture, as well as its individual segments, in which we found significant changes between V1 and V2. At the same time, we found a relationship between foot functionality and overall body posture, as well as between other monitored factors. These findings point to the importance of targeted exercises, implemented in physical and sports education, to female students’ postural health.

Ideą tekstu jest próba odpowiedzi na pytanie, na ile dynamika widowisk piłkarskich prezentowanych w kreskówkach telewizyjnych jest reprezentacją tempa i dramaturgii rzeczywistych wydarzeń sportowych i naśladowaniem towarzyszących im transmisji telewizyjnych, a na ile jest kreowaniem nowej wizualnej dramaturgii, opierającej się swoistych i niepowtarzalnych efektach i środkach wyrazu.
Animated television series about soccer/football are a grateful area of research on the visual layer because these are productions located at the intersection of the specificity of film work for children, animation techniques used by the creators themselves, historical and cultural factors influencing their final aesthetics and the conditions of the soccer as a sports discipline. This article aims to indicate the ways of reflecting the dynamics of the sports events in the animated series selected for the analysis. The idea of the text is to answer the question of to what extent the dynamics of soccer/football events presented in television cartoons are a representation of the pace and drama of real sports events and imitation of the accompanying television broadcasts, and to what extent it is the creation of a new visual drama based on specific and unique effects and means of expression.

The subject of this article is the use of ADR in sports disputes in association football under the Polish and Ukrainian law. Professional and amateur sport generates various types of disputes related to both disciplinary and civil cases, an example of which may be disputes arising during the execution of contracts binding players and football clubs. In the first part, the scope of disputes that are subject to ADR in association football is outlined. The next part presents legal solutions adopted under the Polish law in this respect, of which the activity of the Football Arbitration Court of the Polish Football Association is a particular example. The last chapter is devoted to the Ukrainian perspective on the resolution of disputes in association football.

The article is devoted to the theoretical substantiation of contextual methodology of formation of diagnostic competence of future officers – specialists of physical training and sports in higher military educational institutions. Scientific approaches of foreign and domestic scientists to the concept of “methodology” are analyzed and generalized and the author’s definition of the concept “methodology of forming diagnostic competence of future officers – specialists of physical training and sports in the process of professional and pedagogical training” is proposed. Research methods: theoretical analysis of scientific literature; generalization and interpretation of the obtained theoretical and empirical data; design of contextual methodology of diagnostic competence formation. It contains the leading idea or principle, goals, objectives, stages, content, methods, methodological techniques and means of its formation in the process of professional-pedagogical education. The importance of introducing the special course “Diagnostic competence of future officers – specialists in physical training and sports and its formation in higher military educational institutions” is revealed and substantiated. It synthesizes, systematizes and concretizes the content of all their professional-pedagogical competence on the implementation of their diagnostic function in their future position in the troops. The content of the special course includes the following topics: Topic 1. Future officer – specialist of physical training and sport: concept, content and structure as a subject of educational activity in higher military educational institutions. Theme 2. Diagnostic activity of an officer – specialist of physical training and sport as a subject of military-professional activity in higher military educational institutions. Topic 3: Diagnostic competence of officers – specialists of physical training and sport as a component of military- -professional competence in military units. Theme 4. Methodology of formation of diagnostic competence of future officers – specialists in physical training and sports as subjects of diagnostic activity in higher military educational institutions. The following stages of method realization are defined: diagnostic-motivational; cognitive-activational; evaluative-resultant.

The aim of the paper is to analyze relations between perceived quality, service convenience and satisfaction of squash customers to present implications for managers who address parents enrolling their children for extracurricular activities with their services. Applying the research framework of García-Fernández et al. (2018), a sample of 120 parents from Legia Warszawa Squash Academy completed an online survey in 2021. The SEM model revealed that perceived quality as well as service convenience had a positive and significant effect on perceived value, which turned out to be a strong predictor of customer satisfaction. Finally, satisfaction showed a very strong positive and significant influence on behavioral intentions of squash customers. The present study makes both a theoretical and a practical contribution to the field of sports management, highlighting the importance of perceived quality and service convenience to deliver expected value to the customer.

The article presents author’s own opinion on case C-333/21 which concerns the controversial project of organizing a football Super League (ESL). The aim of this initiative is to develop a commercial organizational formula for football competition, which at the same time would be independent of the structures of FIFA and UEFA. For the above reasons, the resolution of the dispute before the Court of Justice of the European Union has a significant impact on the answer to the question about the future of the organizational structure of European football. In this case, the EU competition law and the determination of a catalog of values are of fundamental importance that could possibly justify compliance of the restrictions applied by FIFA and UEFA in relation to ESL organizers with Articles 101 and 102 TFUE.

Opis:
In the 1990s, there were significant social and economic changes in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), significantly impacting the sports sector’s development. After the collapse of the Eastern Bloc, CEE countries underwent a political, economic, and social transformation process, which also had significant consequences for the sports industry. One of the critical elements of the transformation was opening of borders, establishing business relations with Western Europe, and, subsequently, integrating most of CEE countries with the European Union. This new situation increased the possibility of the free movement of people, goods, and capital, translating into more sports investments. Although more than 30 years have passed since those political and social changes, we still see a need for highly skilled sports professionals in most postcommunist countries – the centrally controlled management model (still dominant in Poland and many CEE countries) is ineffective. Adopting a sustainable managerial approach is necessary, including harmonizing sports and economic goals and using strategies and tools used to manage other economic sectors. In the context of sport management, the managerial approach should ensure not only the achievement of sports success and the improvement of financial results (e.g., of a sports club), but also the undertaking of actions to promote physical activity and “sport for everyone” to build the health and sports potential of the whole society.

Background: The aim of the article is to highlight the importance of mediation in resolving disputes in sports, which is, in the consideration of the Author, underestimated. bMaterials and Methods: The text is based on literature and articles that consider this method of ending conflicts, internet recognition, and the presentation of a hypothetical (based on the Nonviolent communication mediation model) case study. Conclusions: Mediation is not widely used in the process of resolving disputes in sports. There is no example of using a mediation model based on NVC in the Polish internet space. Mediations based on NVC can be treated as a possible and successful means of ending conflicts in sports. This area (mediation and mediation based on NVC) is worth more advanced research.

It can be confidently stated that the military-professional activity of the chiefs of physical training and sports in the Armed Forces is complex, multifaceted and multifunctional, which is not limited to their functional duties. We took into account the experience gained during the war and the feedback of specialists in the field of physical culture and sports. Future officers-specialists in physical education and sports should not only be able to implement their official competencies, but also to perform the tasks set before them by combat activity in the course of a full-scale war. The purpose of the article is to define and substantiate the organizational and pedagogical conditions that will positively influence to the formation of methodical competence in future officers (commanders) and specialists in physical education and sports. During the analysis of the scientific literature, the main aspects of the implementation of organizational and pedagogical conditions in the process of training military specialists were established. These aspects ensure high-quality and effective formation of methodological competence among future officers – physical culture and sports specialists in the Armed Forces of Ukraine during their professional training. We also conducted an expert evaluation. The experts were chosen according to certain requirements – combat experience, a candidate of science degree, a doctor of philosophy or a doctor of science, and more than 10 years of experience in training future officers. With the help of expert assessment and analysis of scientific literature, organizational and pedagogical conditions were defined and justified, which will ensure the improvement of the quality and efficiency of the formation of our psychological and pedagogical phenomenon. The first condition is the purposeful formation of professional and methodical qualities in cadets as future officers (commanders) and specialists in physical culture and sports. The next is the availability of modern interdisciplinary methods for the formation of methodological competence among future officers- -specialists in physical culture and sports of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the process of their professional training. It is also important to use objective criteria and indicators for diagnosing the levels of methodological competence formation in future officers-specialists in physical culture and sports. The final condition is pedagogical modeling of the formation of methodological competence in future officers-specialists in physical education and sports.
