    Opis:
    The present article relates to the subject of the relocation of buildings. It presents a historical background of operations of this type carried out in the past around the world, as well as in Poland. It goes on to discuss in more detail some pioneering structural and technological solutions used during the relocation of the Rogatka Grochowska (Grochowska tollgate) building, carried out in 1961 in Warsaw. The article’s main theme is the process of relocation of a historic building No. 15 within the old Norblin Factory in Warsaw, which took place during the final months of 2018. The article briefly presents the factory’s history. It also describes the assumptions of the related project, which covers the development of the old Norblin Factory. It discusses in detail the concept and the scope of the relocation of building No. 15, with the description of the structural and technical design related to this process. The progress of the relocation which took place in 2018 has been reported in detail.
    W artykule podjęto tematykę związaną z przemieszczaniem budynków. Przedstawiono tło historyczne tego typu operacji jakie miały miejsce na świecie, jak również na terenie Polski. Omówiono szerzej pionierskie rozwiązania konstrukcyjnej i technologiczne, które zastosowano podczas przesunięcia budynku Rogatki Grochowskiej, jaka miała miejsce w 1961 roku w Warszawie. Zasadniczym przedmiotem artykułu była operacja przesunięcia zabytkowego budynku nr 15 w starej Fabryce Norblina w Warszawie, która zrealizowano pod koniec 2018. Krótko scharakteryzowano historię fabryki. Przybliżono założenia inwestycji, obejmującą adaptację starej Fabryki Norblina. Szczegółowo omówiono koncepcję i zakres przesunięcia budynku nr 15, przedstawiając projekt konstrukcyjny i technologiczny dotyczący tej operacji. Zdano szczegółową relację z przebiegu przesunięcia obiektu dokonanego w roku 2018.

    Opis:
    The paper focuses on modern martensitic steel (Docol 1200M) and its joint manufactured by means of welding process supported by micro-jet cooling for special vehicles’ structures. Docol 1200M is a type of material denoted as AHSS (A- advanced; H - high; S – strength; S - steel) with important material characteristics, which allows the potential to reduce the weight of the construction of transport means. The paper verifies if the use of micro-jet cooling after MAG welding process could help to maintain initial mechanical parameters of special vehicles’ components. The quality of the joining process was checked by nondestructive and destructive tests. Results from tensile tests have enabled capturing the stress-strain curve as well as mechanical parameters and comparison with data of the parent material. Fatigue properties of the weld are described in terms of the fatigue limit and fatigue diagram, presenting fatigue limit as a key mechanical parameter with respect to the application of the joint examined. Testing the fatigue strength of a new steel grade for special vehicles’ structures in the innovative MAG process at micro-jet cooling was treated as the main goal of the study.

    Opis:
    In the paper, special clothing is understood as protective clothing used by services, in particular fire services, but also military and police, working in fire hazard conditions, where the main risk factors for the user are: a high temperature, a contact with hot objects, and a mechanical damage. The presented study deals with the review of special clothing industry and discusses cloths structure for compliance with national and European regulations. The parameters of technical fibers used for production of the above-mentioned clothes used during firefighting in open spaces, made of flame retardant yarns, e.g., aramid yarns or mixtures of flame retardant yarns, were analysed.
    W artykule ubrania specjalne rozumiane są jako odzież ochronna stosowana przez służby, w szczególności pożarnicze, ale także wojskowe i policyjne, pracujące w warunkach zagrożenia pożarowego, gdzie głównymi czynnikami ryzyka dla użytkownika są: wysoka temperatura, kontakt z gorącymi przedmiotami i uszkodzenia mechaniczne. W pracy dokonano rozpoznania branży produkcji ubrań specjalnych i omówiono ich budowę w odniesieniu do zgodności z przepisami krajowymi i europejskimi. analizie poddano parametry włókien technicznych służących do produkcji ww. ubrań stosowanych podczas gaszenia pożarów w przestrzeni otwartej, wykonanych z przędz trudnopalnych, np. aramidowych, lub z mieszanek przędz trudnopalnych.

    In information science ontologies are defined as content theories about the entities, properties of entities and relations between entities in a specified domain of discourse. This paper provides a conceptual introduction to applied ontologies and their role in describing knowledge in the light of the anthropocentric theory of human languages created by F. Grucza. The Author discusses what kind of knowledge ontologies primarily represent and deliberates on relations between ontologies, texts and knowledge.
