sorbenty mineralno-węglowe - Opis:
- Five heavy metals (Pb,Ni,Zn,Cu,Cd) were investigated for efficiency of removal from model solutions, using mineral-carbon adsorbents. For the purpose of comparision, use was also made of a non-modified activated carbon,Norit, which is widely applied to watertreatment.Experiments were run with mineral-carbon adsorbents(both powdered and granural) which had been prepered by thermal carbonization of the organic substances contained in natural aluminiosilicates. The experiments also involved a granular mineral-carbon adsorbent, the composition of which had been modified so as to increase chemisorption and fixation of metal cations in the mass and on the surface of the grain. The modified adsorbent was found to be most efficient in removing the investigated heavy metals from the agueous solutions.Activated carbon (Norit)showed wery poor adsorbing capacity for hesvy metals. Thus, the efficiency of adsorption(R) for the Pb cation (which showed the highest removal in this study) was only 17.9% at a carbon dose of 30g/dm3 and a Pb concentration of 100 g/m3.
