    Opis:
    In the article was presented results of international researches about environmental consciousness. The project was realized in 2015. The main purpose of this article is to describe the level of environmental knowledge, values and attitudes among university students from Central Eastern Europe. In introduction of article was defined concept of environmental awareness. The research problem is question: What are differences in the state of environmental awareness between respondents living in the Poland, Slovakia and Ukraine? In the first part text was presented methodology of the conducted research. The second part of the article concerns the analysis of the collected data. On the basis of the conducted research it can maintain that the students of Central and Eastern Europe generally declared interest the state of the environment. The overall outcome of the research leads to the conclusion that the highest proportion of the respondents who declared interest in the environmental protection came from Slovakia. The fact that in their opinion it should care about the environment more than the students from Poland and Ukraine may result from the higher level of the environmental awareness.
    W artykule przedstawione zostały wyniki międzynarodowych badań na temat świadomości środowiskowej. Projekt został zrealizowany w roku 2015. Głównym celem niniejszego artykułu jest opisanie poziomu wiedzy, akceptowanych wartości i postaw studentów z Europy Środkowej i Wschodniej względem przyrody. We wstępie artykułu zdefiniowano pojęcie świadomości środowiskowej. Problem badawczy został sformułowany w następujący sposób: Jakie występują różnice w stanie świadomości środowiskowej między respondentami z Polski, Słowacji i Ukrainy? W pierwszej części artykułu przedstawiona została metodologia przeprowadzonych badań. Druga część tekstu dotyczy analizy zebranych danych. Na jej podstawie można stwierdzić, że wybrani studenci z Europy Środkowej i Wschodniej ogólnie wykazywali zainteresowanie stanem środowiska przyrodniczego. Przeprowadzona analiza statystyczna pozwala również na sformułowanie wniosku, iż najwyższy odsetek respondentów, którzy deklarowali zainteresowanie ochroną środowiska stanowili słowaccy studenci. Fakt ten świadczy o tym, iż respondenci ze Słowacji prezentowali wyższy poziom świadomości środowiskowej niż studenci z Polski i Ukrainy.

    Opis:
    The aim of this article is to recall the theory of the sociology of education created almost a century ago by the classic of Polish sociology, Florian Znaniecki, in order to show the topicality of his concept in the face of the symptoms of the crisis of the educational system. The article presents the biographical context and scientific achievements of the creator of the sociology of education. The relations between the disciplines of educational sociology, general sociology and pedagogy were explained. The goals and components of the upbringing process and the system of sociology of upbringing by Florian Znaniecki were outlined. Attention was also paid to the educational environment defined by Florian Znaniecki and the upbringing process was characterized as a preparation for fulfilling the social roles. The theses postulated by the creator of the sociology of education were related to the contemporary educational environment.

    Opis:
    Autor rekonstruuje przebieg V Ogólnopolskiego Zjazdu Socjologicznego z perspektywy politycznych interesów Służby Bezpieczeństwa oraz Polskiej Zjednoczonej Partii Robotniczej. Zjazd miał miejsce w środku ery Edwarda Gierka, oficjalnie otwartego na środowiska akademickie. Polityka pozornej otwartości oraz gwałtownej modernizacji zaowocowała zresztą w akademickiej socjologii pewnymi instytucjonalnymi zdobyczami (np. założono nowe instytuty badawcze), z drugiej strony jednak sprowadziła nauki społeczne do narzędzia politycznej legitymizacji. Z tego punktu widzenia to, czego nie powiedziano podczas V Ogólnopolskiego Zjazdu Socjologicznego, staje się najbardziej interesujące. Trudno odnaleźć jakiekolwiek kontrowersje czy gorące debaty podczas Zjazdu, choć trzeba mieć świadomość, że Zjazd poddany był systematycznej infiltracji ze strony SB wyczulonej na każdy krytyczny głos. Autor wykorzystuje materiały archiwalne Instytutu Pamięci Narodowej.
    The author reconstructs the course of the 5th All–Poland Sociological Convention from the perspective of the political interests of the Security Service (SB) and the Polish United Workers’ Party (PZPR). The convention took place in the midst of the Edward Gierek era – officially conducive to academic circles. The politics of apparent openness and sudden modernization resulted in some important institutional benefits for academic Sociology (e.g. new research institutes were funded) yet reduced the social sciences to the functional tool of political legitimacy. From that point of view, what was lacking in the essence of 5th All–Poland Sociological Convention becomes the most interesting topic. One can hardly find any controversies or hot disputes during the convention, but it should be also borne in mind that the Convention was subjected to systematic infiltration of the SB sensitive to any unorthodox voices. The author uses the archival records of the Institute of National Remembrance as source.

    Prezentowany tekst pokazuje znaczenie roli społecznej w postrzeganiu świata. W pracy przyjęto zaproponowaną przez Ralpha Lintona koncepcję roli społecznej uznającą, że zajmowana pozycja w strukturze społecznej wpływa na interpretację doświadczanej rzeczywistości. Prezentowane opracowanie oparte jest na opiniach głównych aktorów funkcjonujących w środowisku szkolnym: uczniów i nauczycieli. Parametry, które były brane pod uwagę w zestawianiu opinii respondentów, pokazały, że wykazywali się różną wrażliwością na otaczający świat. Przy opracowaniu materiału uwzględniono ich odpowiedzi w następujących kwestiach: po pierwsze – szkolnego systemu normatywnego, po drugie – zachowań uczniów w stosunku do innych podmiotów funkcjonujących w środowisku szkolnym, po trzecie – źródeł zachowań dewiacyjnych.
    The following text shows the significance of the social role in the perception of the world. It works in accordance with Ralph Linton's proposed concept of the social role in accepting that a given position within the social structure, influences one's interpretation of the preceived reality. The research was concluded focusing on the main actors within the school environment: the students and the teachers, who were the sole participants in the reseach and form its basis. The parameters that were measured had differing views in the world that they perceive. A note was made on the opinions about; firstly, the school normative systems, secondly on the behaviour of students towards others in general and thirdly on sources of deviant behaviours. This spectrum of percetion was measured and quantified between the two respected parties in the cases of the following independent variables: varying degrees of identification or belonging to a school environment and how school types (private or public) influence the results of both students and teachers, furthermore it attempts to shed light on the basis of their views.
