Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie środowiska rodzinnego jako kluczowego elementu kształtowania postaw wobec współczesnych zagrożeń społecznych oraz próba wskazania sposobów na podniesienie stanu świadomości istniejących zagrożeń w jej obrębie. Złożoność transformacji rodziny w cywilizacji zachodniej, powoduje refleksje nad środowiskiem rodzinnym jako miejscem tworzenia wzorców zachowań determinujących postawy wobec współczesnych zagrożeń społecznych.
Creating conditions for the constant growth of the societies’ safety level that answer individual needs, provide healthcare or create favorable working conditions, as well as help to approach life targets, gain significant meaning in the modern world. Economic disproportion, rising crime, numerous social pathology cases, endangered social life, and deprivation of traditional principles among the Western civilization countries, those are just the most vivid examples of a deep moral crisis in current realm. In such background it is the family which arises to the role of the social safety and order supporter. The aim of the article is both, to present a family environment as a key element that shapes attitudes when confronting modern social threats, and it is also an attempt to indicate ways to increase the awareness level on existing dangers in its matter. After introducing families complexity within the western civilization an attempt will be taken to analyze a family as the basic environment of constructing behavioristic patterns determining attitudes towards current social threats.

Stosowanie nowoczesnych technologii umożliwiających zwiększenie komfortu bezpieczeństwa pracy w sieci jest zagadnieniem ciągle aktualnym. Podobnie jak większość rozwiązań, także sieć Internet ma swe blaski i cienie. Burzliwy rozwój technologii i techniki w XXI wieku stał się przyczyną ogólnodostępnej mnogości rozwiązań, częstokroć nie do końca sprawdzonych, których niezawodność pozostawia wiele do życzenia. Powszechna globalizacja, gromadzenie, przetwarzanie i przechowywanie ogromnych ilości danych osobowych, firmowych, państwowych, strategicznych - dają szereg możliwości, ale także stwarzają liczne i różnorakie zagrożenia. Dla każdego ważne jest by zachować poufność udostępnianych i przetwarzanych danych. Na tej płaszczyźnie pojawia się wiele konfliktów interesów. Ze względu na szeroko pojęte poczucie bezpieczeństwa, szczególnie w ostatnich kilku latach, użytkownik sieci nie pozostaje anonimowy. Firmy i instytucje zabezpieczają się przed utratą danych z jednej strony poprzez specjalistyczne oprogramowanie, z drugiej zaś poprzez wiedzę o swoich klientach (użytkownikach). Dla usprawnienia działania sieci oraz zachowania anonimowości i uniknięcia komercjalizacji powstały takie rozwiązania, jak: sieć TOR, czy FreeNet. Działa również tzw. Darknet, Hidden services czy Deep Web. Są to rozwiązania dla tych wszystkich, którzy z różnych powodów chcą pozostać anonimowi. Niestety nie wynika to tylko z chęci bycia niezależnym od korporacji i szeroko pojętej inwigilacji w celach zapewnienia bezpieczeństwa. W artykule podjęta zostanie próba dokonania analizy bezpieczeństwa użytkowania i poruszania się w sieci w obliczu występujących zagrożeń i współczesnych wyzwań.
The use of modern technologies to increase the comfort of work safety in the network is still an issue. Like most solutions, the Internet has the pros and cons. The turbulent development of technology and technique in the twenty-first century has become a cause of generally available multitude of solutions often with do not fully proven reliability which leaves much to be desired. The globalization, collection, processing and storage of huge amounts of personal, company, national and strategic data - give a number of possibilities, but also create a numerous and various threats. For each one it is important to preserve the confidentiality of data being shared and processed. There are many conflicts of interest on this level. Due to the broad sense of security, especially in the last few years, the network user does not remain anonymous. Companies and institutions protect themselves against data loss on the one hand through specialized software, and on the other by knowledge about their customers (users). In order to improve the network operation, keep anonymity and avoid commercialization, solutions such as the TOR network or FreeNet were created. There is also a socalled Darknet, Hidden services or Deep Web. These are solutions for all those who want to remain anonymous for various reasons. Unfortunately, it does not result only from a desire to be independent from corporation and widely concept invigilation operated in order to security assurance. In the article, the attempt to analyze the safety of using and navigating the network in the face of existing threats and contemporary challenges will be made.

Opis:
Th e paper elaborates on several actual “dangerous fads” among youngsters and children that from early age take an active part in computer-mediated Internet communication. On the one side there is a phenomenon of fashion that has been infl uential since the early modernity basing on the novelty craze and distinction. On the other side, in the late modernity there are the advanced communication and information technologies that have brought about new and instant communication practices for the youngsters, especially in the developed world. Social media enormously facilitate various hazardous activities of youngsters in terms of mutual informing, experience sharing or even community creation around various more or less safe activities and interests. Several social networking mechanisms (contagion, homophily etc.) are presented along with the respective threats connected with the dangerous youth fads that spread easily thanks to the new technologies and advanced electronic networking skills of the youth.
W artykule przeanalizowano szereg “niebezpiecznych mód” wśród młodzieży i dzieci, którzy już od wczesnych lat biorą aktywny udział w komunikacji internetowej. Z jednej strony, warto zwrócić uwagę na zjawisko mody, wynikającej jeszcze z czasów wczesnej nowoczesności i opierającej się na pogoni za nowością i wyróżnianiem się. Z innej strony, w czasach późnej nowoczesności mamy do czynienia z zaawansowanymi technologiami komunikacyjnymi i informacyjnymi, które umożliwiły praktyki nowej, praktycznie natychmiastowej komunikacji, w szczególności wśród młodzieży w krajach rozwiniętych. Media społecznościowe bardzo ułatwiają ryzykowne działania młodych użytkowników w sensie wzajemnego informowania, dzielenia się doświadczeniem lub nawet kształtowanie wspólnoty. W artykule pokazano pewne mechanizmy działania sieci społecznych (zaraźliwość, homofi lia), rzutujące na zagrożenie, które jest związane z niebezpiecznymi zainteresowaniami młodzieży, szybko rozpowszechniającymi się dzięki nowym technologiom i zaawansowanym umiejętnościom sieciowym młodzieży.

Udostępnianie wizerunku dzieci w internecie, głównie w mediach społecznościowych, budzi wiele pytań i wątpliwości. Są one związane m.in. z ochroną prywatności dziecka i tym, czy rodzic ma prawo za nie decydować i umieszczać w sieci jego zdjęcia, które – mając na uwadze jej naturę – pozostaną tam na zawsze. Wątpliwości te narastają w przypadku zdjęć przedstawiających dzieci nagie i półnagie. Celem badań było poznanie opinii matek na temat prezentowania zdjęć dzieci przez rodziców w internecie, a także ich wiedzy dotyczącej zagrożenia, jakim jest pornografia dziecięca. W badaniach wykorzystano zdjęcia z kampanii „Pomyśl, zanim wrzucisz”. Uzyskane wyniki wskazują na rozbieżność między wiedzą a umiejętnością jej wykorzystania – badane zdają sobie sprawę z zagrożeń związanych z publikacją wizerunku dziecka, ale jednocześnie wydaje się, że nie do końca traktują je jako coś realnego, co może przydarzyć się im i ich dzieciom. W tym zakresie istnieje duża potrzeba edukacji.
Sharenting, mainly through social media, raises many questions and doubts. They are related inter alia with the protection of a child’s privacy and a parent’s right to decide for a child and post his/her pictures, which, given the nature of the internet, remain there forever. Questions arise in the case of pictures depicting naked and half-naked children. The aim of the study was to find mothers’ opinion on sharing children’s pictures on the internet by their parents and on their knowledge of the threat posed by child pornography. In the study pictures from the ‘Think Before You Post’ campaign were used. The results of the study show a discrepancy between the knowledge and the ability to use it: the subjects are aware of the threats connected with the publication of a child’s image, yet at the same time they do not seem to treat it entirely as something real that may happen to them and their children. Hence, there is a great need for education in this area.

The subject matter in article was propels connected with influence of changes of prices energy on quality of life of society. Authors try to establish to Polish realities the adequacy of definition of energetistic poverty as well as to qualify, as the growing costs of electric energy influence on standard of citizens’ life. The European climatical policy extorts on all the member’s countries the change of character of energetistic sector. It follows departure from conventional energetics towards unconventional; gas fuel was replaced carbon, as traditional fuel. The renewable sources of energy find more more and more general use, but their economic efficiency and energetistic it is low. This attracts for me the growth of prices of energy and the costs of maintenance, the level of life of large part population worsens. More and more home farms stand up before problem of height of payments for energy and her carriers. The only subject which can these problems you is solve and his agency. The part of state be propeled in formation energetistic policy also and social policy, in support about national legislation as well as unions.
W artykule poruszono tematykę związaną z wpływem zmian cen energii na jakość życia społeczeństwa. Autorzy próbują ustalić adekwatność definicji ubóstwa energetycznego do polskich realiów oraz określić, jak rosnące koszty energii elektrycznej wpływają na standard życia obywateli. Europejska polityka klimatyczna wymusza na wszystkich krajach członkowskich zmianę charakteru sektora energetycznego. Następuje odejście od energetyki konwencjonalnej ku niekonwencjonalnej; węgiel, jako paliwo tradycyjne, zastępuje się paliwem gazowym. Coraz powszechniejsze zastosowanie znajdują odnawialne źródła energii, ale ich efektywność ekonomiczna i energetyczna jest niska. Pociąga to za sobą wzrost cen energii i kosztów utrzymania, a także pogarsza poziom życia dużej części ludności. Coraz więcej gospodarstw domowych staje przed problemem wysokości opłat za energię i jej nośniki. Jedynym podmiotem, który może te problemy rozwiązać, jest państwo i jego agendy. Poruszana jest również rola państwa w kształtowaniu polityki energetycznej i polityki społecznej na podstawie ustawodawstwa krajowego oraz unijnego.

Social issues have played an important role in the overall teaching of Pope Benedict XVI. Being aware of the existence of many disturbing threats to social life in all its dimensions, the Pope tried to indicate the direction of the solutions to some growing dilemmas. Trying to remedy evil, he pointed to Christ, who strengthens human hearts to overcome threats, inspired by the action of an evil spirit. In his teachings, the Pope raised awareness that a man following Christ is a hope for solving urgent social problems. His goal was not to consider the problems theoretically, but to shape the moral consciousness of a man and constantly appeal to his conscience. In this way, the teaching of Benedict XVI is an expression of the prophetic mission of the Church; is a call to repair the social life.

The contemporary ideology and the practice of transhumanism are carrying a lot of improvements of the human life with themselves, both in the individual dimension, like social. It can, however, also become a cause of objectifying, incapacitating or even annihilating individual people or entire populations. The applying of GRIN technologies are threatening of manipulation on the level of mental and physical structure of the organism. In the face of progressing technological changes the permanent philosophical discussion about norms of bioethics and social ethics is necessary. In the article an applicability of hedonistic and personalistic philosophies is being discussed. There is pointing on personalism as the appropriate basis of ethics in the era transhumanism.

Opis:
Civilizational threats considered from ecological, economic and social aspects are the rudimentary reference point for theoretical studies on sustainable development. Manifold concepts and interpretations of the risk issue were converted into proposals for solutions that are primarily reflected in strategic documents on sustainable development and programs related to security. Mutual interactions, or even interpenetration of some threats on other may affect the efficiency of implementing preventive and corrective programs. Consequently, scientists point to the need of adopting more systemic solutions whose implementation requires a specific policy and properly selected tools of its realization. The key initiator and promoter of sustainable development is the United Nations. The objectives and directions of activities indicated by that organization and including prevention of such threats as poverty, hunger and environmental degradation, were proposed in the United Nations Millennium Declaration. The 15 years of implementing the document’s resolutions concluded in the preparation of a report summarizing the project, i.e. The Millennium Development Goals Report 2015. The present paper outlines the issue of threats in the context of international striving for security and reduction of global, primarily social, problems. It provides an evaluation of the ways in which the UN policy is conducted as well as practical realization of this policy, at the example of the Millennium Declaration. The conducted analysis allowed to define the future prospects for the implementation of this policy, especially with respect to preventing social threats.

Opis:
The subject matter of the paper lies on the borderline of two important social problems i.e. Internet addiction and suicide. The problem of suicide is still treated as a social taboo in contemporary world. Those who have attempted to kill themselves as well as their families are discriminated and ill-treated by their immediate environment and driven into inferiority complex. Every so often the only option left to such people is the Internet that offers an attentive ear and consolation because the access to professional help in the real world may be limited in a given place and in a given moment. On the Internet one may talk and exchange information on any topic at any time of night and day. The Internet is a cheap and widely available platform offering websites, chat rooms, forums and support groups for people experiencing the same problems. It should be emphasized however, that there are dark corners on the Internet which should not be visited by wide audiences. Some online contents are just not well-adjusted to the development age of young Internet users. This paper is a discussion of a metaphoric and literal aspect of suicide on the Internet and a call for more scientific research, educational campaigns and psychoprophylaxis related to the subject matter of suicide and self-destruction. The author emphasizes the necessity to raise awareness to the issue of suicide which is still a social taboo and subject to social myths. Although many specialist facilities, associations and institutions are already involved in addressing the problem, the number of suicide attempts has not been reduced mainly because the activities undertaken are scattered and badly coordinated. The effects of these efforts are not satisfactory neither for theoreticians nor for practitioners.

Artykuł porusza tematykę społecznej odpowiedzialności biznesu w aspekcie logistyki, ze szczególnym zwróceniem uwagi na miejsce pracy, środowisko naturalne, społeczność lokalną oraz rynek. Przedstawione zostały zagrożenia, które mogą wpływać na bezpieczeństwo procesów logistycznych i ryzyko przepływu strumienia rzeczowego oraz informacji. Scharakteryzowano również wybrane unormowania prawne mające wpływ na efektywność działań logistycznych i społeczną odpowiedzialnością biznesu.
The article discusses the issue of the corporate social responsibility in the aspect of logistics, with particular emphasis put on the workplace, natural environment, local community and the market. The paper presents threats that may affect the safety of logistic processes and the risk of the flow of information and the material stream. The selected legal regulations affecting the efficiency of logistic activities and corporate social responsibility.

Opis:
Universal computerization is growing at an extremely dynamic pace. This applies to the development of information networks and systematically increased computerization of our home, family and social life. There is a growing number of discussions around increasingly accessible information. There is no doubt that the widespread computerization of our lives is largely a qualitatively new phenomenon. A significant part of the society is not prepared for the threats that have arisen with it, such as information struggle, information manipulation and cyber terrorism. Therefore, a justified question arises about the assessment of the real scale related to the depth of qualitative changes that it introduces into social life now and in the coming years. Historical experience shows that permanent social changes can not always be easily distinguished from the often spectacular, but as it turns out transient fascination with technological innovations. This text is an attempt to ask a few more detailed questions about the significance and impact of information warfare on changes in people's behavior and social behavior.
