    Opis:
    There are no conventionalized ways to investigate the results of multidimensional analysis (MDA) from the perceptual perspective in an experimental setting. An MDA of the Czech corpus Koditex by Cvrček et al. (2020) established eight dimensions of variation based on 122 linguistic features. The first two dimensions, which explain the largest proportion of shared variance, are labeled as 1. dynamic (+)/static (-) and 2. spontaneous (+)/prepared (-). In our study, we investigated if some situational contexts of language use evoke stronger associations with the poles of the two dimensions than others. Furthermore, we aimed to explore the impact of the mode of language use and the properties of the interlocutor on the ratings. Czech native speakers (n=107) rated various situational contexts on 7-point Likert-like scales representing the MDA-based dimensions. The items were balanced in the formality of the interlocutor’s name (Mr. or Mrs. in connection to surname/first name), the interlocutor´s gender, and the mode of language use (spoken/written). The statistical analysis uncovered a significant effect of the formality of the interlocutor's name and the mode of language use on the ratings. Using first names and spoken mode resulted in ratings closer to the positive poles of the dimensions. The comparison of individual items showed that some situations, mainly those representing the negative poles of the dimensions, are rated more consistently than others. The results of our study offer insight into how native speakers evaluate situations of language use on the scales of preparedness, subjectivity, and interactivity.

    Malgré la fréquence de son apparition dans l’expression naturelle (aussi bien parlée qu’écrite), l’interjection reste, paradoxalement, l’un des phénomènes les plus controversés de tout le système linguistique et dès lors, considérés comme périphériques. La complexité de sa nature aussi bien que son statut très ambigu, conduisent au flou terminologique ne permettant pas d’aboutir, à ce stade de recherche, à un modèle définitoire qui pourrait être satisfaisant pour tous les éléments de cette classe grammaticale. Notre article se propose d’explorer la catégorie de l’interjection en s’appuyant sur les critères morphologiques, syntaxiques et sémantiques. L’objectif de notre travail sera de décrire le fonctionnement de l’interjection dans le discours en évoquant le rôle du contexte situationnel qui détermine le caractère polyfonctionnel de ce groupe de mots. Cette démarche nous permettra ègalement d’analyser le potentiel expressif de la classe grammaticale en question, ainsi que sa portée communicative.
    Despite its frequent appearance in natural expression (both spoken and written), the interjection remains, paradoxically, one of the most controversial phenomena in the whole language system and is therefore considered peripheral. The complexity of its nature, as well as its very ambiguous status, lead to blurry terminology, which, at this stage of research, does not allow to achieve a defining model that could be satisfactory for all elements of this grammatical class. The paper aims to explore the category of the interjection by relying on morphological, syntactic and semantic criteria. The objective of my work is to describe the functioning of the interjection in speech by evoking the role of situational context which determines the multifunctional character of this group of words. This approach will also allow me to analyze the expressive potential of the grammatical category in question and its communicative significance.

    Artykuł ukazuje znaczenie kontekstu w interpretacji wydarzeń oraz w międzyetnicznych relacjach w Afryce Zachodniej. Społeczeństwa tradycyjne, traktujące tożsamość człowieka w kategoriach relacji, kładą nacisk na interpretację okoliczności zaistnienia wydarzeń. Ważną rolę w życiu codziennym odgrywa tzw. kontekst sytuacyjny, który pozwala na uzupełnienie komunikacji werbalnej. Jest on przedmiotem pierwszej części artykułu. Druga część odnosi się do kontekstu społeczno-politycznego. Kontekst pozwala na nadanie właściwej interpretacji wydarzeniom, ponieważ w przekonaniu Afrykanów nic się bez głębszej przyczyny nie zdarza. Ponadto, autor wskazuje na rolę paniki moralnej, jako ramy kontekstualnej, która narzuca interpretację, na przykład, zgodną z paradygmatem czarownictwa. Trzecia część artykułu poświęcona jest roli kontekstu w przyjmowaniu obcych przekazów. Na podstawie przykładu masowych nawróceń u ludu Dagbani, autor ukazuje znaczenie zbiegu pewnych zewnętrznych okoliczności w ewangelizacji tego ludu.
    The article indicates the importance of the context in the interpretation of events and the inter-ethnical relationships in West Africa. Traditional societies, treating human identity in terms of relationships, insist on the interpretation of the circumstances of the events happening. An important role in the everyday life is played by the so-called situational context that allows the supplementing of verbal communication. It is the subject of the first part of the article. The second part refers to the socio-political context. The context allows giving a proper interpretation of the events, because Africans believe nothing happens without a profounder reason. Moreover, the present author points to the role of moral panic as a contextual framework that imposes an interpretation which is, for example, in accordance with the paradigm of witchcraft. The third part of the article is devoted to the role of context in the adoption of foreign remittances. Based on the example of mass conversions of the Dagbani people, the author shows the importance of the confluence of certain external circumstances in the evangelisation of the people.

    W artykule przedstawiono możliwości diagnostyczne kwestionariusza „Inwentarz Diagnostyki Osobowości w Kontekście Sytuacyjnym – IPS” dla oceny kompetencji społeczno-komunikacyjnych pracowników socjalnych. Zbadano 286 pracowników socjalnych, wykreślając dla każdego z nich profil kompetencyjny. Badanym, którzy uzyskali profile wymagające interwencji w postaci wsparcia bądź też korekcji, zaproponowano udział w specjalnie przygotowanym projekcie rozwojowym opartym na spotkaniach su-perwizyjnych oraz szkoleniach. Po tych szkoleniach ponownie wypełniali kwestionariusz IPS. Wyniki wskazały wyraźne zmiany niekorzystnych wzorców zachowań i zdecydowanie wyższy poziom jakości kompetencji społeczno-komunikacyjnych.
    The article presents the diagnostic possibilities of the questionnaire “Inventory of Personnel Diagnostics in Situation Context – IPS” for the assessment of social communication competence of social workers. 286 social workers were examined by designing the competency profile for each of them. The respondents who obtained profiles requiring intervention in the form of support or correction, were directed to participate in a specially prepared project based on supervisory meetings and training. The post test was conducted using IPS on respondents after participation in the project. The results indicated a modifica-tion of inadequate behavior patterns and a better picture of social communication competence.

    W artykule omówiono wykładniki językowe dialogów obecnych w publicystyce prasowej okresu I wojny światowej, na przykładzie artykułu „Będziemy żyli” anonimowego autora, który ukazał się w 93. numerze „Gońca Częstochowskiego” (22.04.1916 r.). Wśród wykładników dialogowości zaobserwowano: zaimek osobowy „my” w licznych, losowych formach, zaimek dzierżawczy „nasz”. Wykładniki te są językowo-stylistycznymi miarami dialogowości i jednocześnie wykładnikami perswazji językowej i środków wpływających na emocjonalną kolorystykę tekstu. Konieczność perswazji wobec odbiorców określonych poglądów uwarunkowanych wojną, zdecydowała o zastosowaniu tych, a nie innych wykładników. Dialog ma znaczenie w kontekście sytuacyjnym stworzonym przez wojnę i w kontekście społeczno-kulturowym, stanowi centrum służące perswazji, jest „narzędziem w rękach” perswazji.
    In the article one discussed lingual exponents present dialoguenesses in the press journalism from the period And the world war on the example of the article we will live the anonymous author who appeared in 93. number of the Częstochowa (22.04.1916 years) „Messenger”. Among exponents of dialogueness one observed: we including, the personal pronoun we in number numerous in different random forms, our possessive pronoun.These exponents are lingual-stylish measures of dialogueness, and simultaneously exponents of the lingual persuasion and measures influencing on the emotional colouring of the text. The necessity of the persuasion of recipients to determined views conditioned of war, decided about the use these, and not other exponents. Dialogueness is in the situational context created by the war and in the context a social-cultural important centre to servants to the persuasion, „a tool in hands” of the persuasion.

    Opis:
    The paper presents new way of qualitative data analysis developed by Adele E. Clarke (2003, 2005) called “situational analysis”. Clarke’s project aims to further and regenerate grounded theory methodology after postmodern turn and shift it toward constructivist epistemology. There were presented main theses of Clarke’s approach in the article: critique of traditional grounded theory, grounded theorizing project using situational maps, social words/arenas maps and positional maps. The author of the article discusses reviewed approach, considering epistemological status of “situation” as a key concept in Clarke’s project, focusing on context instead of actions, introducing nonhuman actants into analysis and the problem of pre- conceptualization.
    Artykuł prezentuje nowe podejście w analizie danych jakościowych rozwijane przez Adele E. Clarke (2003, 2005) i nazywane przez nią "analizą sytuacyjną". Projekt Clarke ma na celu propagować i ożywić metodologię teorii ugruntowanej po postmodernistycznym zwrocie i skierować ją w stronę konstruktywistycznych epistemologii. W artykule zostały zaprezentowane główne tezy podejścia Clarke: krytyka tradycyjnej teorii ugruntowanej, projekt ugruntowanego teoretyzowania przy użyciu map sytuacyjnych, map społecznych światów i aren oraz map pozycyjnych, warunki stosowania tego rodzaju metod kartograficznych i diagramów. Autorka artykułu podejmuje dyskusję z prezentowanym podejściem, rozważając epistemologiczny status kluczowego w koncepcji Clarke pojęcia "sytuacji", efekt przesunięcia ogniska uwagi z działań społecznych na ich kontekst, epistemologiczny status wprowadzanych przez Clarke do analizy nonhuman actants oraz problem prekonceptualizacji podejścia Clarke.
