Opis:
Contemporary family policy in Poland offers universal programs addressed to all families in order to support their functioning (e.g. maternity and parental leave, ‘500+’ program, ‘Maluch +’ program), as well as so-called selective forms of support, targeted at a given group of people or families (e.g. family benefits for the poor families and alimony found for single-parent families or those in a difficult life situation). This study presents the characteristics of single-parent families and selected forms of support addressed to them. For this purpose, the law and literature on the subject have been analysed. The text describes the social and educational work with a single-parent family and how to apply the principle of individualization in the work with the family in order to select the services adequate for a particular family from the variety of possible solutions.

This article focuses on the challenges faced by single-parent foster families. The scope of problems includes theoretical issues concerning such notions as family and incomplete family. The function of foster family in the light of the Act of 9 June 2011 on family support and foster care system was also presented. The article presents the results of research conducted by the author within the framework of her Bachelor’s thesis. Methodological assumptions of the research were also described and their results were presented on the basis of which conclusions and recommendations were formulated concerning the improvement of the support and health care system as well as the change of attitude in the perception of foster families run by single people.

Therefore you can not freely develop elements in the any one given area.

Ocenę oparto na autorskiej metodzie opracowanej na podstawie opinii ekspertów i wskaźników ładu przestrzennego z literatury.
The article concerns the issue of local spatial shaping order upon the administrative decision concerning terms of construction and land management. The studies included 10 singlefamily housing buildings located in urban and rural commune of Kaluszyn. The evaluation of the selected objects was made using the original method that was formed basing on expert’s opinion and review of literature concerning spatial order indicators.

The figure of the single mother has played an important role in Japanese television drama over several decades. In the 1960s and 1970s, the figure of the single mother was often used to uphold traditional, patriarchal notions of family and gender, which stressed the importance of the mothers role in childrearing and running the household, and limited the role of women to the domestic sphere. However, as female participation in all areas of society has increased, and women have begun to question the assumption that marriage and motherhood are an essential part of their lives, so Japanese television drama has responded, reflecting and sometimes anticipating these changes. Today, single mothers in Japanese television dramas are actively rejecting patriarchal structures by forming women-only support networks or forging new identities as independent career women. However, very little academic attention has been paid to these representations. This paper hopes to make a small contribution towards rectifying this situation by analyzing the representations of single motherhood in contemporary television drama.

In the research paradigm focused on the stress-loaded functioning of single-mother families it has been observed that the efficiency of coping with stress depends on many factors, among which social support is one of the most important. Research results show that a higher level of social support is usually associated with more positive indicators of the functioning of an individual. On the basis of this assumption it was expected that social support provided by grandparents would be a significant predictor of mental resilience in adolescent grandchildren from single-mother families – also in conditions differentiated by household type: living with or without grandparents. Studies performed on a sample of 278 adolescents with the Berlin Social Support Scales (BSSS), the Adolescent–Peer Communication Scale, and the Resilience Measurement Scale (SPP-18) have shown that grandparental social support is not the only predictor of adolescents’ functioning.

Tematem opracowania jest architektura jednorodzinnych domów mieszkalnych projektowanych w latach 80-tych i 90-tych XX wieku i w pierwszych latach po roku 2000. Na przykładach własnych prac autor ukazuje występujące w tym czasie tendencje w projektowaniu budynków jednorodzinnych1. Prezentowane projekty powstały na zamówienie prywatnych inwestorów jako budynki wolnostojące. W końcowej części pokazano fragmenty dwóch prac dyplomowych wykonanych na kierunku studiów architektura w roku 2003 pod kierunkiem autora. Wspólną, łączącą je cechą jest nawiązanie do tradycyjnej architektury regionalnej Górnego Śląska. Mieszczą się one zatem w nurcie architektury postmodernistycznej2, a także kierunków określanych jako architektura neotradycjonalna i architektura miejsca3. W kilku projektach zastosowano specyficzne rozwiązanie przestrzenne – zaprojektowano pokój dzienny jako wydzielony z bryły budynku, o większej wysokości niż inne pomieszczenia mieszkalne i nieznacznie uniesiony nad terenem co umożliwia dobry kontakt z ogrodem. Artykuł jest próbą podsumowania własnych doświadczeń w projektowaniu i realizacji jednorodzinnych domów mieszkalnych.
Presented own designs single-family residential development of the 80s., 90s. XX century and the beginning of XXI. century made with the author’s collaboration arch. Alina Borowczak-Grzybowska. Presented detached houses were made to individual order of private investors as an alternative to typical projects „home directories”. They are housed in the mainstream of postmodernism and are embedded in the regional architectural tradition of Upper Silesia. Due to the nature of the border region and its landscape diversity of this tradition it is heterogeneous. There here the influence of Polish culture in its various forms, Czech, German and in the north-eastern part of region - Russia. To folk architecture of the Silesian Beskid refers design holiday home in Porąbka-Kozubniku and Dissertation „project agritourism farms” in Istebna. Single-family houses in Toszek, Kielcza and Brzękowicach near Psary are an attempt contemporary interpretation of a small manor occurring on the northern, eastern and southern borderlands region. Houses in Opole and Gliwice are the proposals of urban detached houses with steep roofs adapted to the surrounding buildings from the late nineteenth. and XX. century. Thesis „single-family housing in Zabrze” refers to the tradition of building workers in the industrial part of Upper Silesia. Recreational and residential buildings in Żyłka can be associated with the early modernist villas with 20-years of the last century, of which numerous examples can be found in the region. Against the background of comments concerning housing in Poland during their formation, forming the historical context of the works presented, the author describes the spatial solutions of buildings. Of the 12 presented projects 6 have been implemented. Also shown 2 theses done under the guidance of the author’s undertaking on modern interpretations of regional architecture.

The research problem of the article refers to the question of the sense of using concrete prefabrication to create a new quality of architecture for single-family houses. Known and referenced projects from the past - from the period of early architectural Rationalism (Modernism and Functionalism) - seem appropriate to show, recall and update the idea of concrete prefabrication of single-family houses in the present day. This point of reference, having its source in the vision of the housing revolution from the beginning of the 20th century, can today be the subject of direct references and the search for further variants of rational patterns of modern prefabrication of single-family houses. The article is based on the most important items from the beginnings of concrete prefabrication technology, including Vers une architecture (1923) by Le Corbusier and articles and manuscripts by Walter Gropius following new concepts in German construction. Newer items include the Gilbert Herbert’s text that summarizes the heritage of Gropius’ prefabrication entitled The Dream of the Factory Made House by Walter Gropius and Konrad Wachsmann (1984). The research method was the analysis of selected historical and contemporary houses built either in whole or in part in the precast concrete technology (a multiple-case study). The presentation of new examples shows the possibility of adapting the rational ideas and aesthetics of architecture from the early 20th century with the use of the latest concrete technologies. According to the author, the sense of concrete prefabrication in the construction of single-family houses is to return to the idea of ‘developed’ technology rationalization and Modernist architectural aesthetics. Although prefabrication is associated with the domain of economization, modularity, standardization and typification, thanks to advanced technologies, a prefabricated house in the 21st century can be a proof of the multitude of possible configurations.
Problemem badawczym artykułu jest sens wykorzystania prefabrykacji betonowej do tworzenia nowej jakości architektury domów jednorodzinnych. Znane i omawiane przez badaczy realizacje realizacje z przeszłości - konkretnie z okresu wczesnego racjonalizmu architektonicznego (modernizmu i funkcjonalizmu) - wydają się odpowiednie do ukazania, przypomnienia i zaktualizowania idei prefabrykacji betonowej domów jednorodzinnych we współczesności. Ów punkt odniesienia, mający swoje źródło w wizji rewolucji mieszkaniowej z początku XX wieku, może być dzisiaj przedmiotem bezpośrednich nawiązań i poszukiwania kolejnych wariantów racjonalnych wzorców współczesnej prefabrykacji domów jednorodzinnych. Artykuł opiera się na najważniejszych pozycjach z początków technologii prefabrykacji betonowej, m.in. Vers une architecture (1923) Le Corbusiera oraz artykułach i manuskryptach Waltera Gropiusa podążających za nowymi koncepcjami budownictwa niemieckiego. Z nowszych pozycji szczególnie ważny jest tekst Gilberta Herberta podsumowujący dziedzictwo prefabrykacji Gropiusa pt. The Dream of the Factory Made House by Walter Gropius and Konrad Wachsmann (1984). Za metodę badawczą przyjęto analizę wybranych historycznych oraz współczesnych domów realizowanych w całości albo w części w technologii betonowej prefabrykowanej (case studies). Prezentacja nowych przykładów ukazuje możliwość adaptacji racjonalnych idei i estetyk architektury z początku XX wieku przy zastosowaniu najnowszych technologii betonowych. Według autora sensem prefabrykacji betonowej w budownictwie domów jednorodzinnych jest powrót do idei „rozwiniętej” racjonalizacji technologii oraz modernistycznej estetyki architektonicznej. Choć prefabrykacja wiąże się z domeną ekonomizacji, modułowości, standaryzacji i typizacji, dzięki rozwiniętym technologiom dom prefabrykowany w XXI wieku może stanowić dowód na wielość możliwych konfiguracji.

Contemporary changes in family structures, and first of all changes in social mentality and perception of the importance of family relationships, undoubtedly bear the evolution hallmarks. This concept does not necessarily mean a change for the better, but it may also identify the degeneration and the change of adverse quality. There is no doubt that appreciation of woman’s role and impact, emphasis put on the equal dignity of the spouses, the necessity of their mutual respect and subjectivity of children are the steps in the right direction. However, the attempt to redefine the concept of the family without taking into account the type and quality of bonds between parents (whether they are married or not) and aiming to treat any kind of adult relationship (regardless of their gender) to whom children are assigned as a family should be considered a highly problematic trend. It contrasts with the essential elements of the Christian perspective on family. The starting point of Christian reflection on the family is, on one hand, God’s pre-intention towards the man included on the first pages of the Bible with the covenant marriage as the main element, and on the other hand, a kind of anthropological realism which perceives fragility and threats of this primary and natural communion. However, irrespective of accepted assumptions, there is no doubt that the stability of the family whose key element is a permanent heterosexual relationship between parents becomes a prerequisite of the successful socialization of the young generation. In this sense the future fate of the society depends on durability and quality of the family. All attempts of relativization of the family should be considered as disquieting, beginning with promotion of informal relationships up to attempts at giving privilege to same-sex relationships and granting them privileges analogical to those enjoyed by the family. Concern for the family is one of the most important responsibilities of the state, therefore one of the elements of restoring its proper social status is demanding from the government not to confine the family policy only to pre-election promises.

Kruszywa znajdują szerokie zastosowanie we wszystkich segmentach budownictwa. Zdecydowanie największe zapotrzebowanie na kruszywa generowane jest przez budownictwo liniowe. Należy mieć na uwadze, że segment ten w okresie kilkuletnim stanie się mniej atrakcyjny dla branży kruszyw. Po zakończeniu nowej perspektywy finansowej UE 2014–2020 zrealizowana zostanie zdecydowana większość dużych inwestycji infrastrukturalnych (drogowych i kolejowych). Mniej widoczny w ostatnich latach segment budownictwa kubaturowego po tym okresie będzie miał większe znaczenie na rynku kruszyw.
Natural aggregates are widely used both in ribbon and volumetric construction. In respect of quantitative demand, ribbon construction is definitely much more receptive. After completion of implementation of large infrastructural investments, co-financed by EU funds, volumetric construction will become one of major directions of sale of aggregates.

W pierwszej części artykułu przedstawiono technologię wykonywania tradycyjnej podłogi na gruncie wraz z opisem poszczególnych warst dla budownictwa jednorodzinnego. W drugiej części artykułu opisano rozwiązanie wykonania podłogi na gruncie z zastosowaniem keramzytu, który stanowi jej integralną część.
In first part of the article the technology of making traditional floor on the ground togher with the description of particular layers for detached houses was presented. The second part describes the solution of making floor on the ground with application of the ceramsite with constitutes its integral part.
