Opis:
At present, ship model tests are based on the normal mode at home and abroad. With the development and application of abnormal hydraulic model, it is necessary to study abnormal ship model. The similarity criterion of abnormal ship model is deduced from the similarity theory of normal hydraulic model in this paper. Some factors that affect the maneuverability of the abnormal ship model are discussed by theoretical analysis of ship maneuvering. The influence of the K and T index of different variable rate on the abnormal ship model maneuvering and the dimensional effect of the abnormal ship model are obtained, which can be used as a reference for the study of the abnormal ship model.

Opis:
In article the short description of the most often used methods of classification at pattern recognition is given. The main attention is paid to the methods allowing development of a system for image recognition in a real time scale. The features formation method on the base of two-dimensional spatial spectrums of objects images is offered and application of similarity metrics in a decision-making rule for image classification is described. Experimental data of correct and erroneous recognition probabilities as well as image classification time depending on a number of features and on the identification threshold value are presented and analyzed.

Opis:
The subject of the considerations presented in the article is the question of the criteria according to which the comparables, in the market value estimating process, should be selected. As the most important in the selection of comparative properties, the factor of similarity in relation to the subject property (measured by the Euclidean distance) was considered. As the key issue, the similarity assessment criterion and the influence of the adopted critical value of this criterion on the accuracy of estimates were chosen. The analysis of the above was carried out with taking into account the role of the significance of independent variables (measured by their correlation with the vector of the dependent variable). The results of the simulation tests carried out in the variants set by the criteria adopted were presented. On this basis, it has been shown that there is a potential most relevant solution in the collection of obtainable estimation results. This solution corresponds with the smallest sum of the differences of model prices (accepted as known) and corresponding estimates. The found minimum occurs for a specific layout of the above criterion values only.

Opis:
This method is based on the determination of similarity criterion Z as the average temperature difference between the reference and analyzed curves in the solidification region. The purpose of this work is to describe the thermal express-analysis (TDA) device created by us and the substantiation of the reliability and sensitivity of the results of the new method, including the definition of a two-sided confidence interval using Student’s t-test. The error of the method was determined with the Student’s criterion taken into account. The high sensitivity of the method to the metallurgical prehistory of the gray and white cast iron melts was confirmed. The method has been successfully tested under laboratory and experimental-industrial conditions on induction melting cast iron. The new method uses a disposable environmentally friendly submersible steel sampler with a heat-resistant coating inside and out. The method allows for the quick adaptation to the conditions of specific foundries (especially with the frequent changes of classes and types of cast iron) due to replenishing the database of the reference samples. The basic features of the new method are its universality, self-adaptability, speed, relative simplicity, and high sensitivity to the metallurgical prehistory of molten iron.

Opis:
The fatigue resistance of the cylinder block (CB) of an axial-piston hydraulic machine (APHM) made of tin bronze CuSn12 has been investigated. Fatigue tests of smooth and notched standard samples were performed and fatigue curves were constructed. The stress state of the CB is investigated by the finite element method. It is established that the maximum stresses are localized on a small part of the partition between axial cylinders holes loaded by internal pressure. A method for recalculating the established length of this zone of partition with an uneven distribution of dangerous stresses by an equivalent length with a constant stress equal to the maximum is proposed. The use of the statistical theory of the similarity of the fatigue failure of Serensen-Kogayev, the results of the fatigue tests of the samples and the calculation of the equivalent length made it possible to determine the endurance limit of the CB considered. The acceptability of the proposed method estimating the endurance limit by the known results of resource tests of the CB APHM 210.25 is confirmed.
