Spektroskopia ramanowska staje się coraz bardziej popularną techniką ze względu na prostotę pomiarów, brak konieczności przygotowywania próbki oraz możliwość pomiarów in situ. Powoduje to ciągły wzrost zainteresowania oraz rozszerzanie możliwości zastosowania tej techniki analitycznej. W prezentowanej pracy przedstawiono część badań dotyczących indygo zarówno w formie wyizolowanej, jak i na tkaninach użytkowych i artystycznych z użyciem spektroskopii ramanowskiej z zakresu NIR. Analizie zostały poddane włókna jedwabne, barwione na niebiesko z oprawy thanek mongolskich z początku XX wieku.
Vibrational analysis of pigments and dyes has become a very important and increasingly popular analytical method. The main advantages of this method are a small amount of sample needed to be measured and the possibilities of in situ measurements, so it is very useful in the area of art conservation. The samples were investigated using FTRaman spectroscopy techniques. Two Mongolian thangkas from a private collection are the subject of our research: thangka of Maitreia (a painting on canvas, with a silk border) and White Tara (a woodcut painting on silk, with a silk border). We examine samples of silk threads tinted in blue originating from the borders of these two thangkas. Additionally modern, blue, silk fibres were also examined. Finally, using Raman spectroscopy analysis, the indigo dye was detected only in thangkas samples. - Źródło:
