Opis:
The results of investigations ascertain the influence of the water level regime on the erosion dynamics that was estimated according gullies volume change within the space-time between two measurements. The development of gullies in the shore zone is to a large extent influenced by the abrasion of shore slopes, which is intense at high water level in the reservoir. The minimum rate of gully development (4.5-54.7m3 yr-1) was due to the action of shore abrasion and eolian processes within the period of 2004-2007. A large positive dynamics can be attributed to the increasing number of erosion cuts. The maximum material loss from gullies (in total 627.66 m3 ) and the average volumetric retreat rate for all gullies (16.5 m3 yr-1) were recorded at the permanent lowering of the reservoir water level during the 2007-2008 period. Water level fluctuations cause cyclic changes in the dynamics of processes and initiate the new mechanism of erosion that is not typical of regular conditions.

Opis:
The operating temperature of the transmission line in the traction network is affected by geographical and climatic factors, especially the wind speed. To make better use of the thermal stability transmission capacity of the traction power supply system in improving the short-term emergency transmission capacity, the dynamic rating technology is introduced into the traction power supply system. According to the time-varying characteristics of the actual wind speed, a dynamic rating method of the traction network based on wind speed prediction is proposed and constructed. Based on the time series model in predicting the wind speed series along the corridor of the traction network, the temperature curve of each transmission line under different currents is calculated by combining it with the heat balance equation of an IEEE-738 capacity expansion model, thus the relationship between the peak operating temperature and current of each transmission line in the prediction period is obtained. According to the current distribution coefficient, the capacity increase limit of the traction network is determined. The example shows that the proposed dynamic rating method based on wind speed prediction is an effective method to predict the short-term safe capacity increase limit of the traction network, which can increase the comprehensive capacity of the traction network by about 45% in the next six hours, and the capacity increase effect is obvious, which can provide reference and technical support for short-term emergency dispatching of traction power supply dispatching centres.

Opis:
Dynamic hand gestures attract great interest and are utilized in different fields. Amongthese, man-machine interaction is an interesting area that makes use of the hand to providea natural way of interaction between them. A dynamic hand gesture recognition system isproposed in this paper, which helps to perform control operations in applications such asmusic players, video games, etc. The key motivation of this research is to provide a simple, touch-free system for effortless and faster human-computer interaction (HCI). As thisproposed model employs dynamic hand gestures, HCI is achieved by building a modelwith a convolutional neural network (CNN) and long short-term memory (LSTM) net-works. CNN helps in extracting important features from the images and LSTM helpsto extract the motion information between the frames. Various models are constructedby differing the LSTM and CNN layers. The proposed system is tested on an existing EgoGesture dataset that has several classes of gestures from which the dynamic gesturesare utilized. This dataset is used as it has more data with a complex background, actionsperformed with varying speeds, lighting conditions, etc. This proposed hand gesture recognition system attained an accuracy of 93%, which is better than other existing systemssubject to certain limitations.
