    Opis:
    Ecclesiastical legislator committed conference of bishops in each country to develop a program of priestly formation. Polish Bishops Conference has issued standards that have been approved by the Congregation for Catholic Education in 1999. Issue of this document coincided with the end of the Second Polish Plenary Synod. His resolutions have some indications as to the formation in the seminary. These documents drew attention to the fact that the contemporary socio-cultural changes significantly influenced the appearance of gaps in the human formation of persons who want to become priests. The legislator stressed that the realization of humanity in this most important task seminarian seminary formation. It contributes to the personal development of the candidate, as well as in the long term, helps build relationships in pastoral work. Important elements of human formation seminarian is to achieve emotional maturity, mature form of freedom and the formation of responsible conscience. The introduction of the propaedeutical period and psychology to enable the candidate to the priesthood obtaining mature human formation. They are useful in even out difference and fill gaps in this sphere of formation.

    The article essentially aims at answering who were the Polish young men wishing to become priests in 2020 as compared with the candidates who entered Polish seminaries in 2000. The answer was based on quantitative and qualitative surveys conducted in 2000 and 2019 among seminarians at the very beginning of their priestly formation. The questionnaires, though exposing great cognitive possibilities, cannot measure what concerns the mystery of vocation or faith. Despite these limitations, the obtained results have allowed us to find out, for example, where the seminarians came from and what their backgrounds were. They also show their interests, the level of their general and religious knowledge as well as their values. Of importance was to get to know their visions of the priesthood and the Church. The present paper, as a synthesis of the study published in book form, gives a profile of the contemporary candidate for the priesthood. The results of the research can be used by formators and all those who make arrangements for the introduction of the new Ratio Institutionis in Poland.
    Artykuł odpowiada zasadniczo na dwa pytania: kim jest młody człowiek pragnący zostać księdzem w 2020 r. oraz kim byli kandydaci wstępujący do seminarium w roku 2000. Odpowiedzi uzyskano dzięki badaniom ilościowym i jakościowym przeprowadzonym w roku 2000, a następnie w roku 2019 wśród tych, którzy do seminarium wstąpili, ale jeszcze nie rozpoczęli formacji. Badania ankietowe, choć dają duże możliwości poznawcze, to jednak nie mierzą tego, co dotyczy tajemnicy powołania czy też wiary. Pomimo tych ograniczeń uzyskane wyniki pozwalają na to, aby dowiedzieć się dla przykładu skąd pochodzą wstępujący do seminariów, z jakich rodzin i środowisk się wywodzą. Analiza wyników przeprowadzonych badań ukazuje też sferę ich zainteresowań, poziom wiedzy ogólnej i religijnej oraz świat wartości. Ważną sprawą jest też ukazanie wizji kapłaństwa i Kościoła, jaką mają ci, którzy pragną w nim służyć. Niniejszy artykuł – stanowiący syntezę badania, które w całości ukazało się w formie książkowej – tworzy pewnego rodzaju portret współczesnego kandydata do kapłaństwa. Wyniki prezentowanych badań mogą posłużyć formatorom seminaryjnym oraz tym wszystkim, którzy przygotowują wprowadzenie w Polsce nowego Ratio Institutionis.

    Te teaching of the canon law in the Major Seminary of the diocese of Siedlce in the years 1918-2018. Te draf of the problem Te subject of the scientifc article is the teaching of canon law in the Major Seminary of the diocese of Siedlce in the years 1918-2018. Te author uses the historical-legal and dogmatic-legal method. Te author analyzes the teaching of canon law in the context of intellectual and pastoral formation, which are involved in the preparation of the can-didates for the ordination of the presbyterate. Te study of the canon law has always been one of the basis for the priesthood’s instrumentarium. Te author analyzes the norms of canon law, which form the basis for the teaching of the canon law in the Siedlce seminary, presents scientifc profles of seminar lecturers, textbooks and didactics. Te teaching of the canon law was based in 1917 on the Codex Iuris Canonici, and from 1983 on the Code of Canon Law, whose norms are interpreted in the light of the ecclesiology of the Vaticanum Secundum.
    Przedmiotem artykułu jest nauczanie prawa kanonicznego w Wyższym Seminarium Duchownym diecezji siedleckiej w latach 1918-2018. Autor używa metody historyczno-prawnej i dogmatyczno-prawnej. Autor nauczanie prawa kanonicznego rozpatruje w kontekście formacji intelektualne i duszpasterskie, które składają się na przygotowanie kandydatów do święceń prezbiteratu. Studium prawa kanonicznego zawsze należało do podstawowego instrumentarium kapłańskiego. Autor analizuje normy prawa kanonicznego, stanowiące podstawę nauczania prawa kanonicznego w siedleckim seminarium duchownym, przedstawia naukowe sylwetki seminaryjnych wykładowców, podręczniki oraz Nauczanie prawa kanonicznego w WSD diecezji siedleckiej w latach 1918-2018. Zarys problematyki dydaktykę. Nauczanie prawa kanonicznego opierało się od 1917 r. na Codex Iuris Canonici, a od 1983 r. na Kodeksie Prawa Kanonicznego, którego normy są interpretowane w świetle eklezjologii Vaticanum Secundum.

    Opis:
    Studies of student press before 1945 completely omit over 80 titles of periodicals edited and published by the students of Polish episcopate and monastic theological seminaries. Clerics of Theological Seminary in Vilnius were the authors of three periodicals edited there: “Eos”, “Eucharistic Life” and “Seminarian Bell”. Articles, reports and chronicles included in those periodicals enhance – apart from the literature – many other fields of science, most of all history, especially the history of the Church. Moreover, they enrich Polish cultural landscape. In those works we can find information about life in the Theological Seminary in Vilnius and its student community as well as their attitude to general social issues connected with culture.
    В разработках, касающихся студенческой прессы до 1945 г., абсолютно не указаны более 80 названий журналов, редактируемых и издаваемых польскими студентами епархиальных и монастырских духовных семинарий. Семинаристы Духовной семинарии в Вильне были авторами трех издаваемых там журналов: «Еос», Евхаристическая жизнь», «Семинарный звонок». Статьи, отчеты и хроники, размещенные в них, пополняют, кроме литературы, много других областей науки, прежде всего историю, а именно историю костела, делают богатым польский культурный пейзаж. Мы находим в них информацию о жизни Духовной семинарии в Вильне и ее студенческом обществе, а также отношние әтой среды к общим правилам, связанным с культурой, по которым живет человечество.
