    Jacques Derrida’s critique of Edmund Husserl in Voice and Phenomenon targets several ways in which Husserl’s theory of signs is said to remain dependent on a model of presence, and therefore to be a form of onto-theology. In a sense this simply extends Martin Heidegger’s own critique of Husserl as failing to account for what remains obscure behind any presentation to the mind. Yet Derrida’s critique is ultimately more radical than Heidegger’s, though the radicality is in this case unjustified. Namely, Derrida goes beyond Heidegger’s critique of presence to mount an additional critique of “self-presence,” which is more often known as “identity.” Derrida’s insufficiently motivated critique of identity leads to additional problems for his philosophy.

    Autor wylicza problemy, którymi zajmuje się terapia filozoficzna i podejmuje próbę podania jej definicji. W tekście znajdziemy odwołania do psychologii homeryckiej, współczesnych nurtów terapeutycznych oraz przykładów zastosowania terapii filozoficznej (zapisy obserwacji osób po odbyciu indywidualnej sesji terapii filozoficznej lub pracy grupowej). W artykule ukazany został związek terapii filozoficznej ze starożytnym pojmowaniem filozofii (antyczne ćwiczenia duchowe). Główną osią, wokół której prowadzone są rozważania jest zastosowanie terapii filozoficznej w procesie stawania się osobą.
    This paper lists the problems that philosophical therapy deals with and tries to provide a definition of philosophical therapy. In particular , we find references to Homeric psychology, contemporary therapeutic trends, and examples of the use of philosophical therapy (observation records after individual sessions of philosophical therapy or group work). This article develops the connections between philosophical therapy and the ancient understanding of philosophy (ancient spiritual exercises). The focal point of our considerations concerns the application of philosophical therapy to the process of becoming a person.

Artykuł podejmuje próbę dowiedzenia, że w dobie zjawiska przetwarzania rozpowszechnionego, możliwego dzięki technologii komputerów ubieranych, wirtualność staje się nieodłącznym elementem fenotypu człowieka. W efekcie self może być rozumiane jako twór polegający zarówno na rzeczywistości fizycznej, jak i wirtualnej w celu tworzenia świadomości, która jest tworem dynamicznym, podlegającym nieustannym modyfikacjom. Ponadto, wskutek transparentności oraz wszechobecności technologii komputerów ubieranych proces ten wydaje się być nieświadomym dla jednostki, a więc również nieuniknionym i nieodwracalnym.
    The paper looks at how Joshua Ferris’s To Rise Again at a Decent Hour reflects the increasing importance of virtuality in shaping human identity. It argues that in the age of ubiquitous computing, facilitated by wearable technology, the virtual has become an intrinsic part of human phenotype. Consequently, the self can be construed as a construct relying both on the real and the virtual for creating identity, which is a dynamic entity undergoing unceasing modifications. Additionally, due to the transparency and omnipresence of wearable technology the process appears to be unconscious to an individual and, therefore, inevitable and irreversible.

    These days, Social Media which is includes (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linkedin) is an extremely well known social correspondence media. Individuals use Social Media to express their musings, thoughts, sonnets, and distresses on them. In the period of data superhighway, greater part of the young people are not sharing their challenges, issues, irregularity, power-lessness and disappointment with their folks in Kurdistan of Iraq.     The twelve-year collaborative practice of Marina Abramović and Ulay (Franck Uwe Laysiepen), started with extreme, rapturous and unflinching explorations of capacities of the body in their early performances (a phase they called The Warriors), that corresponded to the fury of the 1970s. In an environment hostile to the living, phenomenological body (in arts, in theoretical discourse) of the 1980s, the two artists recalibrated their living and artistic strategy. During their extensive journeys into distant lands (deserts of Asia, Africa, Australia), they were introduced to and embraced the practices of Eastern meditation techniques, which secured and procured their escape from the limitations of their own culture and their relationship. They also significantly influenced and modified forms and functions of their joint performances. The refined simplicity and stillness of the form of their many-times (re)enacted performance Nightsea Crossing focussed and spurred their inner forces towards self-perfection and the unfolding of more sophisticated lines of connection with the outside, with otherness. The legacy of this performance has affected the direction and function of their later, individual careers.
