    Opis:
    Hybrid systems (HS) are roughly described as a set of discrete state transitions and continuous dynamics modeled by differential equations. Parametric HS may be constructed by having parameters on the differential equations, initial conditions, jump conditions, or a combination of the previous ones. In real applications, the best solution is obtained by a set of metrics functional over the set of solutions generated from a finite set of parameters. This paper examines the choice of parameters on delta-reachability bounded hybrid systems. We present an efficient model based on the tool pHL-MT to benchmark the HS solutions (based on dReach), and a non-parametric frontier analysis approach, relying on multidirectional efficiency analysis (MEA). Three numerical examples of epidemic models with variable growth infectivity are presented, namely: when the variable of infected individuals oscillates around some endemic (non-autonomous) equilibrium; when there is an asymptotically stable non-trivial attractor; and in the presence of bump functions.

    Opis:
    This work introduces important properties of some new derivatives of nitrotetrazolyl-imidazole as high nitrogen energetic compounds, which are evaluated and discussed using some reliable models. The predicted properties are also compared with 1,3,5,7-tetranitro-1,3,5,7-tetraazacyclooctane (HMX). It is shown that some of these compounds can be seen as interesting organic explosives with relatively high performance and low sensitivity, which could be used for important industrial applications. Since some of the new compounds have a relatively good oxygen balance, the calculated specific impulses confirm that these compounds can be considered as suitable oxidizers in solid propellants.

    This article demonstrates the difficulties present in the optimal utilization of ensuring public safety and protection in Poland’s commercial sector. The author conducted comprehensive theoretical and empirical research in this area diagnosing actively operating protection companies. The article contains courses of action that should be adopted to improve the current situation, in which the private security sector is not properly used. Indicated herein are detailed projects both legal, organizational and economic, to improve co-operation of all subsystems of public safety.

    Opis:
    The introduction of anions and cations into energetic materials can significantly improve their physicochemical and energetic properties. The K, Zn, Ba, Cu and Pb salts of 1,1,2,2-tetranitraminoethane (TNAE) were synthesized using TNAE as the starting material, and were characterized by IR spectroscopy, NMR spectroscopy and elemental analysis. All of the energetic salts exhibited relatively high thermal stabilities (decomposition temperatures ranging from 195.1 °C to 279.3 °C) and high densities (ranging from 2.1 g·cm–3 to 3.7 g·cm–3). It was demonstrated that the introduction of metal ions conveys better thermal stability than covalent TNAE itself. More importantly, the Zn, Ba and Cu salts exhibited good thermal stability, high density, low sensitivity, and therefore have the potential to be a new class of insensitive, highly energetic explosives for practical applications.

    Stosując metodę filtracji membranowej stwierdzono, że diwercyna wykazuje tendencję do silnej agregacji w kompleksy zawierające ponad 25 monomerów. Agregaty diwercyny ulegały częściowemu rozszczepieniu pod wpływem etanolu, izopropanolu, SDS, Nonidetu P-40 oraz Tweenu 80. Najsilniejsze właściwości dezagregujące posiadał SDS. Spośród badanych alkoholi i detergentów, jedynie Tween 80 mógł być dodawany bezpośrednio do pożywki, gdyż nie wykazywał toksycznego działania na kulturę Carno- bacterium divergens AS7. Obecność tego związku w pożywce hodowlanej zwiększała aktywność diwercyny, skutecznie ograniczała jej agregację i ułatwiała ultrafiltrację. Biorąc pod uwagę możliwość zastosowania tej bakteriocyny w przemyśle spożywczym, do dezagregacji diwercyny zalecany jest alkohol etylowy.
    Based on the divercin transfer through ultrafiltration membrane, it was showed that this bacteriocin tents to form large aggregates with the molecular weight over 100 kDa, contains over 25 monomers. The aggregates were partially depolymerised by ethanol, isopropanol, SDS, Nonidet P-40 and Tween 80. The greatest depolymerization of divercin aggregates was observed when SDS was used. Among alcohols and detergents tested, only Tween 80 can be introduced directly into Camobacterium divergens AS7 culture because of its non toxic effect on the bacteria cells. The presence of Tween 80 increased divercin activity, limited divercin aggregation and make easy its ultrafiltration. Taking into account the application of divercin in food industry, ethanol can be suggested for disaggregating of bacteriocin macromolecules.

    Agencje ochrony osób i mienia odkąd zaczęły powstawać w naszym kraju począwszy od początku 1989 roku, stały się ważnym elementem ochrony oraz kształtowania porządku i bezpieczeństwa publicznego. Ochraniają one wiele ważnych i kluczowych dla naszego bezpieczeństwa obiektów, w tym także wchodzących w skład infrastruktury krytycznej, z powodzeniem mogłyby realizować określone cele i zostać wykorzystane w systemie bezpieczeństwa narodowego. Agencje ochrony osób i mienia zapewniają ochronę podczas zgromadzeń, imprez artystycznych i sportowych, mogłyby nawiązać ściślejszą współpracę np. z Policją, strażą pożarną oraz Siłami Zbrojnymi RP, a także z innymi służbami. Pracownicy ochrony mogliby zostać wykorzystani w Narodowych Siłach Rezerwy, jak to postulował M. Kryłowicz w jednym ze swoich opracowań. Agencje ochrony osób i mienia powinny nawiązać ściślejszą współpracę z organami samorządu terytorialnego, a także ze strażami gminnymi (miejskimi), poprzez wymianę informacji na temat zagrożeń na obszarze ich działania. Szerokim polem do wykorzystania agencji ochrony osób i mienia jest także zarządzanie kryzysowe, mogłoby to nastąpić poprzez podpisywanie odpowiednich umów i uwzględnienie ich w planach zarządzania kryzysowego.
    Security agencies for protection of people and property have become a significant element of protection and shaping the order and public safety in our country since they started to be set up in 1989. They protect many important and key facilities for our society, including also ones forming part of crucial infrastructure and they could realize designated goals and be used within the national system of safety with success. Security agencies for protection of persons and property ensure protection during meetings, artistic events and sport events and might enter a tighter cooperation with for instance the police, fire departments, Armed Forces of Poland as well as other services. Security employees might be used in National Reserve Forces as it was indicated by M Kryłowicz in one of his elaborations. Security agencies for protection of persons and property should establish tighter cooperation with local government authorities as well as with municipal police through exchange of information on threats within the area of their operations. A wide scope of use of security agencies for protection of persons and property is also crisis management which could be developed by means of signing adequate agreements and their inclusion within the plans of crisis management.
