W artykule omówiono wybrane zagadnienia korzyści płynących z zastosowania napędów regulowanej prędkości w odkrywkowych zakładach górniczych. Omówiono przykładowe zastosowania regulacji prędkości w napędach przenośników taśmowych, poruszając zarówno zagadnienia poprawy jakości sterowania, jak i funkcjonalności, których uzyskanie bez regulacji prędkości nie jest możliwe. Do podstawowych aspektów należą: - regulacja prędkości wynikająca z aspektów technologicznych (w stanach dynamicznych i quasi statycznych), - oszczędności energetyczne, - ochrona środowiska, - sterowanie bezpieczeństwem. Rozważania poparto przykładami aplikacji zrealizowanych w KWB "Turów", w szczególności na przenośnikach Z-3B oraz Z-4B.
The chosen questions of advantages flowing from the use of drives of the regulated speed in opencast mining plant talked over in the report. Propeling the example uses of the adjustment of the speed talked over in the drives of belt conveyor both the question of the improvement of the quality of control, how and the functionality, which obtainment without the control of the speed possible. They belong to basic aspects: - the adjustment the speed resulting from technological aspects (in dynamic states anastatic quasi), - energetistic economies, - the protection of the environment, - the control the safety. Considerations were supported the examples of applications realized in KWB ,,Turów" , in the peculiarity on conveyor Z-3B and Z-4B.

In preventing the accidents due to improper operation of the control systems the periodical inspection of their functioning is of crucial importance. Therefore, the control system designer should specify how often the system should undergo the periodical inspection. The paper presents some recommendations for the determination of periodical inspection frequency of safety related control systems in machinery. The recommendations are based on simple and easy to use mathematical models which have been developed by adaptation and simplification of models used for the determination of maintenance policies of complex systems. Practical implementation of the proposed recommendation is illustrated on some actual case studies.

Opis:
In this article a prototype ProSIL software system for computer-aided functional safety management is discribed. The software consists of three modules for: determination of the required SIL level (ProSILen), veryfication of the SIL level (ProSILver), and layer of protection analysis (ProSIL/LOPA). In ProSIL the methods concerning functional safety analysis in the process of the design and operation of Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) are implemented according to PN-EN 61508 and PN-EN 61511 standards, and some new methods, e.g. the calibrated risk graph method for determining required safety integrity level (SIL) based on the risk assessment. Moreover, methods of veryfying the SIL level of SIS. The Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA) method with regard to Human Reliability Analysis (HRA) are also included in the software.

W artykule zaproponowano metodyczne podejście do ekonomicznej oceny społecznoekologicznych funkcji lasu. Technika ta opiera się na określeniu społeczno-ekologicznego potencjału drewna określonego gatunku, w określonym wieku, który został pozyskany z danego ekosystemu z przeznaczeniem do produkcji. Ilościowa ocena społecznoekologicznego potencjału jest możliwa w warunkach oceny materiałowej pojedynczego drzewa w aspekcie społecznym i ekonomicznym.
he article methodical approaches to the economic assessment of the socioenvironmental functions of forests. This technique is based on the definition of socioecological potential of a tree of a certain breed, a certain age, which are extracted from a particular ecosystem for production. Quantitative assessment of the socio-ecological potentials is possible in terms of estimating the material existence of utilities of a single tree in the social and ovsepiani areas.
В статье предлагаются методические подходы к экономической оценке социально-экологических функций леса. Такая методика базируется на определении социально-экологического потенциала дерева определенной породы, определенного возраста, которое изымается из определенной экосистемы для производства продукции. Количественная оценка социальнокологических потенциалов возможна в условиях оценки материального проявления полезностей отдельного дерева в социальной и общеприродной сферах.

Podsystemy te powinny cechować się wysokim poziomem zapewnianego bezpieczeństwa funkcjonalnego w przewidywalnych warunkach środowiskowych oraz w wysokim stopniu uniemożliwiać obchodzenie funkcji osłon ruchomych.
The paper presents the questions of application for safety of machinery the interlocking and locking control subsystems which work together with movable guards. The modern solutions of interlocking and locking control subsystems shall perform their protective actions with high confidence and provide the additional functional properties in case of abnormal situations. These subsystems shall rich the high level of functional safety in the reasonable predicted environme nt conditions and highly prevent the movable guard defeating.

The paper describes the use of matrix game theory for the synthesis of safe control of a ship in collision situations. An analysis of the sensitivity of the ship control algorithm to the inaccuracy of process state information and changes in its parameters was presented. Sensitivity characteristics were compared on the example of the navigational situation in the Kattegat Strait for good and restricted visibility at sea.

Opis:
The optimal location of workplaces plays an important role in the structure of occupational safety. The design of the workspace should ensure the optimal distribution of functions between person and machine in order to create safe working conditions, reduce the severity of work and the level of production injuries. Most often, workplace planning is carried out manually, by simple calculation, and then the rationality of workplace planning is evaluated, based on statistics of industrial accidents and occupational diseases, as well as indicators of labor productivity, for example, the ratio of compliance with norms. To solve the problem of optimal placement in the work mathematical models are built that can take into account various regulatory restrictions and are simple for further software implementation. It is proposed to choose the theory of φ-functions as a basis, which can be characterized as measures of proximity of objects. Thus, the set task of optimal placement of workplaces is reduced to the task of mathematical programming. The objective function determines the criterion of optimality – the minimization of the area or perimeter that will be occupied by the objects. This formulation of the problem is relevant because the use of the smallest production area, taking into account safety requirements, is an economic condition for effective production management. The constraint on the relative location of workplaces is set using φ-functions, which defines the decision domain. That, when formalizing restrictions, you can take into account all regulatory safety distances between workplaces, equipment, walls, etc. Thus, the work explores an approach that will allow automatic planning of the placement of a large number of technological objects, workplaces in accordance with occupational safety standards. Use of the software application, which can be implemented on the basis of the φ-functions apparatus, will significantly reduce the time of workplaces planning and increase its efficiency.
. W strukturze ochrony pracy ważną rolę odgrywa optymalna organizacja miejsc pracy. Projektowanie przestrzeni roboczej powinno zapewnić optymalny podział funkcji pomiędzy człowieka i maszynę w celu stworzenia bezpiecznych warunków pracy, zmniejszenia uciążliwości pracy i poziomu urazów odniesionych w pracy. Najczęściej planowanie miejsca pracy odbywa się ręcznie, poprzez proste obliczenia, a następnie ocenia się racjonalność planowania miejsca pracy na podstawie statystyk urazów i chorób zawodowych, a także wskaźników wydajności pracy, na przykład współczynnika zgodności z normami. Do rozwiązania problemu optymalnego rozmieszczenia budowane są modele matematyczne, które mogą uwzględniać różne ograniczenia normatywne i są proste do dalszej implementacji programowej. Proponuje się wybór teorii funkcji φ, którą można scharakteryzować jako miarę bliskości obiektów. W ten sposób problem optymalnego rozmieszczenia miejsc pracy sprowadza się do problemu programowania matematycznego. Funkcja celu określa kryterium optymalności – minimalizację obszaru lub obwodu, który ma być zajęty przez obiekty. Takie postawienie problemu jest istotne, ponieważ wykorzystanie najmniejszej powierzchni produkcyjnej, z uwzględnieniem wymogów bezpieczeństwa, jest ekonomicznym warunkiem efektywnego zarządzania produkcją. Ograniczenia wzajemnej lokalizacji miejsc pracy ustalane są za pomocą funkcji φ, co określa domenę decyzyjną. Tak więc przy formalizowaniu ograniczeń można uwzględnić wszystkie normatywne odległości bezpieczeństwa między miejscami pracy, urządzeniami, ścianami itp. W związku z tym w artykule badane jest podejście, które będzie automatycznie planować rozmieszczenie dużej liczby obiektów technologicznych, miejsc pracy odpowiednio do standardów bezpieczeństwa pracy. Zastosowanie oprogramowania, które może być realizowane na bazie funkcji φ, znacznie skróci czas planowania miejsc roboczych i zwiększy jego efektywność.

Opis:
Since ship-bank interaction affects the manoeuvrability of a ship navigating close to a bank, the determination of hydrodynamic derivatives is of great importance to assess the ship manoeuvrability. To obtain the hydrodynamic derivatives of the KVLCC2 model ship with different water depths and ship-bank distances, the simulation of PMM tests are carried out using an unsteady Reynolds-Averaged Navier–Stokes (RANS) based solver. Hybrid dynamic mesh technique is proposed to realize the simulation of pure yaw tests in confined water. Studies on the grid convergence and time-step-size convergence are firstly performed. Hydrodynamic derivatives for the ship in different water depths and ship-bank distances are compared. The course stability is investigated based on time-domain simulations and eigenvalue analysis, and the results show that the ship-bank interaction and shallow water effect have a remarkable influence on the course stability.

Opis:
The Electronic Chart Display and Information System (ECDIS) development and implementation have been linked primarily to the safety of navigation. Further development allows the implementation from other aspects of navigation. This primarily pertains to the Harmful Aquatic Organisms and Pathogens (HAOP) from Ballast Water Exchange (BWE) and the use of ECDIS system for improving environmental protection. The paper contains an overview of important legal aspects of sea environment protection related to the Ballast Water Management (BWM) Convention on global as well as on local scale. Apart from enhancing the safety of navigation, integration of the proposed tool for sea environment protection in the ECDIS with onboard ballast water system can significantly contribute to sea and sea environment protection from harmful substances. In this paper, the architecture of such system is suggested. This approach also ensures a reduction of possible consequences on ecological incidents and human errors.

Opis:
It is theoretically considered one of the simplest particular cases of a variational problem of control in an active aviation system acting in conditions of multi-alternativeness and conflicts. With the help of the Euler-Lagrange equations it is obtained the canonical distributions of the subjective preferences for the given functional; differential equation of the second order for finding extremals of the controlled functions of the functional The differential equation satisfies the conditions of existence and unique solution. Mathematical modeling is fulfilled with the help of the hybrid pseudo-entropy function. Plotted corresponding diagrams.
