    Opis:
    Gregory of Nyssa presents the conception of human deification in an extraordinarily clear and concious way, using special verbs and characteristic expressions to emphasize the dynamism of the change of humanity into more divine. The Cappadocian Father, in order to maintain the apophatic nature of his doctrine, more and more often rejects the term of deification and describes it in his writings as participation of man in the divine nature, therefore the nominal term of deification never occurs in his literary works. However, the analysys of Gregory of Nyssa’s descriptions in which he refers to the terminology of deification has revealed a precisely chrystological and collective dimension of this process, which is possible to be taken up by man only owing to the energetic union connecting God and the world.

    Opis:
    Presented here general idea of understanding the unity of faith in the Church according to Ipatij Potij (Hipacy Pociej), the Kiev Metropolitan, seems to cast a new light on the very phenomenon of integrating the union into the Ruthenian Church. Potij claimed that the greatest enemy of the uniatic process in Ruthenia are the persons and institutions not interested in serving the Church as the lively centre of spiritual life of the whole society. That is why he developed his own view concerning maintaining of the unity in the Kiev Church after the union was formed, and the permanent bonds of Christianity in Ruthenia with the traditional Eastern heritage and full relationship with the universal dimension of the Church. It was extremely open vision and at the same time filled with creative inspiration.

    W dniu kanonizacji św. Jana Pawła II, 27 kwietnia 2014 roku, papież Franciszek nazwał go „papieżem rodzin” ze względu na jego wielki wkład w nauczanie o małżeństwie i rodzinie. Szczególnym wyrazem tego nauczania jest adhortacja Familiaris consortio, której przewodnie idee są następujące: małżeństwo sakramentalnym przymierzem, zadania rodziny oraz rodzina Kościołem domowym. Rozważając dokumenty III Nadzwyczajnego Synodu Biskupów (5–18 X 2014) poświęconego małżeństwu i rodzinie i przygotowującego do synodu o rodzinie w 2015 roku, warto przypomnieć nauczanie Jana Pawła II na ten temat.
    On 27 April 2104, that is, on the day of canonization of John Paul II, pope Francis called him – „The Pope of families”. He did it due to St. John Paul’s immense contribution to the development of the church teaching on marriage and family. Of particular significance within the teaching of St. John Paul was the Apostolic Exhortation Familiaris Consortio. The leading ideas of the document are as follows: sacramental marriage, marriage covenant,tasks ofthe family, and family as „the domestic Church”. Reflecting on the documents of the Third Extraordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops held in the Vatican from 5 to 19 October 2014, dedicated to marriage and family, and preparing for the Synod of Bishops on the Family that was held in 2015, it is expedient to recall the teaching of St. John Paul II on this matter.

    Opis:
    The Second Vatican Council required of moral theology to make attempts to renew its methodological approach and ways of communication to a wider audience. Theologians participating in this process had to reckon with the current views of the discipline and the rapid changes that were taking place in the present world. Professor Father Antoni Młotek was among theologians distinguished in the field of the renewal of moral theology in Poland. Through his love of the Holy Bible and the Church, he actively co-created the environment for practicing moral theology. He pointed to the basic determinants of a Christian’s moral life, the value of referring to patristic tradition and to some issues of detailed moral theology.
    Po Soborze Watykańskim II w teologii moralnej zostały podjęte próby jej odnowy w zakresie podejścia metodologicznego i sposobu przekazu szerszemu gronu odbiorców. Uczestniczący w tym procesie teologowie musieli liczyć się z dotychczasowymi ujęciami uprawianej dyscypliny oraz z szybkimi przemianami, jakie zachodzą w obecnym świecie. Do takich ludzi, zasłużonych na polu odnowy teologii moralnej w Polsce, należał ks. prof. Antoni Młotek. Przez swoją miłość do Pisma Świętego i Kościoła aktywnie współtworzył środowisko uprawiania teologii moralnej. Wskazywał na podstawowe wyznaczniki życia moralnego chrześcijanina, wartość odnoszenia się do tradycji patrystycznej oraz na niektóre zagadnienia teologii moralnej szczegółowej.
