    Opis:
    In recent years, transport has become more important, especially in the context of globalization. In this article authors discuss the prediction of possible emergency events connected with the railways transportation. Firstly, there is given an overview of current situation in the EU. Secondly, it is pointed out to relevant legislation and briefly described particular emergency events. Afterwards there is a summary of the important emergency events that occurred in people and goods transport on railways recently in the Czech Republic. Finally, the causes of those are evaluated. The analysis of the current state of the rail transportation of hazard materials set the objectives and limitations of the written work.
    W ostatnich latach, szczególnie w kontekście globalizacji, rola transportu wzrasta. W artykule przedstawiono potencjalne sytuacje kryzysowe związane z transportem kolejowym. Na początku przedstawiono przegląd aktualnej sytuacji w Unii Europejskiej, następnie przedstawiono aktualne przepisy związane z ruchem kolejowym i opisano różne rodzaje zagrożeń. W końcowej części artykułu przedstawiono zdarzenia, które miały miejsce w ostatnich latach w Republice Czeskiej, oraz oceniono ich przyczyny.

    In recent years, various types of commerce including transport have suffered significant damage and costs due to cyber-attacks. The geographic scope of freight transportation has no boundaries, attacks can be launched almost anywhere there is an Internet connection. Therefore, there is no immunity from the failure of computer systems and information of delivery processes in the networks of organizations and companies engaged in maritime transportation. In addition, while the consequences of cyber-attacks on major shipping lines and ports, as well as the digital systems of logistics companies, can be comprehensively analyzed, the vulnerability of ships remains insufficiently studied. This paper offers an analysis of the risks in the field of maritime freight transport and the main factors of influence such as digitization on the safety of the transport process. The basic threats to the information system of the ship are defined and the techniques of risk analysis for the ship information security is proposed.

    W syntetyczny sposób scharakteryzowano tematykę ubezpieczeń w sektorze usług logistycznych i transportowych. W pierwszej części pracy zaprezentowano podstawowe definicje i podmioty występujące w umowach ubezpieczeniowych oraz teoretyczny podział ubezpieczeń gospodarczych. Kolejną część poświęcono charakterystyce rodzajów ubezpieczeń w polskich przedsiębiorstwach. Następnie omówiono rodzaje ryzyk występujących w usługach logistycznych. Na koniec przedstawiono podstawowe rodzaje ubezpieczeń logistycznych występujące na polskim rynku ubezpieczeniowym.
    The chapter synthetically characterises the subject of insurance in the logistics and transport services sector. The first part of the chapter presents the basic definitions and entities occurring in insurance contracts and the theoretical division of business insurance. The next section of the chapter is devoted to the characteristics of types of insurance in Polish enterprises. The next part of the chapter characterises the types of risks occurring in logistics services. The last part of the chapter presents the basic types of logistics insurance occurring on the Polish insurance market.
