Opis:
The WO3-TiO2 novel nanomaterial was synthesized by precipitation method and sonication technique. The nanomaterial for the degradation of malachite green (MAG) dye under natural sun light irradiation. The synthesized nanomaterial is characterized by HR-SEM with EDX, PL and UV-Vis DRS analysis. The photodegradation of MAG at various parameters are reported. The mechanisms of dye degradation in natural sun light explain the higher photocatalytic activity of the catalyst. The result indicates the advantage of wastewater treatment by it. The electrochemical study from DSSC analysis showed increased current by WO3-TiO2 nanomaterial. It was proposed that the catalyst was found to be stable and reusable.

Opis:
Layered double hydroxide (LDH) Zn/Al and Cu/Al was synthesized by using the coprecipitation method under base condition at pH 10 following with formation of composites based on biochar (BC) to form Zn/Al-BC and Cu/ Al-BC. The materials were characterized by XRD, FTIR, BET, and thermal analyses. Furthermore, materials was applied as adsorbent of Cr(VI) on aqueous solution. The performance of composites as adsorbent was evaluated by reusability of adsorbent toward Cr(VI) adsorption process. The results showed that Cu/Al-BC and Zn/Al-BC can reuse the re-adsorption process with the adsorption ability of more than 60%. The adsorption capacity of Cu/ Al-BC and Zn/Al-BC was higher than that of starting materials and up to 384.615 mg/g for Cu/Al-BC and 666.667 mg/g for Zn/Al-BC. Both composites showed the potential adsorbents to remove Cr(VI) from aqueous solution.

Opis:
A series of resins was synthesized and analyzed for selective ion-exchange nature for some metals. Substituted aniline was reacted with formaldehyde, melamine. For the synthesis of ion-exchange resins, sulfuric acid was used as a catalyst. These resins were characterized by elemental analysis and studied antimicrobial activities. Synthesized Resin shows ion exchange capability and moderate activity against microbial. Ion exchange resin also showed reusability and stability at an elevated temperature.

Opis:
Functionalized halloysite was used as a support for the immobilization of an enzyme. The surface of halloysite was modified with amino (–NH), epoxy (–C(O)C) and carbonyl (–C=O) groups. Both unmodified and modified forms of the support underwent a comprehensive physicochemical and structural evaluation, including morphological, structural, thermogravimetric and spectroscopic analysis. Aminoacylase from Aspergillus melleus was used as the enzyme in the immobilization process. The process of immobilization by adsorption was performed for 1, 6 and 24 h using different concentrations of enzyme solution (0.5, 1 and 3 mg/cm3). The quantity of aminoacylase loaded onto the support was calculated by the Bradford method. Free and immobilized aminoacylase were used to catalyze the deacetylation of N-acetyl-L-methionine. Additionally, the thermal and chemical stability of the obtained biocatalytic systems were evaluated, as well as the reusability of the immobilized systems. The biocatalytic system with amino groups demonstrated activity above 70% in the pH range 4–9 and 60% in the temperature range 30–70 °C. Aminoacylase immobilized on amino-functionalized halloysite also retains around 50% of its initial activity after five reaction cycles.
