„Archival Science” to najważniejsze obecnie czasopismo archiwistyczne, publikowane w języku angielskim od 2001 r. Celem artykułu jest analiza treści tekstów opublikowanych na jego łamach w latach 2011–2020. Analizie poddano cztery grupy zagadnień: afiliacje autorów, geograficzną charakterystykę artykułów, stosowane metody badawcze oraz tematykę publikowanych tekstów. W efekcie badań zauważono, iż autorzy artykułów pochodzą głównie z kręgu krajów anglosaskich (co potwierdza stan dla lat 2001–2010, poddany badaniu przez Erica Ketelaara w 2010 r.), a tematyka artykułów, o ile koncentruje się na jakimś obszarze geograficznym, powiela tę samą koncentrację na obszarach kręgu anglosaskiego. Zaobserwowano, że znaczna część publikacji naukowych nie przedstawia konkretnych metod badawczych, natomiast te, które to robią, wskazują zarówno na tradycyjne metody, takie jak badania archiwalne i analiza literatury, jak również na metody charakterystyczne dla nauk społecznych (np. wywiad, obserwacja, ankieta). Dziesięć najpopularniejszych tematów opisywanych w analizowanych tekstach to: zagadnienia cyfrowe, the underprivileged, państwowe archiwa i dokumentacja, historia archiwów, prawa człowieka, dekolonizacja, etyka, opracowanie archiwaliów, archiwa społeczne, zawód archiwisty i zarządcy dokumentacją.
Archival Science is currently the most important archive journal, published in English since 2001. The aim of this article is to analyse articles published in that journal in the years 2011–2020. Four types of issues were analysed: the authors’ affiliations, geographical characteristics of articles, research methods and the subject of the published texts. As a result, it was noted that authors of articles come mostly from English-speaking countries (which confirms the trend from the years 2001–2010, studied by Eric Ketelaar in 2010) and when the subject of an article focuses on a specific geographical area, it concerns English-speaking countries as well. It was observed that many research articles do not present specific research methods and those that do mention not only traditional methods, such as archival research and a literature review, but also methods characteristic of social sciences (e.g. an interview, observation, survey). Ten most popular subjects described in the analysed texts include: digital issues, the underprivileged, state archives and documentation, the history of archives, human rights, decolonisation, ethics, preparing archival materials, social archives, the profession of an archivist and documentation manager.

Opis:
Jakkolwiek kształtowanie sie centrów handlowych w przestrzeni zurbanizowanej nie stanowi nowego zjawiska, to jednak nadal badania nad fenomenem centrów handlowych stanowią bardzo istotny przedmiot zainteresowania wielu dyscyplin naukowych. Na podstawie przeprowadzonej analizy literatury wyróżniono i scharakteryzowano dwa okresy badawcze. Pierwszy – podstawowy (do 1956 roku) – stanowi punkt wyjścia w badaniach, przedstawiając genezę i kształtowanie sie pierwotnej formuły centrum handlowego. Drugi – zaawansowany (po 1956 roku) – obejmuje krystalizacje czterech głównych nurtów badawczych określonych jako: techniczny, lokalizacyjny, ekonomiczno-organizacyjny i  behawioralny. Pomiędzy nimi można zauważyć wiele wzajemnych i  złożonych zależności, które ze względu na pojawianie sie nowych wyspecjalizowanych płaszczyzn badawczych podlegają nieustannej ewolucji.
Shopping centres are not a recent form of commerce activity in urban areas. The very beginning of this kind of trade organization in United States goes back into the past as far as the first decades of the twentieth century. in the last decade of the same century, shopping centres reached the stage of maturity, both in America and in Europe. Nevertheless, new, multidimensional studies in this subject are still carried out and they are characterized with high dynamism. On the basis of extended literature survey, the author has decided to divide the entire research period into two phases. The first, fundamental one (until 1956) is a starting point of all studies, defining a genesis and evolution of the initial form of shopping centre concept. The second, mature phase (after 1956), encounters a separation of four major research lines, i.e.: technical, localization, system-economical and behavioural. All the above mentioned parts work and interact with each other, creating a complex system of mutual dependencies, which undergoes permanent evolution under the influence of new, specialized research branches.

The aim of this article is to discuss on a few antropology of literature conceptions from a different research circles and debate about proposed relations between involved disciplines. I paid a special attention on the manner of defining the research field of the antropology of literature in particular projects. This issue should be concidered in a wider context - the question is: in what extent, the research on antropology of literature is a part of an interdisciplinary or transdyscyplinary research tradition? Transdyscyplinary research should be considered as based on a professional specialization, but undertaking problems immpossible to solve within the framework of the particular disciplines. In this way it leads to a new reserch field constitution. Analysis of the presented examples implicates that antropology of literature research tends toward transdiscyplinarity.

Between literary and cultural comparative studies The article constitutes an attempt to present in a synthetic way the main assumptions behind the fundamental trends in the comparative studies of the 19th and 20th centuries, as well as their evolution. Following the predominance of the influential model which had developed since the middle of the 19th century and focused chiefly on the genetic research of literary affiliations, and which had assumed the existence of a national literature as an organic entity, since the sixties of the 20th century, there arises a new perspective in comparative studies, where the fundamental role is played by thematic and structural categories (motif, concept, topic, genre, current etc.). The nineties of the 20th century bring yet another attempt to reformulate the methods of comparative studies and to abandon focusing on literary studies, in favor of cultural research in comparative studies, where the fundamental role is played, among others, by issues such as the concept of power, gender, race and also review and multi-, inter- and transculturalism

A book in Ukrainian language entitled Poetics of Mysticality. A Collective Monography edited by Ol’ga Červìns’ka concerns the problems of so called sacrology. Fourteen authors focus on issue of sacred and literature. There are thirteen scientists from Ukraine and one from Japan. The book is divided into two parts. In the first part there are articles about ‘sacred’ (mysticality) as a category in poetics. Here authors describe paradoxes and borders of mysticality (Ol’ga V’âčeslavìvna Červìns’ka), mysticality in literature (Roman Volodimirovič Mnih), the Biblical glocalism and artistic literature (Igor Josipovič Nabitovič), symbol in poetics of ‘sacred’ (mysticality) (Zorâna Bogdanìvna Lanovik and Mar’âna Bogdanìvna Lanovik) In the second part of the book there are articles about ‘sacred’ in the projects of literary experience. Here eight authors describe the next problems: German romanticism and ‘sacred’ (Boris Borisovič Šalagìnov), understanding of ‘sacred’ in contemporary Japan literature (Koiti Itokava [Itokawa] from Japan), sacred motives of Jewish cabalism in a book by Paul Celan A Rose for Nobody (Petro Vasil’ovič Rihlo), Mona Lisa and expressionistic project of sacred experience in a novel A Thief by Georg Heym (Svìtlana Pavlìvna Macenka), ‘sacred’ in postmodern reception in the cemetery Highgate in London (Natalìâ Oleksandrìvna Vysoc’ka), mysticality and mystification as a counterpoint of an artistic text by Jean Iris Murdoch (Al’ona Anatolìїvna Matìjčak), transgression of Dostoevskij’s mystical reality in literary practice of Georges Bernanos (Roman Anatolìjovič Dzik), the ways of expression of mysticism (mystery, sacred) in recent promotional materials (Alla Volodimirìvna Sažina). Background: The aim of the research was to acquire knowledge as to how the development of scientific publications looks, while also to specify the scope of research on the area of ski tourism. The research process is concentrated on the following research questions: In what way has the scientific output developed in the field of research on ski tourism? Who is the principal participant (countries, universities, authors, titles of sources) in the accumulation of research in a particular field? Method: In the process of selecting the test sample as a source of bibliometric data the Scopus database was applied. The test sample (N=1500) consisted of publications that contained such phrases in their works as “ski tourism”, “ski hotels”, “ski resorts” in their titles or key words. A general profiling of publications was conducted in order to assess the trends in scientific output and the acknowledgement of the leading co-workers in the field of research. MS Excel was applied for the purpose of supporting the process of analysis and the visualization of results. Results: The analysis indicates that research on ski tourism is one of the aspects of great tradition. This has gained increasingly great interest among academic environments, which led to the breakthrough growth in the number of publications in 2006 indexed in the Scopus database. This publication output encompasses 26 research areas. Conclusions: The principal areas yielding the largest number of publications with regard to ski tourism are to be found in social sciences and science on the environment. The main authors and co-authors in this field are as follows: representatives from the EU and the USA, while the most productive research institution is Universität Innsbruck. The author of the greatest number of publications is Prof. Daniel Scott (University of Waterloo, Canada). The EU is one of the main sponsors.

The main focus of this article is an analysis of one of Kurt Lück’s most extensive works – Mythos vom Deutschen in der polnischen Volksüberlieferung und Literatur – published in 1938. The article attempts to answer the question of the status of Lück’s large work of research into the “German East” in the 1930s, and the question of how the work was evaluated by German and Polish historians, ethnologists, and literary critics. The book was also presented in the context of the anti-Polish attitude of the author, whose activities and publications were strongly influenced by National Socialism.

The article presents the results of research conducted in the master degree thesis, prepared at the Institute of Theory of Literature, Theatre and Audiovisual Arts, University of Lodz, under the supervision of prof. Assoc. Jarosław Płuciennik. First I present a theoretical and methodological frame of analysis of the text (especially taken form cognitive psychology of concepts: category, categorization, prototype and similarity), the second I present interpretation of terminology in relation to the concept genre and based on it doing a cognitive analysis such categories as: epic poem, heroic poetry or monk heroic poetry, based on Trans-Atlantyk by Witold Gombrowicz. The summary is an attempt to reference the conclusions derived from the analysis to the debate on the nature of the two aestethic categories – ‘style’ and ‘stylization’. These concepts are not – I suppose – immanent properties of the text, but mental constructs, first existing on mind of cognizing person. The cognitive methodology allows this aspect capture and describe.

The Web 2.0 era and the following phases of web development bring new challenges to businesses, but also new opportunities to establish and maintain relationships with market participants, indulge in direct contact with customers and learn about their needs, emotions and opinions. The advancement of content creation and sharing technologies creates an opportunity to collect information from anyone with access to the Internet. User-generated content (UGC) information is increasingly supporting decision-making and analysis for various types of business, management or marketing activities. Such information is also increasingly used as a source of data in scientific research. The present study seeks to evaluate the relevance of UGC in scientific research and the scope and ways in which content created by Internet users can be used by researchers of phenomena existing in the service sector. To achieve this goal, a bibliometric literature review (quantitative analysis of publications, identification of research collaborators, co-author analysis, co-citation analysis and co-word analysis) was conducted covering articles between 2012 and 2022 published in journals indexed in the Scopus database. The analysis used descriptive statistics and text and content analysis. A significant increase was observed in publications between 2020 and 2022. Among the various service branches, the researchers most often chose data sets in the form of comments posted online by customers of tourism industries, mainly those using accommodation services, but also restaurants. TripAdvisor was observed to be the most frequently used data source. In their analysis, the authors used both qualitative and quantitative methods, as well as a combination of them. It is observed that more sophisticated machine learning algorithms have been implemented for text analysis. Finally, the paper also presents future research recommendations.

Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to summarize and evaluate previous research of Polish authors in the field of accounting ethics; identify the main trends in empirical research and organize the research findings; establish and assess the scope of reporting for individual elements of the research process; identify the research gaps that inspire further research. Methodology/approach: A systematic literature review was conducted, including bibliometric analysis and content analysis of 35 publications. Findings: Ethics in accounting as a research area is currently only at the development stage. At the same time, a variety of research interests is noticeable, the most common of which is to identify the motives and causes of unethical behavior. All studies except one were based on non-random sampling. The vast majority of the research was questionnaire; in half of the cases, the research group consisted of students. Recommendations were made regarding the methodological rigor of further research. The methodological shortcomings make it im-possible to replicate the research conducted so far. Thanks to the identification of research gaps, directions for further scientific research were determined. Research limitations/implications: The review was limited to scientific journals only due to the necessity to standardize the sources of publication of research results. Originality/value: Conclusions from the review may inspire others to undertake research in previously unexplored areas. It may also be a guide to ensure the best possible quality.

The purpose of this article is to discuss the merits of interdisciplinary research in the humanities. The discussion is conducted on the example of the volume entitled The Thing. Conceptual and Cultural Aspects, edited by Teresa Dobrzyńskaand Raya Kuncheva (2018). The volume approaches the issues of perception and presence of material objects in the linguistic picture of the world, viewed from the perspective of various humanistic disciplines, such as philosophy, semiotics, linguistics and literature. This interdisciplinary research is also cross-cultural in character, being the result of the studies of Bulgarian, Polish and Slovenian scholars from the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, the New Bulgarian University, the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts. This effective mode of research provides a common ground for discussion and opens the space for dialogue between respective scholars, the disciplines they represent and the readers, going beyond the limitations of specific research areas and producing an overall picture of the object.

A literary and biblistic monograph entitled Hermeneutica Sacra written by Zorâna Lanovik, an Ukrainian professsor of literature at the University of Ternopil, is a very good example of a sacrological scholarly study. Professor Lanovik deals with Russian and Ukrainian literature, theory of literature, comparative studies and the Bible. She has created her own concept of sacrology and sacrological hermeneutics, especially in the sphere of biblical motifs in literature. This extensive monograph (586 pages), written in Ukrainian, is a very important work concerned with the theme of the sacrology of literature and hermeneutics of biblical literature. The monograph consists of an introduction (pages 6-13) and three main chapters, divided into many small parts (subsections). In the first chapter entitled The Bible and literature: specificity of artistic nature of the biblical texts as the basis of biblical hermeneutics (p. 14-57) the author deals with the following questions: 1) the Bible and artistic literature in the context of textual interpretation (p.14-19), 2) the history of the world (Weltgeschichte) and the holy history (Heilsgeschichte) in relation to the problems of historicism and mythologicism (mythology in scholarly cognition) in the Bible (p.19-37), 3) lingual concepts in the Bible (p. 38-43), 4) poetics and rhetoric (artistic nature of the biblical texts, (p. 43-50)), polysemantics and dialogic multiplicity of the Bible (p.50-57) The second chapter entitled Genesis of the biblical hermeneutics: an aspect of literary studies (p.58-280) presents the following issues concerning the history of biblical hermeneutics (‘historiography’ of the theory of the interpretation of the Bible): 1) intertextuality and allegorism as dominants of the ancient Jewish hermeneutics of sacred texts (p.58-74), 2) principles of literary interpretation of The Old Testament in the early apologetics (p.75-79), 3) development of allegorical and historical and literary method of interpretation of the Bible in patristic exegetics (p.79-93), the conception of textual interpretation in scholasticism in the Middle Ages (p.93-107), 5) philological change in the period of humanism and renaissance hermeneutics (p.108-111), 6) transformation of biblical hermeneutics in the Reformation era (p.112-128), 7) inductive basis of ancient texts in scholarly paradigm of modernism (p.128-153), including such problems as: a) biblical rationalism (p.128-130), b) historical and literary criticism (p. 131-140), c) grammar interpretation (p.140-144), d) philosophy and cultural studies (p.145-150), d) biblical irrationalism (p.150-153) and, moreover, 8) interpretive model of the latest biblical hermeneutics (p.154-270), including issues such as: a) the liberal school of hermeneutics (p.154-180), b) the mythological school of hermeneutics (p.180-184), c) the biblical existentialism (p.184-193), d) the most recent phenomenological hermeneutics (p.194-218), e) extra-hermeneutical model of analysis of biblical texts (p.218-234), f) return to the assumptions of "pure hermeneutics" (p.235-270), 9) non-secular schools of Biblical Studies (p.270-280). In the third chapter entitled Methodological system of analysis of biblical texts (p.281-541), the author presents the following questions: 1) the basis of ‘extra-textual’ context of the Bible as an interpretative paradigm of the historical and critical method in hermeneutics (p.281-331), including issues such as: a) the historical paradigm (p.283-305), b) paradigm of cultural studies (p.305-321), c) the geographical paradigm (p.321-331), moreover, 2) the generic paradigm and critical-literary method of interpretation (p.332-387), including issues such as: a) the specificity of the epic (prose) and types (species) of prose in the Old Testament (p.335 -342), b) ancient Jewish poetry and wisdom literature (p.342-358), c) the stories of the prophets: creating genological factors and artistic-figurative curiosities (p.358-371), d) Gospel as the basis of generic description of the New Testament (p.371-381), e) literary analysis of the letters of the New Testament (p.381-387), f) the generic nature of apocalyptic literature: the specificity of artistic organization of the text (p.388-396); besides 3) the author’s paradigm and psychological method of interpretation (p.396-417), 4) the paradigm of language and grammatical method of interpretation (p.417-439), 5) contextual and intertextual principles of the hermeneutical analysis (p.439-465), 6) metatextual paradigms of the Bible and principles of their interpretation (p.465-541), including such problems as: a) the archetypal paradigm (p.465-481), b) the symbolical paradigm (p.481-505), c) the allegorical paradigm (p.505-519), d) the typological paradigm (p.519-541). The author presents the conclusions of the analysis separately (p.542-562), and includes an extensive bibliography (i.e. the literature of the subject - p.563-586). In my opinion, it would be useful to translate this book into English to make it possible for scholars from other European countries to become familar with the conceptions of the Ukrainian sacrological school.

Opis:
Purpose: The purpose of this article was to identify current development directions and potential research gaps in project management. Design/methodology/approach: The method of systematic review of articles published in the Elsevier - Science Direct database in the years 2000-2019 was used, where the search phrase was “project management” and the type of articles was “research articles”. In order to answer the research questions posed, an additional method of analysis and criticism of the literature was used. Findings: The following conclusions were drawn from the analysis of the articles: a) almost a third of them concerned the practical application of PM issues in one clearly defined sector of the economy, with the most common reference being to the building sector and IS/IT, b) most articles were created in English-speaking countries (47%), c) the largest number of articles concerned the area of human resource (HR) management, including many subjects of qualifications and leadership, d) of the ten areas of knowledge specified in PMBoK, “HR” and “scheduling/time” were the most popular, followed by risk-related issues. Practical implications: The findings of this article would contribute to building a strong and coherent theory and identify best practices in project management. Originality/value: The most important achievement is the recognition of two areas of knowledge - lean management and game theory - where little research has been done so far, and whose solutions and methods could be successfully implemented inside PM.

Celem niniejszego artykułu jest rozpoznanie i klasyfikacja podobieństw oraz różnic występujących między BS i SKOK, a także szczegółowa charakterystyka tych spośród nich, które mają wpływ na istotę wspomnianych podmiotów, oraz takich, które jej bezpośrednio dotyczą. Pomimo że w wyniku zmian regulacji SKOK, dokonanych zwłaszcza w latach 2012-2014, zasady działania obu typów rodzimych spółdzielni oszczędnościowo-kredytowych w wielu obszarach znacznie się upodobniły, to jednak nie doszło do wyeliminowania wszystkich różnic, w tym zwłaszcza tych, które decydują o istocie BS i SKOK. Z uwagi na wielość ujawnionych podobieństw i różnic między wspomnianymi instytucjami, oraz ograniczoną objętość artykułu, dokonanie szczegółowej analizy porównawczej ich wszystkich nie było możliwe.(fragment tekstu)
Savings and credit cooperatives do not constitute a homogenous set. Two of their types have been developed and operate in Poland, i.e. cooperative banks and credit unions. The author decided to identify and classify the similarities and differences between them. As a result of this research - having considered the nature of similarities and differences between cooperative banks and credit unions, as well as the type of information sources constituting the basis for a comparative analysis - three major categories of similarities and differences were distinguished: historical, regulatory and situational. Regardless of the classification into categories, both similarities and differences between cooperative banks and credit unions were divided into permanent and variable, general and specific as well as fundamental and secondary ones. The thus performed segregation allowed for distinguishing, among others, both similarities and differences: ❖ referring directly to the essence of cooperative banks and credit unions, which - owing to their fundamental importance - were subject to a detailed analysis and characteristics, and also ❖ historical and covering the effective norms for cooperative banks and credit unions functioning, which were also discussed since they determine the first ones to a significant extent
